The truck was in the neighborhood so I decided to stop by for a quick dinner. Went with the Buff Yinzer (w/ Mahi). This was honestly soooo good. Exceeded my expectations. Flavors worked so well together, the tortilla was nicely toasted. 10/10 would get again, totally hit the spot. Service was great as well. Super friendly people and my food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Overall, great food truck. I've had it in the past but this time was exceptionally memorable. I will be back for more. read more

First time trying the Mission Mahi food truck which makes its rounds to various neighborhoods, this time at Park Place in Cranberry Twp. We got one original & one Greek and a basket of fries and it took only 6 minutes to receive our order. Everything was hot & fresh when we got home and we split the tacos (which are really like fish tortilla grilled panini wraps) and both were delicious. I thought the Greek was outstanding. And their fries are seasoned & crispy on the outside with a special sriracha Mayo dip. Would definitely recommend this food truck and do check out their web page to find out the backstory. We will definitely order again if they are near our neighborhood. They used to have a permanent restaurant in Cranberry on Rowan Rd, but I'm not certain due to Covid if it's still up & running or if they only have the food truck these days. read more

I stopped by here a number of Thursday's ago with my wife for dinner. Our neighborhood had been getting food trucks to come every Thursday night and on this night it was Mission Mahi's turn. Since it's a food truck there isn't much to say about it other than it was being worked by two people. For dinner on this day I decided to go with the buffalo while my wife went with the Greek and we also got a basket of fries to split. Our food came out within a reasonable amount of time and we headed home to eat it. Whenever we opened it up I was surprised that it looked like a cross between a burrito and a panini although to be honest, I am not sure what I was expecting. In any case I enjoyed my meal as the blackened Mahi had a good flavor to it while I also enjoyed the buffalo sauce and the lettuce and cheese. Then the fries here were nice and crispy and we liked dipping them into the sricha Mayo that came with them. My wife also enjoyed her meal, especially the spinach artichoke cheese. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into (I can and should have read the menu) but it ended up being good and was a nice change of pace for me and my wife. read more

We have been on a food truck rotation in our neighborhood and this was my first time trying mission mahi. I got the traditional fish taco. It was more a wrap than tacos so I think the wording of that probably needs to change! It was done quickly and the portion was very big. More than enough. And it was very full of mahi. While I appreciated that, I actually would have liked to have slightly less mahi and slightly more of the other pieces like avocado, tomato and the Siracha Mayo. It was kind of hard to taste much more than the fish. It was good though and I'd get it again. I also got fries and they are seasoned and very good. read more

Have not been to their new restaurant yet just basing this on hitting their food truck multiple times when it has been at Coffee Buddha. I would give ten stars but this rating system doesn't permit this. Amazing Mahi burritos (let's face it they are delicious grilled burritos not tacos)... I don't care what they call them they are fab. I've tried all varieties but in the end I go back to original. Do not miss the fries peeps they are great. Seriously great. Honestly one "taco" plus an order of fries I can't eat at one sitting (it's Pittsburgh style portions) but that just means I have leftovers for another meal. Lastly let me say a word or two about the fellow running this place... take the time to have a few words with him if you get a chance. He is a great guy and he is doing great work (you don't have to care about this part if you don't want) and it just so happens he is serving up the best fish "taco" in this part of the country. Food truck round up at the Coffee Buddha last Saturday was amazing as always. Prior to attending, I did some research on what food trucks would be there. I saw "Mission Mahi" listed and was curious to learn more, considering I had never heard of this truck before. I read an article on the owner's story and was really taken back by how amazing his story was and how awesome of an idea it was to bring awareness to recovery through a food truck. Genius. I knew we had to check it out when we came to the round up. Now I should point out, I don't eat fish. At all. I do like the occasional shrimp or even crab sometimes, but no fish. I was hesitant on ordering something for myself, but my parents on the other hand, were not- they love fish. My dad ordered the "tex mex" fish taco and my mom ordered "the yinzer". My dad also ordered some fries as well. We were surprised with how quick the food was ready, and how huge the portions were. My dad LOVED his taco. He couldn't stop saying how fresh it was and how tasty it was. I tried some fries and they were super good. My mom also loved her taco & couldn't even finish it because it was THAT big. The service was great- my dad chatted with the owner for a bit and really enjoyed talking to him. I am really looking forward to seeing this food truck out & about this summer and even if I am not adventurous enough to order a fish taco, I would definitely check out their other menu items and get some more of their delicious fries. They've moved their truck elsewhere, and whenever we would drive by (even if we just ate) we always stop! Gyros N'At was unable to make it but we've been trying to grab Mission Mahi so it worked out. We both gobbled down our taco before I could grab pictures. They were excellent. I really wouldn't call them tacos though. Some other people posted pictures. They're more like a pressed wrap, or a burrito than a taco, but that doesn't matter because they are packed with mahi mahi and flavor (and they have sriracha mayo - it's on most of their tacos). I got the Greek and my boyfriend got the Tex-Mex. They were really flavorful and filling. I was surprised by how much fish there was. Been trying to get some food from these guys for quite awhile, glad they were at Grist House tonight for Millvale Days. Ordered two Originals, one for me and one for my wife. Damn, these are good! $12 for a taco seems high - until you get your box and realize it weighs a ton. Then you bite it and your eyes roll back in your head. Om nom nom! The fish is perfect, seasoned well, hugged up with toppings and sauce, then stuffed into a soft burrito and the whole thing is grilled. You've got just a handful of flavor preps. I've tried the Original and the Yinzer and so far my favorite is the "Yinzer" + tomatoes. This is my first foray into fish tacos and boy did I hit the gold mine with this food truck! For the purists, these are *technically* fish BURRITOS cut diagonally, but personally I like that better and besides, they're so tasty that... does your tongue really care? I'm a picky eater so I opted for the Yinzer with light mayo and no slaw. The Mahi Mahi is grilled to perfection but it lacks seasoning so it probably would've been better in the Buffalo sauce. The fries are awesome sauce. For some reason though my favorite part of the entire thing is the Sriracha mayo and the tortilla. If you have a small appetite though you may want to split one of these babies because they do not skim on the filling. Next go around I'm so trying their veggie options. They gave us a sample for the mahi mahi and it had a real nice flavor so I ordered the Tex mex burrito. They have a variety of types and you can substitute the mahi mahi for chicken...but why would you. I'd didn't try the chicken but I'd suggest stick with the mahi mahi. The Tex mex was excellent. This was our first visit to the new Mission Mahi Restaurant. We have visited their food truck in the past, and the food at the restaurant is equally delicious. We had the original Mahi and the grilled shrimp. I recommend both.
