Jeannie is a professional. my nail beds are intact and the shape of my natural nails looks beautiful; I can't speak to their mani artistry because I've been going to another salon. but I do trust their removals, having gone twice now. both times the technicians were professional and I left the salon happy. I'm so frustrated that after two trips and two different charges, I'm still unhappy w my nails and probably going to go somewhere else today to have them completely re-done. Initially I asked for a fill & chocolate glazed gel polish on top of my already shaped nails. The technician said chrome would be an extra $20 so I said that's ok and agreed to just do a chocolate color. This cost me $51 for a fill and gel polish. Reasonable I suppose. Within hours of getting home, many of the tips of my nails were chipping. Upon this finding, I also noticed very crooked re-shaping. I don't normally do this, but I called and asked if I could go back in to get them fixed. I asked for a color change as I felt the polish or color was not good quality and would definitely not last another 3 weeks. They said I'd have to pay $35 for that. He insisted he'd fix it for me... he added THREE layers of more polish and top coat and now I have ridiculously thick and clumpy looking nails. I spoke up and said "they're too thick" and he tried filing the sides but that didn't fix the real issue... the nails should have been drilled down before adding more layers of polish. At this point I was defeated and left. & charged an additional $10 for the "fix". Now I'm here a day later and they're peeling and WET under the top coat... about to go spend prob another $50 to get them re done asap as I can't imagine what wet polish for weeks will do to my nails. I had a feeling this was the case as they did not feel right... they felt heavy and uncomfortable. idk why I keep going anywhere other than where I KNOW I'll be happy. read more

whoever the bigger guy is with the gold ring should not do nails anymore. horrible experience. he was so rough, literally kept cutting my skin with the electric file, you can see in the picture that the skin around my toes look raw. they hurt so bad! he made all my nails weird shapes, and then look at the paint on the toes, yes it's gel. he wasn't going to say anything, he rubbed it off with acetone, got the paint all over my skin and started scraping the paint off my skin with his bare nails. he skipped the massage that came with the pedicure and I asked him about it he ignored me. At the end I looked closely at my nails and told him these do not look good and he told me to "come back tomorrow" and walked away to the back. He was going to charge me full price, and I said no you need to discount something, he told me no because I can come back tomorrow, and I said "no I don't think I'l be returning, can you at least take off the price of the gel add on" and he did but was very rude about it. this is horrible. never returning. read more

Update: Cut on heel is more than a scrape. It's an open cut, that's painful. Do not recommend this place. Avoid at all costs. Pros- clean, spacious, no strong odor or fumes of nail polish. Music is not blasting. Workers are friendly. They all wore masks. Got a Mani/Pedi. Overall the service was ok. I wasn't rushed, but I think that had to do with it being slow. Cons: my left heel and side of left toe was left bleeding, from over scraping/buffing for the callous removal. See pics. Sorry, hated to have post these. I didn't notice until I got up to leave. Considering there was nothing they could do and I didn't want to engage in any negative interaction, I left. Would've been pointless. Cost: $65 not including tip. Decided to check out a nail salon near me on Dec 29th for a walk-in pedicure and a splurge full set of acrylic nails to start my new year with something different. It has been 3 years since having acrylic nails and I was excited to do spend money on myself for a change (like $135 with tip to be exact for both services). But I guess I went to the wrong nail salon it is less than 10 days and my middle nail on right hand popped off SMH! The initial visit was okay the location was not to busy the young lady that did my pedicure was very thorough and the guy that did my nails was nice and was spent a good amount of time doing my nails. I picked the coffin shape the length was a bit longer than I'm accustomed to when starting a new set but again the plan was to do something different. My husband suggested I go in and let the salon make the repair. It has been my experience that one questionable time is one to many when getting nail services. I was a walk in. I initially requested just a pedicure, then a manicure. Pedicure started I picked my colors then I upgraded to a dip. Being on the phone and before I realized it they started on my nails. I was never offered a hand wash or hand dip in water/ soap. My cuticles awful, yet my nails were dip. When I addressed the issue I was told it would done afterwards. Well they only thing was done was cuticle oil. DONT EVER GO TO SANDRA. SHE WAS HORRIBLE. Jenny was ok. She did my feet. I had the worse experience at this place with Tan. Since I'm new in the city, I walked in to ask about the rates and services they offer. I requested a pedicure and a dip refill. Pedicure went great. As far as my nails. The nightmare begins: He applied 2 coats of the dip then applied the clear coat. He comes back with the gel machine and I originally asked no gel application because I'm allergic. He polished it and told me to wait 5 min. I received an urgent call from my boss so I had to take it in my car. Ok, I take full responsibility for the 2 nails that needed repair but he ended up taking them all off and re-polished them. I was asked to wash my hands with soap. All my nails went from grey yo white film on top of each nail! He blamed me for leaving too early and told me it was my fault. Really! At this point he had an attitude with me so while my nails were re-apply for the 3rd time, he was shaping his nails like he didn't care. I also asked him why my fingers are scaled and peeling? Again, he blamed me! Omg! Are you kidding me! At this point I asked for Jeff about my experience. Tan tells me that he's new, he doesn't know anything.. really!
