Scored 10 stars, A+++, look no more once you visit Astoria World Manor. Accessible location, all…read moreinclusive dining, appetizers, specialty drinks, fresh (3) tier birthday cakes, wide selection of menu items to cover all your guests needs. Real talk, I researched a year in advanced, priced out every venue for my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday and the minute I stepped into the Manor I knew I was done looking. The elegance, space, staff, accommodations, and price are unsurpassed. People take it from me I know value when I see it. The location is safe and impressive as well. Most venues near the city are triple the price and after your event your guests are left fending for themselves in unsafe, isolated locations. The Astoria Manor provides security throughout your event, the catering staff is on point, and keeps your event running on time. True Professionals, especially my catering manage Angie, who took care of every detail and kept me informed throughout. I saved the best for last, Mr. Vicente Rojel, Managing director, is the man to see. I relied on him for everything considering my tight budget, he made it all happen. A true Star when it comes to accommodating your requests and keeps constant contact via email. So there you have it. Truly a stress free event so you can relax and enjoy your party!!!!!!!

This was a nice little place for son first birthday party. He enjoyed him self along with family…read moreand friends. The hall was just the right size to accomodate all the guest. Equipped with a decent size kitchen. A bathroom as well. We had a clown come in as well ,with some face painting, as his favorite sesame Street character cookie monster. His party was all sesame Street theme. I have to admit the hall was pricey, we used it during the pandemic. But overall me and my family had a good time . My son May not remember it but we have the videos and photos to show him when he gets older . Memories to last a line time. Josiah's first birthday party.

Skylight was a great location for my engagement party. The owner Anthony was always pleasant,…read moreresponsive and available to answer all of our questions. He even let us come back on multiple occasions to see the hall before finally making a decision. They have a small parking lot available in the back, round tables and/or rectangular tables are provided, tablecloths and/or chair covers can be purchased for an additional charge, upgrades like lounge style high tables, fancier chairs, photobooth and decorating services are available as well. I will say compared to the other places we checked out, Skylight was very well maintained and modern looking with nicely painted walls and contemporary mirrors. The bathrooms were super clean and this location had a small kitchen with a window, which was perfect for our bartender to serve drinks. The price was also affordable and they provide clean up for you. The reason why I didnt give 5 stars is bc of the owners mother in law (the decorator). She was seen at my event on multiple occasions lingering around and I was informed she asked for food. Really?!... Honestly, I would have preferred to not have her in the background of my pictures and clearly in my videos as well. It was tasteless and I would have respected a check in here and there not hawking around like we were throwing a children's party. Oh and the icing on the cake... she threw out our custom engraved champagne glasses bc she was in a rush to clean up. Overall my party was a success and my MOH and mother decorated the hall beautifully within the 2 hour (prior to party time) slot they were given. There was enough room for a photobooth, DJ, cake table, main table, tables for 60 guests and there was still space left for a few people to buss the Electric Slide.

A review post rescheduled event:…read more Overall, our guests were comfortable, the sound system was good, the room was clean and airy with high ceilings and needed minimal decorations. There was room for our food and sweets tables as well as for a small dance floor which was appropriate for our intimate event with close family and friends. As an event space, the sky tower room delivered all of the things we were looking for. ---------------------- The space was clean, easy to access from the Highway, there was street side parking for our guests as long as they arrived early. The general manager Shanita(?) was there cleaning from a prior event and greeted us at the door at 2pm. It was good that we started the event later (4pm) than our reservation started (2pm) because our DJ had to work with event staff and call the owner because our DJ was having trouble connecting to the system. We followed up with staff onsite to make sure we revived the ice, serving trays, and table linens that were included in our package. We decided not to follow up about using the projector/tv screens after being brushed off when we asked for the other included amenities, but there were two large flatscreen TVs behind the sound booth. There was another event happening at the same time in the smaller room next door and we could only hear them (and assume that they could also hear us) if the front doors were open. At one point a guest from the other party clogged one of the toilets so it was shut down. The site manager was there to direct people to the right room and to shut down the room that was out of service. We started cleanup at 8 pm and we did our best to clear the space of debris that was generated by our event. The contract was very specific about prohibited activities (IE: no tape. No confetti etc) so we wanted to be sure to keep up our end of the deal especially because some of our decorative balloons popped and made a mess. The manager came in at 9pm and let us know that she would handle the rest if we got our items out of the space. We (clearly) did not have the best time negotiating the terms of the rescheduled event especially when we wanted to switch event spaces. Beautiful site. Lovely amenities.

When you are having these types of events the only people remember are the entertainment and the food. Steel did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal and MC Ricky was absolutely incredible. Just book MC Ricky don't think about it just do it. Every person was on the dance floor. The vibe in the room was so much fun! The decorations and decor were perfect. Richie was a pleasure to do business with and his staff was more then accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our guest with food allergies were taken care of. We also wound up having to have our service there prior to the party and he was able to turn our idea into reality making the space feel more appropriate for that part of the event. Which turned into a blessing in disguise as the party was on the minute the service concluded. The stress free transition made everyone truly enjoy the party. The added bonus of the all inclusive (except the swag) meant the overall cost was less and zero headaches as there were no vendors to have coordinate with. Forget about the traditional sit down catering halls. With the cocktail style dinner service the party never had to stop so you could eat. Out party could not have gone any smoother and most important everyone had a great time.
