We loved this train store, especially the pay-to-play area! They have multiple rooms of train tables to play and build with tracks, cars, a dollhouse, and more! They also have a small coloring space and one of my kids' favorites, a small bounce house! My girls (4 years & almost 2) both played in the various rooms and had a blast! My little one LOVED the bubble machine by the entrance and my big one thought the employees singing karaoke was the best. The employees were such fun and happy people! Also, the fact that Choo Choo Bob's is located in the Union Depot is the icing on top! I highly recommend this as an affordable, go-to activity (especially in winter!) for kids!

Our first time at their new location! It was awesome. Got there right when they opened at 10 and wasn't busy at all. During story time (Mondays & Fridays at 10:30) it fills up quite a bit, but isn't overwhelming. My 5 year old was entertained by the music & stories by engineer Paul and my 2 year old would play and go back & forth. I didn't have to worry about her getting lost which is great when solo parenting. We played from 10-12:20 (they wanted to stay even longer). Staff is super friendly and great. Was surprised that there was even a bouncy house in the back. Bathrooms are nearby and very clean. There's also a coffee/bike shop right next door. Parking was easy in the Union depot parking ramp b ($4) and the kids loved riding the escalators to get upstairs. Definitely will be returning

Such a fun place to explore! Owner was so nice and made it such a fun experience! Small gift shop with tons of toys! My baby is under one so we got in for free, and he loved it! Otherwise it was $10 per kid and $2 per adult! Well worth it, we got there right when it opened so it was empty for about half an hour then more people came in and explored! But there was tons of space to play and have fun!

Love love this awesome train shop and play area for kiddos and it's right inside Union Depot. You do have to pay for your kid to play with the kiddo model trains but it's so worth it. Lots of comfy areas for parents to sit and relax while their kiddo plays. We caught story time with Choo Choo Bob (actually it was Engineer Andy) but our kiddo loved it and it was very entertaining for our little engineer in training. We had visited their temporary spot in Minneapolis 2 years ago and this is the perfect spot for Choo Choo Bobs! Congrats!!!

Cannot recommend Choo Choo Bob's enough. We celebrated my son's birthday there today and we're so impressed. The space was all decorated and they took care of set up, ordering pizza, gift bags, etc. The price was great compared to other venues and came with built in decor and ambiance. The kids had so much fun. We'll be back this winter to come play.

Choo Choo Bob and his crew are absolutely fabulous! I booked their party room for my 3 year olds birthday and I didn't have to do a thing! They had the whole room set up, BEFORE we even got there. This is a train store but they have SOOO many trains and other vehicles for the kids to play with. Plus tables scattered all over. The best part, they have chairs, and lots of them, for the parents. You could literally spend hours here and your kids will be content, if they're into trains of course. The staff are amazing, and nice and such down to earth people. His bday was on a Sunday afternoon and they even had karaoke for customers to participate in. This was probably the best kids birthday I've thrown. They welcome outside food and drinks (wink wink). but this is a kid/family friendly establishment. I think in general it costs a few dollars to play, but totally worth it for the whole family. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! If you haven't been, please go!

Our family loves Choo Choo Bob's! Play to pay currently is $10/kid, $2/adult and under 1 is free. It's worth it! This is a great place to meet up with friends and have some fun! Lots of train tables, a hot wheel section, doll houses and a coloring table. Their retail section is also great with good selection and fair prices. Staff is wonderful and they have a 10:30 story time/music time that is very interactive!

We were…read morechatting with a dad at a local outdoor playground and he mentioned GNG as a new-ish spot he brings his toddler to. After the heat took its toll, we decided to head over to GNG for some indoor fun. It is located in the midst of a sea of warehouses but you're not lost...it has a huge jungle gym space that requires those tall ceilings. The space is clean, as are the restrooms, with hand sanitizer throughout as well. There are snacks, drinks, and coffee for purchase. The prices are affordable and we opted for the $15 combo passes for the three kids to play in the gym and play 18 holes of mini golf. The play space is enclosed with socks required, so bring those with you (or purchase at GNG). There is an abundance of seating for parents to sit outside the play space or you can go in at no cost as a spectator. Our kids (7 & 11) loved both the jungle gym and the mini golf. There was no one in the large mini golf area and it is black lit and decorated in a pirate and nautical theme that was a lot of fun. I honestly would come back here to play mini golf without my kids with friends or my spouse. With kids was great, too, but the mini golf is also adult-friendly. The arcade was extremely expensive and not worth it, in our opinion. Makes sense, as they likely also pay a game rental company for use of the games. The one item our kids had success with and happiness from was a rubber duck claw machine that guarantees a winner. In general, this was an amazing place that we can't wait to come back to when we are back in town. Amazing find. Thanks, park dad!

Our son had a blast. There is plenty of playground equipment to climb on and over. There is a basketball court area as well as a soccer area with fake turf. There is also one of those bouncy pads for kids to toss themselves around on. There is also a separate play area for kids 2 and under, which is good, so you don't have to worry as much about them getting trampled. There is also an area with tables and chairs so you can bring in food and eat, take a break, or sit and read while your kids burn some calories.

Even a spot for a parent to chill with some snacks or a beverage while their kid is running around. Rules...no food or beverage while playing and no shoes. They have cubbies up front for jackets, shoes, etc. Totally recommend for those needing a place for their kids to be kids and get exercise especially in the winter climate!

While I was checking in, she kept saying "mama go this way, there's swing sets there ! Wow!" Her amazement was priceless but even better was seeing her confidence grow while using some of the larger swing sets. Check in was quick and easy - just sign a waiver and pay the daily drop-in fee - $8. I think there's a punch card you can purchase so that the visits will be cheaper in the end. My daughter had so much fun this time that I think I'll have to purchase one for next time. There's a ton of different options here for open play - a basketball court with a smaller hoop that toddlers can reach, ping pong table, a room full of various sized swingsets, and 2 large trampolines. We were here for 2 hours and my daughter didn't want to leave ! She had so much fun and it was fun watching her. It's perfect for the winter months when you want an indoor play option and your child is feeling cooped up. They have a party room that can be used if the store is rented out. There is also a small lobby area and that's the only area where food and drink is allowed. Definitely bring snacks to eat there because your kids will get hungry! Plenty of bathrooms too - I think I counted 3 - so it's easy to wash those germs off. We will definitely be coming back.
