Maxi did a great job for our front yard. We had designed our yard and the quotation process was smooth. We picked Maxi because he gave us the most comfortable feeling amongst all the other contractors we talked to. He was straightforward and had a can-do attitude through the entire process. As with most projects, there were some issues and as they came up, Maxi worked with us to come up with solutions. We also made some changes to the design and Maxi was able to incorporate it without issues. We expanded our terrace and he was able to get it done with minimal cost and finished within a reasonable time. Most importantly, Maxi takes pride in his work. When he saw the paver slope was not to his spec, he removed it and restarted. This took an additional day, but he did it to get it done right. This company is absolutely wonderful. The service was exactly what was needed, quality was excellent, and value certainly wonderful. He responded within a couple of hours of my asking for the estimate. After viewing the area and suggesting ideas, he provided the estimate, and two days later everything was complete. He was extremely reliable, responsive and very detailed in doing the job. (I had several other estimates: one company tried to add in a lot of other unnecessary work; another didn't even show up--just looked at google earth and gave me an estimate; another had a ridiculously high estimate -- I assume they didn't want my job because it was relatively small. None of them looked to see if what I was asking for made sense and was the best way to handle what was needed.) I had a general idea of what I thought I needed to fix some access and drainage issues, but I'm not the expert. I needed someone to look at my ideas and then suggest the best solution. Max suggested some ideas which were much better than mine and saved me some money in the process. His team added a concrete walkway, a patio extension, and driveway extension. He laid the concrete an inch thicker than anyone else was going to do, and patched a long crack in a preexisting area. The results were perfect. He arrived the same day I asked for an estimate and showed up the following day immediately after I signed. He spent a lot of time on preparation: the base rock was very thick, rebar was laid out perfectly, etc., and the result was well worth it. He also noted some other drainage issues. Since I had already opened up the area, I purchased the materials needed and he installed the drain materials without additional charges. read more

I'm really glad I chose to hire Maximino! We had decided to remove half of our decaying deck that makes up most of our backyard. We had the old hot tub removed and the cracked cement under it removed as well. The team at MMA Rodriguez Concrete jumped into action and removed all of the extensive roots that had grown under the a previous broken slab and decking from a pine tree that we had removed. Max worked on converting my grass backyard into concrete. He removed the dirt and installed new concrete. He did a great job and finished the work on time with quality and cleaned up the area. He was very responsive and reachable whenever I called him during the project. It was overall a good experience through out project, from selecting the concrete type, color, and different options.
