Their thoroughness so impressed my general contractor, he told me he wished they worked for HIM! For some recent home repairs, painters had used blue 3M masking tape to tape Ram Board down throughout, to protect the wood floor. Weeks later, when the Ram Board was finally removed, I could see stripes of of sticky tape residue on my lovely wood floor. Aargh!! I tried several home methods, but it just would not come off. I didn't want to risk damaging the floor with steel wool. So I called Solana Flooring. The owner, Mik, came over that very day to take a look. The next day, two of his workers arrived, inspected the areas, and applied a specialized, professional oil product, rubbing the areas with a soft cloth. I was very excited to find Interior Technique Flooring through Yelp, as many of the reviews mentioned how helpful they are with repairing flooring after flooding and that they specialize in all kinds of flooring as well. The reviews also mentioned how friendly the owners and installers are, and I couldn't agree more after working with them on this project. Dustin was very helpful and creative and offered several different solutions to help us use existing floorboards to repair the area in front of our pantry so that the color match would be seamless. We decided to make our whole kitchen tile to help prevent future flooding problems and also provide a fun pop of color. We selected the tile from the ones they had in their showroom, and Ryan was very helpful with getting us a sample to take home and giving us info on the tile options. Mike made sure that scheduling went smoothly and our kitchen was back to normal within 5 days which was so helpful given we have a three year old daughter who wanted to check out all exposed sub flooring. We also have to give a shout out to the laminate and tile installers and the plumber as well. Everyone did a great job and was very clean and polite. He gave me some sample books to take home and I picked something out after a couple of days. I placed an order for my carpet over the phone and they got it ordered right away. Shortly after it came in, they called and asked if they could install it on a Saturday. I said "sure". Their guys showed up, moved my furniture out of the way, and got to installing the new carpet. They did a nice professional job, and hauled away the old carpet for recycling. Very straightforward process throughout. The price was better than I expected for a high quality brand of carpet too.
