Wow, I am absolutely amazed by Star Transportation. I had booked a coach bus as a party bus for my wedding in September of 2023. Anyways, very long story short, there wasn't any music on the bus we got for our wedding. The driver reported that it was broken but the company stated it was working when they checked so I'm not entirely sure what happened. I then had a difficult time getting any follow up from a specific person afterwards to express my dissatisfaction so I ultimately left the situation with a bad taste in my mouth for this company. But a little while later, the owner of the company personally reached out to me personally to apologize for any negative experience that I had and said that they pride themselves on customer service and wanted to make it right. I was not expecting this and ultimately had chalked it all up to a loss and bad experience initially. I'm amazed that any company would care enough for their customers to follow up even after I had already gotten nowhere with one of their employees, to apologize and wanting to make it right. They didn't have to do that and I'm shocked they did but it's clear they really do care about the experience and services they provide to their customers. Once again, I'm amazed and was not expecting anything further from them, but it's clear they will go the extra mile for their clients to give them the service they are paying for. read more

Update - this is still the ONLY limo company in the area we will trust to pick up our valued international guests from the airport! We just had two visitors come from overseas, they were tired from their trip, signals got crossed and they couldn't find where their driver was waiting for them. Our team got on the phone with the driver and (separately) the passengers and helped navigate them to the same place where they met. It took a while, and other companies' drivers might have given up after waiting a while and left the scene, but our Star driver made sure the travelers were found and had a nice ride. Another plus: the booking client gets an email confirmation when the driver is on-site, another when the travelers are in the car, and another when they arrive at their location (hotel) so we can track the progress all the way and don't have to worry. I recently reserved a stretch limo for a bachelorette party and Star Transportation was amazing throughout the whole process!! I had to switch our pickup and drop off location the day of and they did it with no questions asked. Our driver, Matthew, was also so great! Our group of 10 reserved the limo sprinter for two hours to tour around the cities and view Christmas light displays. It was so much fun! The sprinter was clean and spacious, perfect for our group of 10 people. They even included a bottle of champagne and ice. A really nice touch. Fantastic experience!!! We hired Star Limousine for my wife's 40th birthday party. They did a GREAT job! The car was beautiful, the driver (Jim) was fantastic, and the service from beginning to end was A+. My wife got the red carpet treatment (literally) at our house, picked up some friends, dinner downtown, and then back home again. I was surprised that we got an 8 passenger vehicle with less than a week's notice. But they pulled it off. Just arranged for Star Transport to pick up my 92 year old dad from his assisted living place to take him to the Mall of America to meet friends for coffee and bring him back . I didn't want to entrust care of dad to a taxi or an Uber as there were a lot of instructions and I needed the driver to really assist dad . All my friends and family are working , his buddies at the mall live too far away and a voluntary service for elderly wouldn't drive the distance and I couldn't be certain about the driving expertise . Further, I am overseas and so need someone really reliable . I called Star Transport and have nothing but praise for them , so professional and accommodating . I was surprised I got a text while overseas the night before reconfirming the arrangements but then I get a text an hour before the pickup saying the driver is enroute . I thought something was wrong as that was too early but found out that this is how Star works they want to arrive with plenty of time . I got constant updates via text of what was happening which again is so important when I am overseas and knowing what MN road conditions can be . Most importantly the driver Tom went beyond expectations as to service . He arranged logistics with my dad's friends , he engaged my Dad in conversation the whole trip (though my dad has some memory loss and will ask the same thing repeatedly ) and did the whole thing in such a way that you know this guy really loves his work . We tried to book a car for a night of holiday light sight seeing. We looked up several companies on line and settled with Star. The advertised rate was reasonable and seemed fair. My wife booked a night and gave her Credit Card only to get a quote back that was double the rate that they advertised. When she called they said it's taxes and gratuity. We went round and round with them and finally she had to cancel the reservation before they admitted that they were wrong. The other couple we were going to go with has a bad taste in their mouth and so do we. Sad to miss the lights but not sad that we weren't taken advantage of. read more

We had the eight passenger limo on New Year's Eve and had a great time. The driver was professional but fun and was ready with nightclub suggestions when we asked. I called around for prices and found that the companies that had a good reputation had similar rates, I liked the customer service woman that I was talking with at Star so choose them over the others....we will use them again. We used Star Limousine to transport a group of 18 friends to/from the airport for a trip to Mexico. Driver was great! He was on-site early at both ends of our trip...including early for our 3am pick-up from our residential neighborhood. We received email updates when the driver was on-site which was very convenient for the pick-up at the airport. The driver loaded/unloaded all of our luggage and was very friendly. Cost was similar to each of us parking on site at the airport. Great value when you consider we had door-to-door service on both legs of our trip. I love these people - and I don't even know them personally! My parents were traveling to Rochester for my elderly father's surgery and Star treated my parents wonderfully. I live across the country, but emailed Star and arranged for a town car to pick my parents up at the Rochester airport to take them to their hotel. Now, my father is terrified of the cold - seriously terrified - and was panicked that he would have to be outside. In addition, their flight was delayed by several hours causing more anxiety. Star was beyond outstanding. They were tracking their flight, knew it was delayed, emailed me when they were en route, arrived at baggage claim with a sign, took my parents right to a heated (and heated seat) town car and right to their hotel. My father being in a wheelchair and barely able to walk was cared for with great concern by Star. They treated my parents extremely well, took great care of them and my parents couldn't have felt more secure. In addition, I arranged for Star's taxi service to pick up food from a local grocery store and deliver it to the hotel for my parents and they adjusted the timing on this as well due to my parents delayed flight - without any objection, without any prompting, without any hassle. This service is beyond exceptional. Star was amazing. And I did this all via email/on line and from across the country so my parents didn't have to do a thing.
