This was such a hidden gem! I almost walked past it, but the glittering lights inside brought me in and they did NOT disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff were super knowledgeable about the spice levels of various dishes, suggesting food for each of our preferences! We had the queso fundito which was DELICIOUS (it was a mild spice for most, but a little too spicy for me to order again lol), and I had the loaded nachos with carnitas and they were some of the best nachos I have ever had! The nachos were extra interesting because they are full tortillas, not tortilla chips, that the toppings were placed on, and the carnitas were super mild on spice! The only thing that was a little lackluster was the drinks were quite sweet, so if you are someone who wants a more sour than sweet margarita, I would recommend asking for it less sweet. Overall, this was such an amazing restaurant and I will definitely be coming back here again and again!

Crispy chicken taco platter, chips with guacamole, salsa fresca, and salsa verde.

As the newest installment of Mission Cantina (Called "Mission Taco" or simply "Mission") here in my little town I just gotta say that I'm THRILLED to have delicious tacos, margarita's, and burritos in walking distance of my house. This may do dangerous things to my waistline. My partner and I stopped in on Friday night. We were swiftly seated at the bar and served drinks and chips. We had the Guacamole, the Salsa Fresca, and the Salsa Verde as dips. The Guacamole was wonderful, tasty. Mild. Creamy. The Salsa Verde is my favorite. It's reminiscent of coriander chutney. The chips were served warm. And before we even finished them our entrees were up. I got the nightly special a crispy chicken taco platter. It came with 3 tacos and rice and beans. It was very filling. The crispy chicken was well cooked. The beans and rice were delicious. My partner had the fish tacos. They were also crispy. She very much enjoyed them. I had two margaritas. The House Marg (Mission Margarita) and the Don Julio. Of the two of them I really liked the Mission Margarita. The Don was good, too, but it had a much stronger flavor. The place was hopping, but they moved things along really well. There were usually seats available, and the only time I saw people waiting for a table was a party of 5. The staff was friendly. The space is very nice since the recent remodel. It is tight, and seating is at a premium. My only complaint (seeing as I am so close) is that they don't have a more streamlined way to order take out. And the first time I called in I was told that take out was not going to be available for an hour or so. But, this was also early in the opening of the restaurant, so I imagine that will change as they get things more settled. I will, absolutely, be back.

I highly recommend this great little Mexican styled restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and the drink selection was very good too. The bar tender was very personable and the ambiance was great. Definitely worth the visit.

Love this place. Great tacos and beautiful atmosphere. They now have outdoor dinning due to covid.

Ask the Community - Mission Taco

Do they have Birria tacos? Did the owner change for this location too? I think Amherst is no longer the original menu/owners

Originally from Vermont, Berzins began looking for a good location to open a brewery after attending the Siebel Institute for Brewing in 2010. He settled on a former hay field in Easthampton at the base of Mount Tom. He chose Easthampton for the city's delicious, environmentally protected water. He was also enamored with the community's friendliness and sense of welfare. Berzins adheres to the Reinheitsgebot German purity law for the majority of his beers. Per the age-old law, the beer can only be produced with four ingredients: water, hops, malt, and yeast. At first, Fort Hill only brewed lagers. More recently they have ventured into hoppier territory with the addition of IPAs. My son and I recently visited Fort Hill Brewery while we were cycling the large network of bike trails in and around Northampton. The brewery is conveniently located right alongside the spur trail section of the Manhan Rail Trail. The location had seating available outside as well as inside and was quite packed when we arrived. The draught menu that day featured about 20 different beers of varying styles. Being the hop head that I am, I decided to order a sampler flight of five IPAs. It consisted of "G-Fresh" (Grapefruit IPA), "Disco Kid" (IPA), "Fresh Pick" (NEIPA), "Checkmate Chuck" (DIPA) and "Jigsaw Jazz" (DIPA). They were all pretty good, but "G-Fresh" and "Fresh Pick" were my two favorites. My son and I grabbed a table by the brewery's small stage and we listened to the blues sensations of Wildcat O'Halloran's band while I enjoyed my beer samples. We had a nice time at Fort Hill Brewery and I would definitely stop by again!

I had two beers, and both very tasty. The Pianist, is exactly what I'd usually gravitate towards a great sour, with a bit of a twist. I also had Corrupt Cranberry, this is not for everyone, but I enjoyed it. It's a seltzer beer, I've never heard of such a thing. It's very unique, a bit more watery then the average beer, but also very flavorful. The night I was here, there was live music. This is a great little brewery that I enjoyed checking out. I have to add, they charge $2.00 for beer sampling. I'm not sure how big the samples are, this might be a covid reason. This is also a dog friendly brewery.

The latest review by 'Liz T' is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. I am a progressive, and…read moreI've eaten at Amy's many times. How absolutely ridiculous to sit there and try to sow political division in our community. There are many different types of people who live here, and discrimination is never okay. Yesterday, there were several absolutely normal families, a gay couple, a trans person, and your regular bar-goers. Would it be okay for Amy's to turn those folks away because a Trump lover cried about it on Yelp? Grow up. Anyway, Amy's has some of the best boneless wings I've had in a long time- it's so rare to find ones that are not pre-frozen or just full of cartilage. Their French onion soup is always a winner, as well. I think the atmosphere is pretty cozy, and there's always a game on if you're into that sort of thing. Either way- Amy's is a great local, American, community restaurant that really reminds me of the kinds of restaurants I used to go to when I was a kid. We'll be back for sure!

The beer list is a rock solid curation of high-quality regional craft beers and the cocktail menu is quirky and fun. I'm not the sort of person who drinks martinis that taste like cookies but that's super fun for some people, and I appreciate the diversity of choices that appeal to a wide range of people and their particular moments in life. I had a cocktail made with grapefruit juice that actually tasted identifiably like fresh grapefruit juice. The service was kind, attentive, pleasant and professional. The ambience was casual and easy going, and the place was clean and welcoming. So it is regrettable that having just discovered this perfectly nice place I will never set foot in there again. They serve Trumpists wearing Trump-fawning t-shirts. If that bothers you, you should not eat here. We moved tables, still couldn't bring ourselves to eat, packed our uneaten food, tipped well, knocked back the remaining beer, left a hundred dollars lighter, and will never return.* People can and do refuse to serve fascists. This business choose to serve them. Spend your money as you wish. * Yes, that's pricey for lunch but that's on us. We went out to have fun. It was a hard week. The prices were reasonable. We had cocktails, beer, an appetizer and an entree. Frugal people who aren't quite as desperate for a little fun could get away spending less, on the other hand, you may have to eat it looking at this guy.
