If I could give zero stars, I would. They told me to sign a lengthy form that said that I would not do a credit charge back in case I was unhappy with their service. They quoted me one price for a brake repair, took the brakes apart and fixed them, then charged me 25% more money than the quoted price without even consulting me. I won't be back. read more

What a great experience I had getting my brakes done here! I previously went to my dealership, (dodge of Miami lakes)all they did was look through my tires and automatically said I needed new brakes and new rotors for the front alone. They gave me the estimate of over $1100!! They never took off my tires off to actually inspect the brakes close up. I left my truck there for a few hours, the dealership later called me and said they do not have the parts that I would have to leave the truck overnight. I told them to have my keys ready that I'm going to go pick it up and did not proceed with the purchase. The next morning I took a drive over to Mitos brakes. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and told the mechanic what the problem was. He took my truck on a test drive, then he had my truck on a lift and removed all of my tires. He then inspected every single brake. He brought me over to show me close-up, all my brake pads needed to be replaced, however that my rotors were in fine condition. To have all my brake pads replaced, labor and parts, it would cost me $390.!!! I was in shock on how my dealership would charge me $1100 for two brake pads and two rotors. On top of that they lied to me and told me that my rotors definitely needed to be replaced. they are a bunch of crooks. I recommend Mitos breaks 100%. They are professional, quick but most of all they are HONEST!!!! read more

As a woman, sometimes men in this business try to pull one over on you. I didn't feel that way at all! As a matter of fact, he told me, "you do not need new brakes, your are still very good." What he did do however was, fixed a squeaking/screeching sound, which I am SO grateful for! I drive 4 hrs every month, to visit my parents in Hialeah, with my 2 daughters. The co-owner Roly was very personable and showed me exactly what was wrong with my brakes. I took my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 to Mito Brakes with an ABS code. It turned out to be my ABS valve, which even the dealer, did not stock. Armando found a used one at an affordable price.
