Carolina was incredibly understanding and made me feel like any other client--no judgment, no awkwardness, just kindness and professionalism. She did a fabulous job, and I was so impressed with my brows. Because of my treatment, I wasn't able to return for my touch-up within their normal timeframe. After completing chemo, I called and spoke with Brad, explained my circumstances, and he was extremely understanding and graciously made an exception for me. When I returned to Carolina, I had lost all of my eyebrow hair. She once again did an amazing job. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears in my eyes because for the first time in five months, I felt like I looked like myself again. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. The service at Mila Aesthetics is impeccable, but what stands out even more is how kind, humble, compassionate, and understanding they are. There is no magic mascara or eyelash curler that would make my lashes look good. Falsies? Forget it...super inconvenient and messy with glue and getting the lash strip on your eye lid just right. I know I don't like looking sloppy. This is where Kimi, the most amazing eyelash artist ever comes in. Found her on Yelp! Thanks Yelpers :) My life is forever changed. My lashes are so on point, I use less eye makeup now (including eyeliner), and it really saves time getting ready. Trust me, your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, husband, or whoever it may be will be thankful. I've tried 2 of the 3 lash styles offered: 1) Super glam - The most popular choice. The true "mascara look." 2) Diva - The Y shaped lashes are 2 lashes fused into one for a fluffy, natural look. The third option are mink lashes, which I have not tried yet. You can also choose the length of your lashes, how much curl, and if you want longer at the ends. Back to Kimi, she is so diligent, precise, and gentle. Not to mention, she's fast! Her work is night and day compared to work done by other salons. Her booth at the Sola Salons is comfy and relaxing with pretty good music playing. I must ask her for her playlist next time. When it's time for the big reveal, you won't believe your eyes! I recommend keeping up with fills at least every 3 weeks and scheduling your next appointment at least 1 week in advance. So I came here and wow what a difference that made. The inside is very pretty and they have a little waiting area. When I came here, Christina took (and still does) care of me and she did an amazing job. She took her time making sure the lashes were flawless. Ever since then I have been coming to her for fills and I am always satisfied. The lashes lasts from 2-3 weeks depending on how well you take care of them. However, I took a break from getting my anils done for 4 months to allow them time to heal since they were paper thin. They also were charging me $5 for everything little thing. During pedicures, they would do callous remover without even asking if I wanted it and when I brough this up to their attention they brushed it off. BUT my updated review is for the call I just got from them. I have a trip coming up for my birthday next week so I made a Gel X appointment for 09/12/2026 at 11AM on August 23, 2026. I realized I wanted a pedicure as well. So I went on to book a second appointment for the same time as the Gel X, as I always have. I hate sitting at the salon for 2 hours. I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.
