This was a side street find ! What a cute girly spot! Staff so friendly and this place is bustling with people. We managed to snag a nice outdoor table with a nice vibe with a couple of other restaurants around us all seating next to each other. Inside this place is adorable and so unique. The decor and colors and the art. Just a neat place. The food and drinks also on par with the ambiance. Service can be slow but we weren't in any hurry. We ordered a round of espresso martinis and my one friend had a sparkling Rosè. The martinis were a little milky looking which isn't my favorite but these tasted good and not to dairy forward. It had a little extra ingredients in it than your normal espresso martini. Which made it different too. Hazelnut vodka and amaretto. Worth a try. We tried the Brie and salad baguette and the berry cheesecake. Both of these were stellar and so good and fresh. Loaded with toppings on the baguette the Brie was nice and creamy. The tomatoes were delicious. The cheesecake was so crumbly and the compote on top was house made and very berry forward. All of it was just the perfect afternoon pick me up and we were so happy with the serving size and all the dressing up in the plate. So pretty. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. This is the most memorable breakfast atmosphere I've ever experienced. The restaurant is located in the Old Town of Krakow in a building dating back to the fourteenth century. It consists of several small rooms, nooks and corners stacked with small tables all on different levels. Every room is decorated with a different theme and color you get to pick where you want to sit. We chose a table in the very back - red walls with red velvet curtains, smocked glass mirrors and crystal chandeliers. This was the most beautifully decorated breakfast setting we have ever seen. The food was really delicious, too. We opted for a smocked salmon omelette, shakshooka and an order of Apple pancakes. Everything was truly amazing and had a local twist. This place was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Krakow. I also cannot say enough about the service- our waitress was absolutely delightful and amazing. read more

We are staying at the Hotel Saski, a block away from the Camelot Cafe. The breakfast buffet looked okay at the hotel. It was nowhere near as good as the Camelot Cafe for a lot lower price. We had an omelet with chanterelles, a baguette with egg and the apple pie (cake). read more

This was my favorite spot while visiting Kraków. Just walking distance in the city center. Ordered apple pie and was surprised with a fresh slice of pie and a scoop of ice cream. Cannot beat the price for such delicious pie... now that I'm back in the states I keep thinking about it and my mouth just waters! Loved the tea as well but the pie was beyond words, so delicious. It is a cute café and usually quite busy. I got lucky and got a table. Service is fast and friendly. Breakfast menu has several variations of scrambled eggs and omelettes, french toast and pancakes. My omelette was okay, but had no real finesse and was served with 5 tiny slices of fresh bread. I wished my juice would have come with a spoon and a napkin. My espresso was very tasty. The patio is a very nice place to sit on a spring day, bordered by blooming flowers and located on a pretty, winding cobblestone street. The service is very friendly. I was craving a cheese omelette, but there wasn't one on the menu, so they made me one special. I was delighted to see it come out garnished in watercress. The drinks here are out of this world! All juices are freshly pressed when you order and they taste just like you're eating the fruit. The coffee is also delicious! I found this place on Yelp but I'm slightly disappointed. Yes, it's adorable, perfectly located in the Old Town, and the service is good, but the food is a little bland. I had the salmon salad with avocado and borscht. I'm Russian, and I know my borscht. What they serve is beet juice. Where are the veggies? Where's the sour cream? For beet juice it was delicious, but that doesn't qualify it as borscht. The salad was okay. Truthfully, I was craving lox, that's why I ordered it, but overall nothing special. read more

Delicious, fresh food, served stylishly and generously, at reasonable prices. Loved the outdoor seating, perfect on a warm summer day. Make sure to try the coffee with rose. Nothing short of DIVINE!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they only take cash--which we didn't discover until ready to pay the bill with credit cards. Seriously? This was truly annoying--and hard to believe for an otherwise well-run establishment. Apparently they are one of the few establishments in the 21st century that don't accept plastic. They didn't appear to lack for business, but it seems like it would make things a lot easier--on customers and waitstaff alike--if they were to accept electronic payment. And I'm sure it would make their accounting staff happy too! read more

One of those delightful bohemian cafes they do oh so well in Poland!! Just my kind of place. Situated a stone's throw from our apartment at Florianska we had both breakfasts and desserts and summer evening tea drinks. Kind staff, reasonable prices, good quality food. Plenty of choices for vegetarians on the menu, wonderful freshly squeezed fruit juices, a gooey chocolate cake to fall in love with and lovely tea drinks (with or without alcohol). The interior is darling, but I'm glad we got to spend all those mornings and evenings outdoors in the warm summer city. A treasured memory indeed. We stopped by this place on our way to catch a bus back to Budapest, since nothing much was open in the morning. It's highly rated on Yelp so we decided to give it a try, and I'd say the atmosphere is cozy and artsy but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I got the omelet with chanterelles and sundried tomatoes (you really can't go wrong with either), and it was okay but found it very greasy for my taste. Our server was also unfriendly, inattentive, and brusque, and I'm glad we were only there briefly to get food. If you're looking for a pretty place to take photos, this might be your place. But if you care about the food, there are many other cheaper and more delicious places to explore. read more

As it is at the top of the list for Brunches in Krakow on Yelp, we decided to give Camelot a go. It was a very sunny Sunday morning in spring but as Camelot is located in a corner, it was actually a bit windy and cold. The place itself is full of atmosphere and character, with lots of old artifacts and authentic elements. It needs to be said that the place is a little bit cramped, and the tables are quite small. We sat at a small round table with four chairs around it, but surely it was hardly spacious enough for two. Furthermore the wind was freely blowing into the establish and this made it quite cold: the couple at the table next to us were clearly shivering. We ordered two baguettes (or baquette as they call it), one with salmon and cream cheese, and one with dried tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and an egg (the menu also promised a corn salad but it was unclear whether they just forgot or it got lost in translation). Like the place itself, the plates were very pretty and appealing, but not very practical. The baguettes were of good quality but impossible to cut with the butter-knives that came with it. The only way of eating this in a classy way is eating off the layers of the top and finishing with the bread. They should give a serrated knife with dishes like this. Otherwise simple but tasty. One note about the service then: considering it was very busy the girls did the best they could, but nonetheless we waited for 20 minutes after ordering, after which one baguette came, and the other one followed five minutes later. Also, you cannot pay by card which sort of came as a surprise. Will we be back? Maybe to try the pie, it looked promising. But for 40 zloti (2 baguettes and one coffee) there are better brunches in town. read more

Cute bohemian cafe tucked around the corner from the main square. It's beautiful with decor reminiscent of a French parlor. Had the delectable and very, very thick and rich hot chocolate. Apple cake was incredible also, but the standout by far was the leek soup, flavored with lovely dill. The soup was not overly cream based, which was very refreshing and had the most wonderful flavors. One of the best soups I've had in a long time. Drinks took much longer than the food, but aside from that faux pas, everything else was wonderful and I still look forward to returning. read more

In my mind, Camelot, has been always 4-5 star place due to the dynamics, easy menu and good service. Until ... last year they kept bunch of tables "reserved " ... as it turned out for nobody. Today, same happened, as a single guest; I was pushed upstairs and could not take a 2-seat table on a main floor. Sad. I went downstairs twice (seeing a friend, visiting a restroom)... the "reserved" tables remained empty.
