The quality of all locations in Abilene have gone to shyt!!! The bug stuff you spray never washes off and is starting to ruin the front of my car. The back of my car never comes clean. I see other car all over town with the mister clean stickers and the backs of their cars are gross! I will be canceling my membership this month. The vacuum cleaner work horrible as of late. I am done giving second chances. Staff never guides in half the time they are tand just lets your tires rub all over the metal. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I purchased my car February 1st 2019. This car is my baby and I have maintained it as new since purchasing. I have only had it washed at Mister Car Wash locations. I have attached two photos to show how my vehicle looked when I purchased it vs after a handful of times of getting my car washed there. I do NOT recommend getting your vehicle washed here if you care about your paint job or the aesthetic of your vehicle. I'm not sure whether it's the type of towels they use to dry or the cleaning spinners that are meant to clean your vehicle but I DEEPLY regret ever getting my car washed here. The third image is from the ONLY time I got a full service car wash. The man cleaning my vehicle had some sort of residue all over the rag he used to wipe my car. These marks ran all along the front, side, back, somehow windows, and interior of my car. I spent about an hour and a half that day wiping it all off with a paint safe car rag. The customer service is great and the workers are always quality but their products are not in the best interest of your vehicles. I recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

beware!!! the mister car wash off of judge ely will destroy your your windshield wiper arms! I bought the highest package which isn't worth it. they barely will spray down your car when it enters. your mirrors are going to be knocked around like crazy. then the real treat is the end when it whipes your car down. the machine will destroy your wiper arms. don't go here unless you want to go and readjust everything on your car! read more

We are from out of town and had a lot of bugs on our truck from the drive in the night before. Mister Car Wash noticed not all the bugs came off and came to us while we were at the vacuums to tell us to drive through again. We also loved the little instrument that blew the hard-to-get crevices in your car and the signs that said "no loud music". So irritating when the car next to you at the vacuums plays their music loud when you are trying to be considerate of others. We will use them again if we are ever back in town. read more

Mister is (I think) a franchise operation. There are some 300 locations nationwide. I did the $12 exterior option (Repel Shield * Tire Shine * Underbody Wash * T3 Conditioner * Wheel Cleaner). This is a machine wash operation, where you stay in your vehicle for 60 - 90 seconds. My vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler. It did not come our clean, and from watching the equipment work, I don't think it could ever completely clean my vehicle. When I lived in the Bay Area, I used Auto Pride Hand Car Wash. The car moves on a track, and two workers hand wash your exterior, before a team cleans the interior. The quality is 5 star! The cost (keep in mind this is California pricing) is $30 (interior and exterior). Not all Mister locations offer interior cleaning. The location on S 27th does. The closest to Auto Pride would be $16 exterior + $16 interior, so $32 in Abilene vs $30 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Unlimited interior/exterior wash pass is $60/mo at S 27th vs $50/mo at Auto Pride. Mister is overpriced. Mister is an expensive, low quality service!!! They do well because Abilene only has self service wand (e.g., Super Suds) as an alternative. If Abilene had Auto Pride, Mister would be in trouble. read more

Too bad you can't give 0 stars. My wife paid for a one month car wash service. It was the last day of the service and I took it here for a quick final wash - my wife said she did not like this particular location. While getting the car wash, I feel some weird things happen and the attendant came up and had me move forward and backwards a few times. Then, he said there was a little accident with the guy behind me and we should exchange info after we exit. Apparently, my car had gotten off track and this caused the accident. When I filed a claim with the company they said we reviewed the video and "you turned the wheel and that caused you to go off the track" even though I did not touch the wheel the whole time. When I asked the car wash how they knew I turned the wheel they said that we see that it is turned. I asked "but did you see the me, the driver, turn it?" Their response is that the only way it could turn is if the driver does it. I'm sure those big brushes rubbing up against the wheels and tires do nothing to shift them around. /s I explained this to my wife and she said "they told me the exact same thing! That's why I don't like that location!" What's more is that they pack the cars so tight -- even when they are not busy -- that if anything goes wrong and the attendant is not paying attention it will almost certainly cause an accident. If you like damage to your car at no fault of your own -- but the cost to fix it will be entirely your responsibility -- then this is the place for you! read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful! It is very convenient and affordable making it by far the best car wash in town. I will never cancel my unlimited membership. Although I've had a positive experience at every misters car wash in town, the Judge Ely location is defiantly my favorite. I think it's because of the rockstar staff. read more

Not a good visit, or place. I paid for the most expensive wash because my car was pretty dirty after the recent rain. After I went through and the guys were wiping it down, I kept sitting there because they didn't indicate they were done and it didn't seem like enough time for them to finish everything.....but then they looked at me like I was crazy for not driving forward...so I left. When I got home later after driving all around town I saw they had left the tape on my windshield and there was a huge spot of yuck left behind. Also, I do not appreciate having to sit there while the girl talks nonstop and the "members only" customers are passing by one after another and now instead of being behind 2 cars I am behind 6 cars. Just because I won't pay 30.00 a month for a crappy wash doesn't mean my time is less valuable. I won't be back. read more

When I went to the location at Buffalo Gap Road .. had a couple of bad experiences with them .. last time I went to them I paid 20.00 and they didn't even spray my windshield or my grill in front .. didn't even scrub it... so I went to the Judge Ely location and they Rocked it!! they were so accommodating... I live out of Abilene but I will be using the Judge Ely location from now on ... a little bit farther but its worth the drive :) I went on Sept 1st 2019 around 3 pm... the whole staff was awesome read more

I was under the impression this was full service car wash. I had to vacuum the inside myself and the the people at the end of the wash do a lousy job, never even touched the car past the back door. I asked them if could use a drying towel to finish drying the car and said they do not lend out towels.I was told I could go to the Mister down the road and go through that one which he said is the full service wash. Every time I go to this place I get more and more disappointed. Today was probably my last visit. Paid for the most expensive wash because we just got back from a trip to beach and my car was covered in bugs and sand. At the end of my wash my car was still covered in bugs. The towel dryers had to have noticed because the wipes right over all of it as they were drying. The back of my vehicle is always still dirty afterwards. Took it down the street to the self car wash and it literally took me three minutes to wash off the bug myself for a dollar. So basically go to a self service before going to Mister. You can probably do a better job for much cheaper. Additionally their free vacuums have hardly any suction. So if you really want a clean floor board you probably won't be successful here read more
