My band played here this past Friday night and we had a blast. Waterview at The Bayview is really a classy restaurant and venue. There is convenient parking for the restaurant across the street too. We were playing on the patio where they have a tremendous outdoor bar staffed by very talented and well organized bartenders. They were all on top of their game taking care of the many patrons. They have plenty of dining space outdoors as well and a tremendous amount of outdoor seats and couches to relax while you listen to the music and dance. I decided to order the spicy roll and the Steve roll while on a break. I noticed their sushi earlier and it looked amazing. The 2 rolls I had were just loaded with tuna and were huge. There were 8 pieces per roll and when I finished, I was stuffed. The rolls were so plump and full of flavor, just amazing. Along with the 2 rolls, there was a nice serving of a salad that was made of seaweed and grab in a sesame oil, so delicious. This place is really awesome and a great venue to enjoy the outdoors, especially on a nice summer evening! I highly recommend the Waterview at The Bayview! read more

We had our wedding at this venue, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their space is beautiful and their food is incredible. But their underrated strong-point is how organized and accommodating they were. The weeks leading up to my wedding they were so organized. They consistently let me know what I still needed to do and helped me in every way possible to have what I wanted. I'm still speechless about how incredible they were the day of. They coordinated absolutely everything. They made sure the groom and I were having a good time and wrapped up so much food for us - they truly went above and beyond. Awesome location, this place has a beautiful view from just about anywhere. The staff was very acomodating, they really took care of us, I was there celebrating my friends 60 birthday. The food was very good and Anthony, our server went out of his way to help us. On the rest of the place, people were enjoying their self's with a great bar and an awesome atmosphere. read more

The Bayview is a beautiful venue! The food was great the newly renovated building is beautiful. The only downfall is that there isn't coverage in the roof for ceremonies/an indoor area for ceremonies. My friend who got married and thank goodness got lucky with no rain was told to buy her own tent...... I thought that was really ballsy to say to a bride considering how expensive a wedding already is. There should definitely be some type of moving roof of some sort so the clients have a choice and don't have to worry about crazy weather. Just had our wedding at the Bayview. To start, the staff was AMAZING. Lauren our sales manager was beyond great. She made you feel like you were the only wedding she was dealing with. Just wish she would have stay for most of the affair since she was needed. The treatment was beyond special. Her attention to detail was astounding. Our bridal room attendant Ashley was the most incredible person I have met in a long time! She was so extremely attentive to EVERYTHING my husband and I needed!! Especially me lol .. just not enough words to say about her. Our Maitre d, Tara was also phenomenal she made sure everyone was happy and took care of all the details. My cons for the Bayview unfortunately was the food, and lighting. Preferably the main courses. The Cocktail Hour was amazing. However the main courses were not very good. Risotto was tasteless. Also, make sure the lighting is right. The ambient lighting kept changing colors and it really upset me because my ceremony lights were not what I wanted. One thing I will say.. HIRE A MORE PROFESSIONAL SECURITY GUY!!!! He was extremely rude to my son and all he was trying to do was come in for family pics as he was running a bit late. I hosted a baby shower in the Veranda room for a friend at this venue.  The views are breathtaking.  What can I say other than this venue made the process of planning this shower from another state stress free.  Samantha was pleasant and made sure all decisions were made timely, questions were promptly answered, and last minute changes were accommodated.  I was able to meet her the day of the event and she was just as sweet in person. Our Maitre D, Jackie, was professional, courteous, helpful and made general suggestions on setup.  I never looked up and didn't see Jackie.  She was attentive to the parents to be and to any needs during the event. Jill and Fayzi who were also working our event jumped in to assist in the setup. They rock!!  I absolutely can't say enough about how much I appreciated their assistance.   Overall, the venue and the team delivered and went above and beyond my expectations.  If there is any doubt about this venue just book it.  You won't be disappointed.  Samantha, Jackie, Jill and Fayzi - thank you again for all your efforts. read more

Definitely A great restaurant to dine for all occasions. We visited for mothers day this year party of 5 lovely table set up spacious.Food and service were amazing. The view from the roof was awesome!! We had a surf turf meal even the kids said their food was great. Came today for coffee & dessert ordered cheese cake and apple pie ... got my desserts,but no coffee what a disappointment... I wanted to eat the dessert with coffee so never got it just ruined it all yh n I tasted the cheese cake it was awful tasted old. Also tasted like everything in the fridge it like it was stored in a fridge with other foods and absorbed other flavors one bite only was disgusting . Why would I spend money for a wedding there if you can't even serve me coffee and dessert properly.. never again. read more

The restaurant, Waterview? Bayview? Whatever view you call it you're looking at a horrible meal. Not much fish on the menu, despite the location. Fish tacos ($20 appetizer) were promising but so doused in cole slaw that it ruined them. $17 Brussels sprouts were sickly sweet and greasy. Fish and chips were soggy, both the fish and the chips, which were actually house made potato chips, not fries. A bag of Lay's would have been better. Prime rib sandwich also came with soggy fries and was slathered in so much chipotle Mayo that you'd thought it was a mayo sandwich. There are better places to eat on the nautical mile! read more

I was at Bayview on Father's with my family. It took over one hour for a server to take our drink orders. Every employee ignored our table every time we tried to get someone's attention. Finally, a server came to our table to take our orders she was extremely rude and unpleasant. Then it took another two hours for our food, no one checked in on our table or kept us informed on why our food took forever. The food was cold, with small portions and bland. Recently attended 2 parties at The Bayview. One was in the larger catering room upstairs and the other was in the smaller room downstairs. Both parties were out of this world! Hidden gem with the most beautiful space you can imagine right there on the water. they have a rooftop, a first floor party room and covered patio, and a huge second floor ballroom that's all windows. Everything newly renovated and just beautiful! The owner, our event manager and our maitre d' couldn't have taken Better care of us, the food was fantastic and so much of it! I was invited to the Bayview to celebrate my cousins graduation from college at Loyola U on 06/ 03/ 23. Upon driving up and seeing the venue from the outside, I was really impressed. Upon entering the building we were greeted by a very friendly gent who supplied us with our wristbands. The entire place was immaculate including the bathroom. The entire wait staff were friendly and helpful. Two people stood out as going above and beyond. Those people were Ashley and Jackie. Ashley supplied us with helpful information and answered all of our questions from the time we entered the building till the time we left. She was pleasant and friendly and always had a smile for us. I have trouble walking so it took me time to get to the main ballroom where dinner was served. When Jackie and Ashley heard that there was no room left for us at any of the tables they quickly brought out a new table with plenty of chairs and set the table in record time with the help of another gentleman and we enjoyed our dinner. The food was delicious. My compliments to the chefs! It is rare when you don't feel like you are annoying the wait staff with requests, but I did not get that vibe here the entire night. Feel free to choose the rooftop for cocktail hour. It was spacious and had a full bar. I would definitely recommend The Bayview for any and all of your special events. read more
