    Excellent desserts!

Was starving and needed a good quality breakfast before going to Sunday morning church service. Glad I came here! As soon as you walk in staring in your face are delicious looking pastries and desserts. I could tell from the ambience and just how cute the layout is that I was going to enjoy my meal here. I immediately got sat and went to town. FOOD: Started with a Ham and Cheese Omelette with a side salad and bread. Super clean, delicious and fresh. Loved every bite. It was so good and I was so hungry I ordered 4 pancakes and 10 bacon strips. Also super legit and fresh. I never tasted bacon so clean and good. Probably some of the best bacon I've ever had. Pancakes with syrup was also on point. You would think I got full off of these two dishes. Nope. I was still hungry so I ordered another Spinach and Bell Pepper Omelette. Didn't get the bread this time. It's just crazy to me how much I eat whenever I travel outside the US. It just shows how much preservatives and junk is in our food at home. This place reminds of when I was in Italy. No matter how much I ate while in Poland I never got full full like I do in the States. So many people were staring at me while I was eating lol. Probably because of how much I was eating. I got three dishes for myself. The coffee white was also smooth and fresh. I don't think they do free refills like Denny's back home haha. Service was also perfect. The ladies working here were all very nice and brought the food out in a quick and timely manner. This place gets busy and I can see why. Great food and service. Will definitely be back before I go back home to the States.

Wonderful cafe and great service. Even better was the food--one of the best breakfast stops in recent memory. They offer several unique dishes beyond what would be typical. I had the French toast with crème brûlée sauce with caramelized bananas and fresh berries. Extraordinary! My wife ordered the green taco pancakes (see photo menu) which was delicious as well. A woman next to us had croque madam; she said it was great. All three portions were large and filling. Their coffees were rich and flavorful. Don't miss breakfast here.

Really good spot where to have breakfast! I had a bagel with poached egg, ham, avocado, mushrooms, and arugula which was amazing and with tons of fillings. I also had a smoothie which was very good and refreshing. Service is quick and friendly and prices are fair given the quality and quantity.

Saw the good reviews and decided to have brunch here. It was the right decision! Food was delicious and so full of flavor, drinks as well and had a cool vibe! Definitely recommend!!!

Great ambience, friendly staff and very interesting takes on brunch classics! Tried the taco pancakes and they were definitely one of the more unique brunch items I've tried!

A great cosy inexpensive place which serves English breakfasts (and other meals) the whole day.

The decor is very cozy and modern. Staff speaks english and are overall very friendly. We went on a sunday morning. It was quite busy and we had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. After being seated our food arrived quickly. I can't remember the last time I had breakfast this good! They also have gluten free bread and rice- and soy milk.

When we visited around noon, there were only two parties ahead of us, so the wait wasn't bad at all. We ordered the daily special, a chicken cordon bleu served with potatoes and a side of vegetables that tasted a bit like coleslaw. We also tried two kinds of fried pierogi: spinach and feta, and pickled cabbage with white mushrooms. It was my first time trying pierogi, and I really enjoyed them. They reminded me of dumplings, but were served with sour cream on the side, which added a nice touch. Ordering was very straightforward. The restaurant itself is simple inside, but comfortable (other than the lack of A/C or fans in the summer. Given its proximity to the main square and solid selection of local food choices, it's no wonder they stay packed.

Fries and their traditional mushroom Zapikanki, which translates to mushroom casserole. Even though it comes on bread! This is delicious ! Creamy buttery mushrooms with cheese and greens in top. Yum. Nice thick cut fries too. Glad we checked this place out. It was a little loud and the device a little slow. Definitely a happening place though !

We managed to snag a nice outdoor table with a nice vibe with a couple of other restaurants around us all seating next to each other. Inside this place is adorable and so unique. The decor and colors and the art. Just a neat place. The food and drinks also on par with the ambiance. Service can be slow but we weren't in any hurry. We ordered a round of espresso martinis and my one friend had a sparkling Rosè. The martinis were a little milky looking which isn't my favorite but these tasted good and not to dairy forward. It had a little extra ingredients in it than your normal espresso martini. Which made it different too. Hazelnut vodka and amaretto. Worth a try. We tried the Brie and salad baguette and the berry cheesecake. Both of these were stellar and so good and fresh. Loaded with toppings on the baguette the Brie was nice and creamy. The tomatoes were delicious. The cheesecake was so crumbly and the compote on top was house made and very berry forward. All of it was just the perfect afternoon pick me up and we were so happy with the serving size and all the dressing up in the plate. So pretty. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. They make all their desserts in house I believe. They have some great looking ones displayed . Loved this place !

We sat outside which was a great little courtyard covered by umbrellas for the days sun & heat. We got mixed perogies (this is the only place we've been that lets you order multiple kinds on one plate, half roasted duck and Golabki (meatballs rolled inside cabbage). Perogies were fresh and tasty with spinach/cheese being our favorite. Other offers were potato and cheese, and meat. You can get either mushroom sauce or tomato sauce on the Golabki and I was so torn my waitress brought me both so I could compare. The mushroom sauce was delicious on its own but I enjoyed the tomato sauce more with the Golabki which is filled with meat and rice. (This is definitely a smaller dish than some other menu items with only two Golabki being served). The half roast duck was a large portion of food with potatoes. Duck was moist and tender but my husband who fancies himself a duck snob didn't like the preparation. This is going to be more of a Peking duck style of dish then French sear and serve rare. The children's breaded chicken was some of the best breaded chicken I have ever eaten. If you bring a kid force them to order that and then eat half of it hahaha! It appeared that the most popular item there was their duck burgers as I saw many a plate of that pass by our table. I would venture back to give one of those a try!

There were two rooms and I sat in the long one (the ceiling arc reminded me of a tunnel for some reason) with the duck mural. The menu contained lots of Polish dishes and a dedicated duck section. A duck and pickles appetizer was served gratis. It spread easily on the accompanying slices of bread and was nice. I've not had duck presented like this before and when I piled a couple of the smaller pickle pieces on top the tartness added more complexity for the flavors. I'd order this if it was on their menu. Zurek soup tasted a little tangy and was filled with sausage, mushroom, potatoes plus a whole egg and was delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect but all the different ingredients made for an enjoyable bowl. The bread bowl also contributed by thickening the soup as it abosrbed the broth. The duck breast with smoked plum sauce was thick, cooked medium and very tender. There was a little too much sauce for me but I liked the different taste. The side of glazed carrots and peas had a hint of sweetness and completed the dish along with the potato gnocchi. Service overall was good and efficient. Would return.

I have noticed that many cafes and pubs of Krakow have this approach - which is great - that the background music is rather quiet. after all pub/cafe/restaurant guests come to have a meal/drink and to talk, not to listen to music. I have many wonderful memories from this cafe - meetings with friends for a drink and a chat throughout many years. the place is beautifully decorated and has a unique atmosphere. a very interesting interior, with a mezzanine along two walls in the main room. the mezzanine seating is ideal for a more private conversation or a date ;) even though alcohol is being served there, I haven't noticed any disruptive behaviour. the floor plan of the place (a few connected smallish rooms instead of a large one) prevents bigger groups or (heaven forbid) infamous bachelor parties from frequenting. Although this year I have visited this place on a weeknight so I can't speak for weekends... Altogether I really recommend this place. it is totally unpretentious and is really impressive for those who like antique furniture and decorations, without even trying. There is self service, so don't wait for somebody to take your order - you need to go to the bar to place it. but the staff will clear the tables of course. The cafe has a few connected rooms on the main level, the mezzanine and a medium size room on the second floor (it might be hard to find it) with its own bar, and a beautiful view from the window.
