Sadly, I will not be coming back to this place. I came to do my nails (French tip) with Lisa. Barely a week in my tips were turning brown, and the paint was cracking! I had to wear it like this to the event I was going to And TO My job. The last time I addressed this problem Christina said it was the heat from flat ironing my hair. This time it's my fault bc of "chemicals I'm using". (No I did not use any heat or hair dye in my hair and I don't tan!) when I texted Christina how can I fix it she said come in and so I did. When I got there I can tell the atmosphere was different. They were asking if I dyed my hair, did I go tanning, and I told them again NO. they kept talking in between questions in their native tongue I started getting uncomfortable at that point. At the end I got charged with another fee of $30 after I spent over $100 the last time I did my nails. I will not be back. Thank you but no thank you.

I usually go to Kate or Nikki, but I've also had my nails done by Betty and Amy as well. You can tell that everyone here is very thorough and don't rush and my sets last for a long time and personally, I've never experienced any nails breaking or have been dissatisfied with the service or results. I also love that I don't feel pressured for a certain service or style like I have at other salons and they've even recommended certain colors or add-ons to enhance the vision I'm going for - whether it be a slightly different color to prevent fading or a color that might pop better against my skin. I'm not usually a design girly but here I feel like I can trust Kate and Nikki to try something different that maybe I don't have a specific vision for. I'm not one for super long nails either but the short almond suits my nail beds really well and because of how the staff does my nails, I feel like it isn't bothersome until I need to get a new set. The aesthetic of the salon is super clean and bright, making it feel relaxing and luxurious at the same time. I also feel like the price is pretty reasonable compared to what I've heard other salons charging. Since I started going here I have not regretted it and definitely recommend.

I needed a a gel builder fill with designs and for my first visit at V Nail Studio, I'm very impressed and left feeling very satisfied! The salon is bright, clean and well decorated, making it feel very inviting. These things are important because that's how you know they'll really take care of you! That and also the amount of polish and design variety they have is super important. Hailey was my nail tech and she was very kind and helpful when it came to selecting the polish colors for the design I requested. It was so nice to get her recommendations & expertise because sometimes you just don't know what colors to choose based on the reference photo when the nail techs make you choose the polishes on your own. Throughout the process, she was quick while carefully and meticulously worked on cleaning, shaping, filing and painting my nails, giving me the most beautiful almond shape and polish just how I like it. As for the design, she did a great job based on the reference photo and I can't be more happy with it! If you're thinking about going here, just make your appointment already. She did a very basic job. She barely did any work on my nails before starting powder and didnt even buff down the powder. No massage either. I was charged $50 for this and I would not pay more than $30 max for something like this. After i expressed concern that $50 is a lot especially for no acrylic nails and just painting my nails .... she started talking in Vietnamese to her coworker ( most likely talking crap lol ). After 25 mins of waiting, the front desk lady gave me a bowl to start soaking my hands and she said "they're coming soon." Chloe, my nail technician, was very patient during the removal process despite the big jewels flying everywhere as she was filing it off. After showing her a photo of the new design I wanted, she skillfully delivered a pretty finished product that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, one of the butterfly wings broke after I got home, but Chloe was able to schedule a free fix after I contacted her. The salon accepts Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal as payment methods. I highly recommend coming here for quality Japanese nails.

Japanese gel is supposed to last much longer and doesn't lift. I immediately requested an appt. (it was my first time using this yelp option!). I answered some automated questions about the service I was interested in (nail art), dates I was available for an appt., who I'd like to make an appt. with (I chose Janice bc she had more reviews), and uploaded photos of inspo nails. I was messaged back in a timely matter to confirm the appt. I also inquired about the price (included a photo of the nails i wanted) to know what to expect with nail art. I was quoted $70-$75 (without extensions). Fast forward to my 11am appt. a few days after our interaction.. I arrive 10 min early, but the shop is completely closed. The sign says they are open at 10am, so I'm confused, like maybe I'm at the wrong place or?? I call, a girl apologizes saying someone should be there shortly. Ok, not a huge deal. I thought I would be getting my nails done by Janice, since that's who I chose in my appt. request, but Yumi was the one who opened up the shop and ended up doing my nails. She was really sweet and easy to talk to. For my nails, I wanted the design from the photo, but without the accent nail. I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails bc I feel like it wasn't as precise as in my inspo photo, but it was decent enough. When I went to pay she told me my total was $89, which caught me off guard bc according to our messages, I was quoted $70-$75, which when I told her, she said "I said it would be AROUND $70-$75." Why give a price range and not honor it? $14 is a big difference. Anyway, I'm not one to cause a scene so I paid, tipped, and left feeling like I was taken advantage of. 5 days after getting my nails done, the gel has already started lifting/ peeling. I'm even more disappointed and probably would not come back.
