The secretary was super friendly and helpful with insurance and billing questions. I have never been to this office before . On the day I arrived to the Franklin office for my procedure, the staff was extremely friendly , polite and set my nerves at ease. I then met with Dr Gorham. She was super professional, friendly and walked me through the entire procedure before, during and after. I would highly recommend this office and rate the Doctor and staff as exceptional.

While they were fully booked they gave me a time to come in to be seen. I was forever grateful for their kindness. I was the last patient at the end of a very busy day for this office. Dr. McGough and her assistant could not have been more upbeat and pleasant. When it was determined that I needed a root canal, they happily stayed late until they finished me at 6:45 PM. I can't say enough good things about this practice. I have had other root canals done here with various other doctors and they all have the same work ethic and amazing patient care. This office is rare in today's fast paced busy world, where many offices would have told me to make an appointment another day. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I had no expectation that I would hear from the office nearly TWO YEARS after the fact. We were referred by our dentist to Dr. Funteas for a root canal for my daughter. Dr. F was well…read moreinformed that my daughter has EXTREME anxiety and fear response to dental work. When it looked as though my daughter may not be able to get herself through the procedure, Dr. Funteas got angry and scolded my daughter and I because she had "set aside time" for this. She coldly said we could "seek care elsewhere" and that she would still be compensated for her time if we were to leave. This woman demonstrated a complete lack of compassion for my daughter who was in a terrified state. Dr. Funteas presented as egotistical and self-interested. Good for you, Dr. Funteas, that you can perform root canals - but no one wants to get a root canal from someone who completely lacks empathy. My daughter is NOT the only person who has a severe fear response to dental and endodontist work. It would serve you well to develop some compassion skills. Only when/if you can show compassion and understanding, might you be able to call yourself a "good endodontist."

I was told she had cancelled my appointment because I supposedly didn't 'CONFIRM my appointment'. WHAT? Evidently I was supposed to be home to answer (I have a landline) her phone call, but I wasn't there for a while, thus the appointment was cancelled. How rude and stupid is that! Then she said she could fit me in the next day. Ahhhh, no freaken way. I told her I would find a better place and walked out. Ten minutes later I made an appointment at another office nearby. When I told them about Alpha Dental they just shook their heads and said they would never treat their patients like that.

While the work that was performed was "ok"…read more... my first visit left my mouth bruised up, on my second visit i was stabbed in the face by the dental assistant with a dental pick because she was not paying attention. Afterwards I was hurried out the door ... After cancelling my next visit (who would go back given what happened) now there is a nonsensical no-show fee attached to my account along with other extra charges. Upon questioning them, I was met with a confrontational attitude, unwillingness to remedy the situation, and threatened with more charges from times I had previously re-scheduled other appointments.

She is hands down the best dentist I have ever gone to. She is an absolute perfectionist, and her work is exceptional. I have had veneers, cavities, Implants and crowns done by her over the years, and my teeth look and feel fantastic. She refers endodontic work to other great Dr's, but she has the actual teeth made and puts them in for implants. The receptionist Donna is fantastic, as are the hygienists. Everyone there understands that dentistry is an anxiety wrought experience, and they are excellent at making people feel comfortable.Once you go to Dr. Many, you will never go to anyone else.

I called and ask to make an apt first would not make one tell i sent them then paperwork whichbwas fine. This office is an hour 30 mins from my house the day of the apt I get a call at 8am my apt was at 830 the call said I was late I told them I have an email with the time on it and that I was not. I get there at 8:15 and office was closed. I called and they said I was at wrong office again email conform I was not. I drove extra 20 mins and got there. The Dentis himself was very nice and look at my daughter and made a plan for end of Feb. The dentist said need a physical 30days before she went under. I called got an apt early in month which was fine. The Dentist said just needed to bring paperwork with me day of apt. I then get an email saying my apt was on monday Feb 23 I told then that apt was Tues 24. Then got a text saying apt was at 12pm on 24th the Dentist told me I would not get tiĺl day before the apt. Then I get an email saying they need the information from the Doctor office. Thank God I made an early apt because Dentist himself told me not to do tell middle of month and know saying if dont have paperwork tomorrow they will cancel my daughter apt. This offer so bad. I will never go back. I am kinda scared to even have them touch my daughters month.
