This review is for a lash lift by Dessi. This was my FIRST…read moreever lash lift I came in for an appt on Saturday 9.12.26 Dessi lacked customer service skills. 0/5. She said are you Samya? She did not introduce herself, until I asked her name. She did not ask if I have been here before, how was my day, nada. She must have been having a bad day or this was her first job. Either way training in customer service needs to be addressed. The lash lift: 0/5 The lift was actually very pretty right after she was done, although as soon an my lashes were dry, and I made it home. I realized how horrendous they are. My right eye is soo curled that it sticks to my lid and it is bent at the tip. They have been extremely over curled or over processed. The manager Casandra has issued a refund . Please note that Dessi is a JR lash artist. I was unaware of their tiers of lash artist. If I had I would have known, I would've asked for a senior level artist to start. Overall: I will NEVER return here, my nail techs daughter used to work for this company and said she would never recommend this place either. The reason for 2 stars is because the Manager made it right and refunded me & the vibe of the salon was aesthetically pleasing.

There is no magic mascara or eyelash curler that would make my lashes look good. Falsies? Forget it...super inconvenient and messy with glue and getting the lash strip on your eye lid just right. I know I don't like looking sloppy. This is where Kimi, the most amazing eyelash artist ever comes in. Found her on Yelp! Thanks Yelpers :) My life is forever changed. My lashes are so on point, I use less eye makeup now (including eyeliner), and it really saves time getting ready. Trust me, your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, husband, or whoever it may be will be thankful. I've tried 2 of the 3 lash styles offered: 1) Super glam - The most popular choice. The true "mascara look." 2) Diva - The Y shaped lashes are 2 lashes fused into one for a fluffy, natural look. The third option are mink lashes, which I have not tried yet. You can also choose the length of your lashes, how much curl, and if you want longer at the ends. Back to Kimi, she is so diligent, precise, and gentle. Not to mention, she's fast! Her work is night and day compared to work done by other salons. Her booth at the Sola Salons is comfy and relaxing with pretty good music playing. I must ask her for her playlist next time. When it's time for the big reveal, you won't believe your eyes! I recommend keeping up with fills at least every 3 weeks and scheduling your next appointment at least 1 week in advance. Keep up with her work on instagram: @dollhousewaxlash

However, I took a break from getting my anils done for 4 months to allow them time to heal since they were paper thin. They also were charging me $5 for everything little thing. During pedicures, they would do callous remover without even asking if I wanted it and when I brough this up to their attention they brushed it off. BUT my updated review is for the call I just got from them. I have a trip coming up for my birthday next week so I made a Gel X appointment for 09/12/2026 at 11AM on August 23, 2026. I realized I wanted a pedicure as well. So I went on to book a second appointment for the same time as the Gel X, as I always have. I hate sitting at the salon for 2 hours. I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.
