Blessed Sacrament Girl Scout Troops 2389/2568/2835 were happy to come together, not just to celebrate the Daisies/Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes/Seniors who were bridging to the next level in Girl Scouts, but we also had the privilege to celebrate four young ladies who were bridging from Ambassadors to Adults - effectively graduating from our Girl Scouting Program under Girl Scouts of Greater New York. These young ladies have dedicated up to 13 years to Girl Scouting and have been friends/sisters to each other through the majority of this journey. We consider these graduating girls our "CORE" - our troops' Girl Scouting program was built upon their ongoing participation and they have set a wonderful example for their Girl Scout Sisters coming up behind them - doing their "best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout." just as the Girl Scout Law deems they should The decorations were IMPECCABLE and BEAUTIFULLY DONE - far exceeding our expectations! Nora really brought the vision together, we just had to add a few personal touches when we arrived (a banner and a picture addition to the table centerpieces). It was really an elegant and elevated affair - just what we were looking for! Nora and the staff at Studio 17 Bushwick treated all of our guests with respect and professionalism second to none. Nora was extremely responsive to all questions and requests - I was happy to have a partner like her in planning this event. She really matched my own level of organization which was super helpful. Contract signing and payment schedule was super easy. And I received my security deposit back almost immediately after our event was over. The next time I need a small yet elegant event space - I will definitely look to Studio 17 as a FIRST CHOICE!

Ms. Nora was so kind and helpful throughout my entire experience. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. If any of you are like me and not skilled with decorating, Ms Nora has your back ! Her skills exceeded my fiancé and I expectations. The staff was extremely kind and outgoing. This venue followed all the cover guidelines and took everyones temperature and name at the door (guest list). My guest had a great time! Ms. Nora helped my family so much, she even suggested I inquire about the new nail/hair/beauty salon which is located on the same block . The place hooked my nails up, I felt so beautiful! I would definitey recommend this venue to everyone I know. Ms Nora is was so easy going and has great taste. She made sure we had everything we needed. If i could rate this place 1,000 stars i would. What a wonderful experience! - Karisma

They are receiving four stars from me because my review has little to do with the venue and a lot about the wonderful experience I shared here. My Naija colleague invited me to the birthday celebration of her friend. As usual for me I wanted to say no but I wasn't allowed to. I'm so glad I went!!! I was proposed to no less than five times! HahahahahaJajajajaja. Men of all ages, HEIGHT, weight, size and charm complimented me on my "beauty-O. I like your hair-O. If possible I would like to get to know about you-O. Sister, you dance sweet-O." Ladies, if ever you need an ego boost, go to a Nigerian event. A few times I jokingly asked "wouldn't your wife mind?" The answers were astounding, and I thought I'd heard all the lines before. One asked if I was Jamaican, I replied you've never heard me speak before why do you ask that? He said "because you dance like Jamaican hot ghul-O." I didn't t know how to take that. I think he was trying to compliment me so.... Okay-O. Getting to Lovely To Remember was super easy. Even if you drive, once you wanna drink and you're coming from BKLYN, you can park your car and take the train. Liberty Ave station is about two blocks from the venue and I used trains both ways even though coming back was around the fours in the AM. Walking on Liberty and Atlantic avenues seemed safe as there were a lot of activity: traffic, cop cars, pedestrians, open delis etc even at this time. The venue is small but use of the space was pretty smart. They were able to pack quite a lot of tables and chairs into the small space. I was amazed at the large amount of folks that fit comfortably in there that evening. Decorations as can occur at these events was NOT overdone. Just simple and elegant. I didn't eat food as I don't usually eat at these events BUT Naija custom is two drinks for each one you order. Maybe they were trying to get me drunk. Hahahahahaha. I'm Trini thank you very much. The possibility of me getting drunk from my three turn to six drinks and water is funny Hahahahahahaha. My friend who invited me stayed with her two sodas per order and I thought now THAT would hurt me more. LOL. As I speak of drinks, that's my one issue with this space. One toilet isn't adequate. Maybe they can squeeze in one more. That's it for me about LTR decorations. Oh and my next personal celebration must be of a Naija persuasion. I want folks to bathe me with paper money. Let it rain-O! The End.
