The experiences were like night and day. On October 1, the driver was dressed well, greeted us, asked what we were celebrating, always double check that everyone was on board, walk to the bus and showed us everything we had access to, and was a genuinely enjoyable person. Last night, barely acknowledged, the lights on the inside of the bus, we're not Bright you couldn't see each other... The speakers in the front didn't work, the music worked for about 20 to 30 minutes of the entire trip. The driver was wearing earphones in his ears while driving so when we wanted him to try and fix the radio we had to tap his shoulder... He really couldn't figure it out and tried to restart the whole bus system a couple of times, but didn't care at all that it didn't work. This would've been better to rent 2 to 3 Uber excels to drive our group around because the bus experience was nothing but a bus ride. I'd like to add that the person that help me schedule and set up the night was wonderful... This was very much driver and bus function issues... He also shared that their other bus was stuck on the side of the road with a party not working. Eeeks.

Anyways, very long story short, there wasn't any music on the bus we got for our wedding. The driver reported that it was broken but the company stated it was working when they checked so I'm not entirely sure what happened. I then had a difficult time getting any follow up from a specific person afterwards to express my dissatisfaction so I ultimately left the situation with a bad taste in my mouth for this company. But a little while later, the owner of the company personally reached out to me personally to apologize for any negative experience that I had and said that they pride themselves on customer service and wanted to make it right. I was not expecting this and ultimately had chalked it all up to a loss and bad experience initially. I'm amazed that any company would care enough for their customers to follow up even after I had already gotten nowhere with one of their employees, to apologize and wanting to make it right. They didn't have to do that and I'm shocked they did but it's clear they really do care about the experience and services they provide to their customers. Once again, I'm amazed and was not expecting anything further from them, but it's clear they will go the extra mile for their clients to give them the service they are paying for.

We just had two visitors come from overseas, they were tired from their trip, signals got crossed and they couldn't find where their driver was waiting for them. Our team got on the phone with the driver and (separately) the passengers and helped navigate them to the same place where they met. It took a while, and other companies' drivers might have given up after waiting a while and left the scene, but our Star driver made sure the travelers were found and had a nice ride. Another plus: the booking client gets an email confirmation when the driver is on-site, another when the travelers are in the car, and another when they arrive at their location (hotel) so we can track the progress all the way and don't have to worry. Once again, Star has validated the confidence we place in them.

Our chauffeur was actually extremely nice and polite throughout the entire trip and I had only good things to say about this company, at first. I noticed I was charged an additional $75 on my credit card with no explanation from the company or breakdown of expenses (an email would have been nice). I emailed John, an employee, and inquired about these charges. I was simply wondering if something had been broken, etc. He replied stating that the company states in their contract they can charge upwards of $100 for "glass and mirror cleaning." He stated because the bus driver said my group was very polite and careful the company decided to only charge me $75. His exact statement in my email is a $75 charge because of "handprints and fingerprints on the glass and mirrors." Seems like an excuse to scrape out as much money as possible don't you think? Beware of this company unless you plan on spending an additional $75-100 at which case, this place is very overpriced then.

I was solely trying to book a bus for a 30th birthday party months in advanced and was beyond appalled at the level of service-or lack there of... I booked online, secured my deposit for the set rate listed online. I received a call weeks after stating it was "prom" weekend and the bus rate is now $400 more then listed upon securing my deposit, going from $800 to $1200. At the time we could not swing it and I processed to look for another rental. After talking it over, we decided to call back and accept the $1200 charge. Upon calling back, an extremely discruntalled employee we will call "alex" based on all the previous reviews (who is hopefully not a manager/owner) answered the phone. When I gave him the dates looking to book, he firmly and disrespectfully said "so you've already called about this bus and we already told you it's prom weekend" as I proceeded to gather more information he started raising his voice and aggressively telling me that they will not book with me and now the bus is $1500 and hung up on me after I continued to explain what I'm looking for. The overall tone and level of service was completely uncalled for. I am in awe that this company is still in business, given the employees complete disregard for the customer. I was simply a customer looking to utilize the services and have NEVER been treated in such a way-especially when dealing with junking, beer stained school buses. And as a side note- Alex -I believe it is. Just know, this isn't the last time you will be hearing from me, I can assure you of that.
