Elias was very thorough and knowledgeable about what needed to be repaired and replaced. A day or so later I received the written estimate. We had 4 other companies quote us but RR felt like the right choice. They seemed to be the most realistic about what we needed and up front about how the job would be done, including any on the fly changes/repairs. We were not disappointed. They were great about communication from beginning to end. They took pictures of the work along the way and informed us of additional changes or repairs, which were handled on the spot with no additional charge. There was no guesswork or nickel and diming. They provided quality service and Ezequiel was on the job site throughout. They were respectful of our home, cleaned up after each day, and worked hard to complete in a couple days with permits as well as securing flashing around our HVAC and reinforcing gutters with additional screws. (Thanks to his handy drone camera, I could see for myself.) Not only bad for the tiles, but extremely dangerous to walk on! When wet, it's super slippery. Since we're selling our house, I didn't want not want any issues with the inspection (nor endanger the inspector). Carlos gave a quote range and was able to squeeze in the job the very next day (it took several hours, easily half the day), and before the forecasted rain! We saved for a while and, like most people, shopped around for quotes. We got quotes from 6 different roofers. We have a roughly 1600 sq ft home and were quoted upwards of $23K for a roof replacement by some companies. This was not including any potential dry rot replacement or gutters, of which we figured there may have been some dry rot. We were getting really stressed out not only because of the prices we were quoted, but the lack of connection as well. This was a huge investment on our part and, while perfectly cordial, most interactions felt surface-level. That was until we had the opportunity to meet Josue. You won't find anyone else who will work harder or care more about making sure you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process while also offering the most affordable prices. COST: More than reasonable. After we shopped around for quotes, he not only had the best price, but also the best value. Hands down the best "bang for your buck" if this is your top priority. While very conscientious of making sure no materials were wasted and walked us through every step of the process. Initially, we weren't sure which shingle color we would use and without hesitating, Josue offered to drop off several samples for us to use and compare so we could confidently select what we felt was best for us. The roof looks clean and is marvelously crafted. UNFORESEEN OBSTACLE: We did have a permit issue with the city regarding an overhang attachment to our home, but again, Josue went up to bat for us. I was very stressed out to hear we would not be able to move forward with this area of the house (not Josue's fault), and he calmly and patiently walked me through the process and told me not to worry that his crew could come back and knock out the area quickly at a later time. PERSONAL NOTE: Nowadays it feels rare to have such an exceptional experience with a company of any sort. It's a really big purchase and everything can admittedly seem stressful and you're worried about making such a large investment, but I'm happy to say that was not our experience with Josue and his team. Looked good, so I called and got an immediate response from Julio Jr. - He came out same day to assess the work I was requesting for our tile roof: clean the valleys and replace any broken tiles. - Also asked that our skylight sunshades be removed so I could clean them and store for winter. - Julio prepared a detailed proposal, including photos of his roof inspection. He also recommended additional work to make our home secure and ready for El Niño. - While I was not expecting to be able to have the extra work done at this time (redoing the failed paint on all my vents), the quote was affordable so it was an relief to be able to say 'Yes'! - You can see from the before and after photos the clean up was way past due.
