We are always travelling on her birthday and I always try to wow her with a new activity. Twin City did not disappoint! First off- her instruction was kinds of like Paul Reubens (Pee Wee.) That entertained her aunt and I. Super nice guy who was informative, let her try and was a good cheerleader. He had her up there with her legs wrapped around the bar, hands free, flying upside down on her first attempt! AMAZING! The was flipping and the finale- Pee Wee got on one bar and he had each person leave their bar and caught each person mid air! Her lesson lasted an hour and was super reasonably priced. Everyone who was working was a great cheerleader! All the others 'flying' with my daughter were super supportive. They were either looking to master the craft or trying it out. Pro tips: -Wear tight fitting athletic clothes - bring a band aid or two (you might get a callous from holding the bar) - A cat resides at the center, heads up for allergies. I was scared for a whole day before my evening class, but once I jumped off the platform I had nonstop fun for the next hour and a half. Time really flew (yes, I went there). What's even better is that I'm enrolled in the adult winter camp, so I have two more days left! I can't wait for acrobatics and German Wheel! The staff are wonderful and friendly while being professional and safety oriented. It's actually eerie how many things they do to keep you safe that you don't even notice. The other students are very supportive and happy to socialize between turns. It's even warm in the wintertime!

You can try to make as many pieces in the 2 hours, but only pick 1 final piece to fire. I learned so many new skills and was covered in clay at the end of the class. I'm eager to take more classes and recommend this place to friends.

I went, using a Groupon, during the 3rd week of February. The pros- very cute store, tons of things to paint, we had a lot of fun painting our items. The cons- unprofessional staff ran by high schoolers. When my friend and I arrived two hours before the shop closed, we were told we should come back another day because we wouldn't have time to paint. ?? We're in our early 30s....we were making coffee mugs....this seemed really weird. The another woman came in 45 minutes before closing time with two kids. Another high school employee said she needed to leave and come back another day. The woman was upset, her kids were upset. They even promised to be out by 8pm if that was necessary, the employee said that didn't matter....they couldn't paint at all. Most confusing was that a 3rd employee appeared to be there doing her homework at a different table. This could have just been a friend, but it didn't help with the image that 3 people were there working at the shop and asking everyone to leave. It seemed the staff wanted to turn everyone away. There was a group of Girl Scouts there that night as well, but they seemed completely unable to handle more than 10 people in the shop. Now, on the website the store says it's open till 8. I would assume that means you can come in before 8 and paint until 8:30 or so (like a restaurant if you're wanting food....if it's open till 10 you can come in at 9:30 and eat until 11:00). But they wanted everyone out of the shop at 7:45....I was told this directly by a high school helper. So that made the experience a little blah. But what makes it worse is that it's now almost a month later and I haven't received a call that my item is ready. I called several days ago asking if it's ready (I'm assuming it is, since they said it would take 5-7 days) and haven't received a response to my call. And I paid around $50 plus my $20 Groupon.....not how I'd run the business if it were mine.

It's super fun but also very active, so be ready to move. Definitely feels like a workout in the best way. There are about ten different rooms and each one has a different challenge, ranging from brain teasers to full-on physical games. I love that there are different levels so it works for all ages and fitness levels. It's great whether you're competitive or just in it for a laugh. The only small downside is that each room only allows up to five people, and we were a group of eight. We had to split into two groups and mostly stuck with our original teams since switching around isn't always practical. If one team is already inside a room, the others have to wait and it eats into your play time. It would be awesome if they could make that part a bit smoother, but honestly it didn't take away from how fun everything else was. We're already planning to keep going back. I'd honestly sign up for a monthly membership if they had one. Way more fun than the gym and such a good way to hang out with friends while staying active.

You get warm, sweaty, and hot. There are lockers you can tap in and out and water fountains but you do get warm. They have locations all over the North America-- the United States and I think Canada. You gain points/stars and when you reach a certain amount you get free items like a water bottle, keychain, basketball, shirt, etc. Parking is really easy out here.

The rooms each feature varying skills like throwing, pressing, running, etc. Each member of your team will scan your wristband and then choose the type of challenge to play in the themed room (there are several different challenges per room). As long as you don't fail and no one is waiting to play, your group can advance as far as you want. This MOA location is more expensive and seems busier than Roseville, but it has a couple more rooms including unique ones to Roseville and the benefit is you can walk right out for food after!

However, I came to Oya Arts with my Education Evolving team and I truly enjoyed making art thanks to Karen and the way she supported us and encouraged our creativity. It was probably my favorite team building event ever in along history of team building events. From the moment I booked the party to the actual party was seamless. The staff was professional and so good with the girls. They were on point with the decorations, even kid friendly magazines for the kids to reach while getting a pedi.
