I am a remodel contractor. Do not use MJ Granite and Stone. They filled my house with granite dust. Because they fabricated granite within 10 feet of my front door and had NO PLASTIC OR TAPE to make sure dust did not go into house. AND did not keep front door closed. They also ran extension cords into house to run their machines, which prevented the door from closing all the way. So all day long dust keep blowing into my house. Unbelievable! ALSO, they scratched my new stainless steel sink. They claim its mastic (glue) that they spilled on the sink. Finally, check out the seam on the counter top. You tell me if you would have approved the gap with a1/8 inch caulk line. See attached pictures. You can do better. They get a D+ read more

My review is a little late, but I wanted to drop in. We hired MJ Granite to install a new sink. We have an older home and our sink was made out of cast iron steel or something. It was bulky, heavy and just rusting out from underneath the sink. It needed a complete overhaul. We bought a sink from Home Depot thinking it would be simple replacement. But of course, its never easy. It needed a custom install because our granite had to be cut. I was looking everywhere and couldn't find a company until I found MJ Granite. They were so great. Quick response time. The owner Cesar came out to see the project and gave us an estimate. In a few days his team came out and got the job done. Our garbage disposal was all rusted and I didn't know we'd need a new one of those too. I only bought the sink itself. But they ran to costco for me to get a new one. Not sure what is going on with this company. I had an appointment with Maria back in mid November but she didn't show up. She called later and rescheduled. She then sent someone else a few days later. I was supposed to get a quote right after Thanksgiving for my floors and counter tops. The quote never came. Seems like a nice company to work with, but a heads up would be nice so that I could move on to someone else. read more

I was in need of a quartz slab and fabrication for my two bathrooms. My situation was a bit complicated because I had an additional slab that I only needed fabrication on as well. Maria was such a wonderful help with customer service. Because we were doing our own install she wanted to ensure the measurements were correct so she offered for her team to bring the slabs to my house in Temecula to fabricate on site. Not only did they show up on time, but were beyond friendly and helpful. They ensured the measurements were correct and did a great fabrication. The quartz I purchased from a picture (covid time) from them was exactly what I chose. During the whole process I never had to leave my house. To top off the experience, they hosed my driveway down after fabrication to ensure that no mess was left! I would leave 7 stars if I could! read more

I had new granite kitchen countertops installed this past week and I love the the way everything turned out. The fabricators did an excellent job, the two plumbers did a great job with measuring and cutting the holes for the faucet, drinking faucet, soap dispenser, air gap and the giant sink installation. Next the demolition crew really knew what they were doing with removing all the granite, I was so worried about the granite next to the back splash, not one tile got destroyed...unbelievable! Then came the granite countertops, the two guys did a wonderful job on laying the granite down in the exact position it should be, they also took time cleaning the granite that made it really shine. All the workers gave 100% even with their clean up after their work. Then there is Mitzy who came out to take the measurements, she was so pleasant to work with all the way through the project, she would always return my text messages, emails and phone calls in a timely matter...so thank you Mitzy with all your patience with me, I really appreciate it! I recently purchased a home in Menifee that I wanted to do some renovations on. Since I was moving from another county, I did not know anyone in the area, but it was important to me that I work with a local, family-owned business. I first walked into MJ Granite looking for quartz countertops. I saw that they also did floors and carpets. I ended up having my kitchen and 2 bathroom countertops and the entire flooring of the house, with carpeting in 2 bedrooms done. Iris Edwards was my project manager and I can't say enough about what a WONDERFUL experience I had, from the assistance to choosing all of the colors and patterns, sinks, faucet, etc., down to the very final detail. I had a very specific time frame to complete the renovations, and Iris was amazing at coordinating everything, even with my painter. We had Cesar give us an estimate on replacing large counter tops in bathrooms with quartz tops. His estimate was very competitive. We signed the contract late Friday afternoon and Caesar had his crew in early Monday morning to demo the old tops and measure for the new ones. Tuesday, they brought the new tops in and installed them. These guys are true craftsmen! They actually cut the pieces in our driveway and brought them in to fit them all in place. I haven't physically seen the counter top they put in for me. It's in a rental unit that far away from me. the pictures look nice and the Tenant was happy. I was however un happy with some business practices. They told me that it had to set for 24 hours before the sink could get hooked up and my regular Plummer was not available the next day only the day it was installed, and the tenant had to wait 2 days. I didn't want to leave them with out a sink. . I asked them about the price of their Plummer. Of corse he was available and did the hook up the same day as the install when they had told me 24 hours. My regular Plummer could have done it for a lot less. I paid a good size deposit and sent the remainder with a check through bill pay. That was a Thursday. On sat i got a text that if the check was not there on Monday that we're going to put a contractor lean on my property. I didn't appreciate being threatened. They simply could have asked me for proof that the check was sent and I would have given it to them gladly. I was not happy with there business practice so I will not use them again.
