Food was incredibly bland - really, just no flavor. It's been there for years...this was our first, and last, time ordering from Myoshi.

Solid Chinese take out spot. Ordered a few items to go and everything was pretty good.

This place is by no means a 5 star restaurant. I'm rating it five stars bc it is what it should be…read moreand as a local I'm often let down by a lot of the restaurants in banner elk (china house not being one of them). They are your average take out Chinese place but the food is good and the staff have great customer service! Highly recommend the sesame chicken and fried dumplings get it every time!

The staff was super friendly and thankful, the man at the register even gave me extra fortune cookies for free! Beware, the prices have changed from the past menu photos, however, I've included up to date pics of the menu. I got a small chicken lo mein and a krab ton wonton appetizer. For $5.50, I got 8 of the krab wontons and the $5.95 chicken lo mein filled my entire bowl (and stomach). Everything was delicious, I loved the lo mein and so did my boyfriend, he also loved his large chicken curry. The chicken curry came with a ton of chicken and my boyfriend, who is into weightlifting and on a bulk, couldn't finish the meal and now has a great protein rich meal for tomorrow! The krab wontons we're not the best I've ever had but they were still very very tasty and I would still recommend them. Overall, great establishment and I'm looking forward to trying their other meals!

It is located in downtown Asheville so there is no immediate parking lot but there are some places nearby or street parking, The inside is very modern and there is seating both inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and service was very prompt! My family got the Lo Mein with Chicken, Chow Fun with Beef, Sautéed String Bean, Buddha Bean Curd Rolls, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken. I loved the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings! The wrapper was very tender and the shrimp filling was delicious. It tasted very authentic to me. I also loved the Sautéed String Bean as it had the right amount of garlicky sauce. The Lo Mein was made with thinner than usual noodles but still tasted good. I think the Chow Fun tasted a bit off. It kind of tasted a bit sweet and like drunken noodles at some points as opposed to the traditional smoky flavor that the dish has. The rice noodles that were used were also thin as opposed to the usual wider noodles. As for the Spicy Chicken, it tasted solid. I liked the slight crisp before biting into each piece and it was not really spicy. I definitely tasted the cumin (I am not a super big fan of), which is a popular flavor found in Szechuan cuisine. Overall, I think this is a nice spot for some Chinese food, especially being near the mountains which is more isolated. I wish chicken feet were part of their dim sum menu (it is pretty small and there are no rolling carts in case anyone is wondering). I do think some flavors of the food I tasted seem to cater a bit more to the Western taste palate (my parents agree as well), but I enjoyed my time here.
