Stevens Square - Loring Heights, Whittier

I came in without knowing what I would make, and they were patient and informative and allowed us…read moreto first look at all the types of crafts they have on display throughout the store (with prices attached!). There was a back room to see all the different candle options, scents, paints, dyes, stuffies, etc. I decided to do a candle with a pudding/jelly in the middle which was the base form. I could choose the base candle dye color (white) and pudding color (green). They set me up with all the materials such as a stove, pot, and wax - from there we scanned a QR code to get instructions. They occasionally checked in and verbally told us what to do next as well. As the candle cooled I chose out the smaller candle toppings out of a tray of them and then added it on top! Overall calming experience that scratched a crafting itch. Note if you have cat allergies - I didn't see a cat present but noticed there were cat treats on my table at the end and saw pictures of the resident cat on other reviews afterward when I was wondering why I suddenly had a stuffy nose!

It is easy to spend hours here just working on one craft alone. We've done this activity a few times now with the same group of friends and it's always a blast…read more Every visit feels a little different which keeps it exciting. It's super fun but also very active, so be ready to move. Definitely feels like a workout in the best way. There are about ten different rooms and each one has a different challenge, ranging from brain teasers to full-on physical games. I love that there are different levels so it works for all ages and fitness levels. It's great whether you're competitive or just in it for a laugh. The only small downside is that each room only allows up to five people, and we were a group of eight. We had to split into two groups and mostly stuck with our original teams since switching around isn't always practical. If one team is already inside a room, the others have to wait and it eats into your play time. It would be awesome if they could make that part a bit smoother, but honestly it didn't take away from how fun everything else was. We're already planning to keep going back. I'd honestly sign up for a monthly membership if they had one. Way more fun than the gym and such a good way to hang out with friends while staying active.

My brother and sister in law love games and also physical activities and this is such a great…read moreactivity for older kids and adults! There is a flat price for $75 minutes and there's tons of different rooms and timed activities and very challenging. My family likes this location because it doesn't get as busy so you don't have to wait too long for each of the rooms, there are basketball games, color jumping, trivia, running, hiding, and the time flies quickly! You get warm, sweaty, and hot. There are lockers you can tap in and out and water fountains but you do get warm. They have locations all over the North America-- the United States and I think Canada. You gain points/stars and when you reach a certain amount you get free items like a water bottle, keychain, basketball, shirt, etc. Parking is really easy out here.
