My mom and I used to go to another nail salon, and it was starting to just be ok. I told my mom…read morethat getting our nails done should be something we look forward to, a pampering experience. I read the reviews on Snow Nails and I told her we had to try it. The first visit, was great. My girl Anna, asked me if this was our first time there and I told her that it was. She then told me that it was her first day too, and asked if that made me nervous. I told her, that it didn't and you have to start somewhere. She asked me if I'd like something to drink, and then she started the work on my nails. I'm thinking the whole time that she's new... and holy wow, she was doing an amazing job. She teased me, at the end telling me that she had actually been there for a long time. I laughed and told her I was thinking that, for her first time, she did a freaking amazing job! After she was finished she massaged my arms and hands, and put a smelly good lotion on to finish up. We have been going back here every few weeks and my nails still look fantastic even by the middle of the 3rd week. I just get them done by then because they have grown out so much! I have been to 3 different people and so has my mom. EVERYONE here is fantastic. We have had a wait a couple of times, but if you put your name down in the book, you can always go wander around. When you come back your place is still saved in line. You can call and make an appointment too if you need t get in and out. Next week we are trying out our first pedicure! I can't wait!

Now, I'm the farthest thing from a cheater on either account, but I had a weak moment when I was offered a rush interview two days away, in Atlanta. My stylist was off the day I found out & I was pressed for time so I went to a place that will remain nameless.. (unless I do another review just for them..) to have my hair quickly shaped up again. To my dismay I left looking worse than when I went in. Now as far as the other stylists go in the salon, I can't attest for them since I've been loyal to only one. They are very nice, but have never been the ones to make me beautiful after I've let 6 inches of roots cascade down my previously blonde hair. :) After the straying to the not so great place I called April, my stylist, defeated to see if she could squeeze me in the day before I flew out for my interview. She was off, but knew how important this was to me so she made some major arrangements and got me in for an appointment. This woman is so great, she had me come to her HOUSE because she knew how much this meant to me. I did the walk of shame into her house, but she fixed me right up again. This is obviously not a normal practice of a hair stylist, but April goes above and beyond and it has meant the world to me. I have gotten to the point to where I can go in there looking like a train wreck and come out looking like a Mercedes. I tell her to do whatever she wants and I always come out feeling amazing. I can get a cut, multiple colors & my eyebrows done for an extremely awesome price. If she leaves I'd follow her anywhere because you just don't find such amazing customer service as what I've found with her. April is one of the few who I've found that doesn't view this as just a job. She takes pride in making you feel great about yourself, and if you don't she won't let you leave until you do. I'm always reading where women are looking for a new stylist, and whenever I can I send them to April. She is awesome in every sense of the word and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to see her. I would give her double the stars on here if I were able to. She is the best, and I'll never do the walk of shame again. :)

Okay fast forward too now…read more I can't remember her name...Lindsey I believe, not sure. BUT THE WAY SHE SLAYED MY TOESSSS BAABBYYYY!!!! I mean I should start a foot fetish channel. I got the regular pedicure. She scrubbed, massaged, painted her way into my heart. I thought I needed acrylics but she showed me I did not. If her name is not Lindsey I'll update it. BUT THANK YOU MA'AM. I went from looking like I walked through the valley of the shadow of death to walking on sunshine. I would say my only thing was I wished I would have told her to scrub my feet a little harder to make it more soft. Dead skins a mother! But either way she did a great job

This turned out to be the BEST mani I've ever had. I wish I had gotten the girl's name who took care of me. She was awesome. As the Fairfield location is not convenient for me at all, I'l definitely try the Milford store to see if they are just as good. Almost two weeks later, my manicure is still looking good! Highly recommend.
