Beyond the Dog uses only humane techniques that have been approved by animal behavior organizations. We were not sure what to expect from a trainer but we desperately needed help with our two smallest dogs. We had trouble with barking, reactivity, and aggression so we signed up for the executive program. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Our trainer Ally changed our lives! She made a wonderful connection with both dogs. They hate when people come over and have never felt comfortable around anyone but us but you should see them when Ally arrives! They completely love her. She has worked with them on not barking, going to their place when people arrive and staying there, and walking next to us calmly outside. My family keeps commenting on what different dogs they are now. We are all so much calmer and happier! Word to the wise, you as an owner also have to be involved. Once the program was over we had to keep up the work in order to maintain all the progress she made.

It was really nice knowing that my dog was staying at someone's home rather than a kennel, and it put me at ease to see how much fun she was having at the dog park and in the backyard when I saw the pictures she posted. Fleer is the second defendant to be convicted in the case. According to court documents filed Feb. 19, 2025, the charge stemmed from an Oct. 17, 2024, incident in which a black poodle, about 2 years old, was found in the middle of Tonganoxie Drive near 199th Street. Two individuals captured the dog, which was later taken to a veterinarian for treatment. Court records state the poodle was severely malnourished, infested with fleas and had matted fur. A scan of the dog's microchip revealed that Jessica and Amanda Fleer owned the dog. On Friday, Aug. 15, Amanda Fleer, 42, also pleaded no contest and was found guilty of cruelty to animals. Sentencing for both women is scheduled for Sept. 19, 2025. "We have a responsibility to properly care for animals," Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson said. "We will continue to hold people accountable when they fail to meet even the most basic standards of care for pets and animals."

Recommended this unnecessary $90 a month med when all he needed was Benadryl. Just as another review I read she wanted to neuter my dog at 4 months of age. When I go to pick him up I'm also told one ball hasn't dropped and was charged an additional $100. At his first heart worm test she said this breed is vicious and for me to stay back. She held him down like he was some wild animal while the blood was drawn. All he did was look at his arm then look up at her. Yep, he's vicious all right. Then he got sick. At this point I wasn't going to go back to her. But he was dehydrated and needed some fluids and I was moving at the time and didn't want to deal with a new vet. She basically told me his guts were rotting and that she needed to do a barium pull and full x-ray panel to make sure he wasn't blocked for $250. When I argued it wasn't necessary I was told her rent went up. I agreed to one basic x-ray just because I love my dog and would have felt bad if there was something wrong. But it was clear. He felt better just as I knew he would after some fluids. Please don't take your animal here. She's awful!!!
