Kind of a big deal for all of us. Roughly 5 minutes after he is dropped off we're called and told he is too difficult and needs to be drugged for future services. Any time he has been to the vet, he is compliant. A little nervous but easy to work with. He wasn't given a chance. Lack of customer service or care. If you simply cannot handle servicing a dog, state that. I'm ashamed. I've never had such a terrible experience for grooming with petco before. I've had difficult anxious dogs in the past who were taken care of extremely well by petco groomers who handled their anxiety and were able to create a safe and comfortable environment.

Picked her up and she looked better but when I got her in the truck I noticed a little odor. Was not sure if it was her until I got home. She was not as strong but I could still smell her. When I petted her my hands stunk, too. Her hair looked like it had been brushed a bit but back on her hind-quarters she had had a lot of under fur bunching up. As I petted her and ran my hand across her flank, tufts of hair were flying out. She obviously had been brushed to some extent but not adequately as there was still fur flying. $64 for the whole thing and I think they brushed her a bit, maybe put something on her fur a little to help with some odor but not sure. If they bathed her it was a lousy job as she still stinks. I can smell her when she walks up behind me in my office. It does appear they did her claws. Very disappointed. We have had fairly good results in the past but will probably find somewhere else to go now.

The employees were unprofessional and outright disrespectful, specifically Taylor and Katelynn. When I asked a simple questions to the receptionist about their fees, Taylor and Katelynn stood by laughing right in my face and making faces to each other as if I wasn't even there. They exchanged looks and made faces while discussing my questions, which felt extremely rude and demeaning. I was shocked by how they handled what should have been a basic, courteous interaction. I've had issues with Taylor in the past informing me that a fee would be $15, only to pick up my pet and the price hiked to $40. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I won't be returning to this location or probably any other PetSmart if I don't have to. If they would treat me horribly, right in front of my face, these aren't people I'm trusting with my pet.
