Having my gutters cleaned was way overdue. I went to Yelp and found that Ben's Window and Gutter Cleaning had so many five star reviews. I called Ben and he was able to drop by for a quote later that day. While we were walking around the exterior of my home, I asked Ben if he would be able to power wash the large amount of concrete in my front and back yard. The concrete was covered with 20 years worth of dark staining caused by dirt and weather. For the next two full days Ben cleaned my gutters and power washed all my concrete, restoring it to like new condition. Ben was on time and worked hard both days. HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!! I picked Ben's Window & Gutter Cleaning to clean my gutters due to his 5 star ratings. Unfortunately, I was not a recipient of good service like his other customers. I contacted this company to get an estimate for cleaning out the gutters on the front of my home. I made an appointment with Ben for the next morning at 7:30am. Red flag number one. When he didn't show up, after 30 minutes I called him to see what was up. He gave me an excuse of his new puppy getting out and him having to round him up. He asked me if I still wanted him to come out and I said yes. He showed up a few hours later and said it looked like I had a clog and gave me an estimate. I told him I was getting estimates from other companies and would call him if I decided to go with him. A week later since I didn't get any responses from other companies I had tried, I decided to call Ben back to book him for the job. Red flag number two. On the day of the appointment, he again didn't show up. I again waited 30 minutes beyond the appointment time, then called him to see if he was still coming. Another excuse, this time a neighbor of his needing "emergency" cleaning of their gutters. I told him I had been waiting for him to do MY job and he got snarky with me and said he would "drop everything" and come in a few hours. I told him this wouldn't work for me as I had another appointment to go to later, so I re-scheduled him for the next morning. I specifically asked him if he was going to show up and he said yes. Red flag number three. Third times the charm. He again didn't show up, nor did he have the courtesy to call me to say he wasn't coming or needed to re-schedule. At this point I was through with him. We have a very tall two-story white, woodsided house, and it gets dirty really easy. It had been about 12 months since we had cleaned it ourselves.
