In homage to the Girl Scout cookie - a Samoa Cronut that has all the buttery layers of a croissant with the springy chewiness of a donut, coated in tiny flecks of coconut adhered with delicate fresh-made caramel and a chocolate drizzle. It's divine! Also extraordinary: a classic cinnamon roll covered in a generous layer of buttery cream cheese frosting, every bit as satisfying as homemade, without the hassle. For here or there, a Brown Butter Cookie with chocolate chips the consistency of s'more's and a healthy sprinkle of sea salt that's crunchy and surprising in the best way. I CANNOT BRAG ON THIS ENOUGH! There is a touch of balsamic that brightens the strawberry. The sprig of thyme is beautiful as well as tasty. I thought this might be a sweet pastry, but it's actually savory, in the very best way. The pastry is so flaky and crisp. My dreams will be full of this for years to come. Now let me get to the latte. It was SO RICH AND SMOOTH!!!! I got a sugar-free-vanilla latte--expecting nothing special. It was the best cup of joe I've had in a long time! I love to drink the foam so I removed the lid and was surprised to see the adorable art. This place is TASTY! If I'm ever back in Topeka, I can't wait to come back.

The inside was charming, and you could tell everything was made in house. From the freshly baked breads to the treats on display. We ordered a few scones, a quiche, a chicken salad, and of course, two dirty chai lattes. The food was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. The chai lattes didn't taste like chai at all, which was disappointing given they were nearly $15 for both. I mentioned it to an employee, who simply explained how they were made, but didn't seem too concerned at first. Thankfully, after a short while, she brought us two new ones and those were actual chai lattes. Much better! The place did feel a little disorganized, like the staff wasn't quite in sync, but maybe that was just my impression. Aside from the initial coffee mishap, everything else was great!
