Upon recommendation from one of my husband's co-workers, I had used Mission Cooling & Heating in the past and was very pleased. They were punctual, professional and, reasonably priced. So this summer ( as my luck goes) during the hottest week of the year, my A/C died completely and the temperature in my house climbed to 99 degrees. Without hesitation, Mission was my first call. It was late in the afternoon, but the lady that answered the phone was very sympathetic and said that someone would be out no matter what time. When the technician arrived, he gave me the bad news that the compressor was gone and they would have to order one from phoenix. Of course, the last orders had gone in for the morning truck, so receipt would probably be 2 days. Even worse for me, this weekend was the Company's annual outing and they were going to close for the weekend. I don't know how he did it but Chandler (the Service Tech. & also the Owner) was able to get the part the following day, installed that morning and was also able to go on the outing. I don't think i could have handled the guilt if he had to miss that event. I try not to be cynical, but in today's world, it is very difficult to find a company that really cares about its customers. I give Mission Cooling & Heating an exemplary rating in all categories provided and hope that anyone who is reading this and in need of HVAC services will give them a try. I personally guarantee that you will be very pleased you did.!!! read more

I can't say enough about this company! My house has two different sized units. Mission Heating and Cooling installed 2 MOEAC units to replace the old ones. The initial install went smoothly, the installers cleaned up after themselves leaving no finger prints or trash behind. Which is expected... After this however, they really went above and beyond... when they got my old units back to the shop they compared the compressor data to the nameplate data on each unit and found they didn't match. Apparently when the units were initially installed, they were installed backwards - the big unit feeding down stairs, and the little unit feeding upstairs (I was always told the smaller tonnage unit was higher efficiency, that is why it was physically larger) The contractor that initially installed them apparently swapped the nameplate panels on the condensing units to get through inspections. Realizing they used the blower section to place the units, Mission then scheduled a time to return and swap the units fixing an issue that had existed for over 10 years! The condensing units being outside my office window were very noisy as they clanked on and off. The new MOEAC units are quiet and can't even be heard. My electric bill was over $700 and I expect these units to drop it significantly. Thank you Mission! read more

We had our AC replaced by Mission a few years ago and they were prompt, honest, hard-working with excellent pricing and exceptional warranty! I recommend them anytime a friend or neighbor asks about HVAC. Just this week, our sweet neighbor's AC died! She asked for our help as her husband passed away last October. When Scott came out and looked at the unit (21years old!) He gave a couple options: a temporary fix that might last 6mo to 5yrs. But, rolling the dice. Or, a replacement unit. The price of the replacement unit was higher of course and certainly high with today's skyrocketing prices but, after my husband told them about her recent loss, Scott called Chandler (the owner) and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of her! They were able to adjust the price and they replaced the unit in supersonic time! (Less than 1 week)! Honestly, I almost cried! It is a rarity these days (especially recently) to find a company who still cares about taking care of their customers and doing the right thing, no matter what! So so grateful for them! Thank you Mission! We will always recommend you!! read more

Mission Heating & Cooling replaced a rooftop AC unit on my daughter's second story condo and fully updated the integrated ceiling air handler. They were the only HVAC company in Tucson that provided good service and a firm quote on the complete job. Chandler was very easy to work with and his techs did a great job. Their pricing was very fair for a somewhat difficult job. The first (large) crane that came out didn't have quite the reach to get the AC condensing unit off the roof. They then brought out a mega crane that had the reach. Never bothered me with this problem, just took care of business and got the job done. I waited a bit to write this review to see over time how the new Tucson HVAC system performed. It is flawless. Excellent work. As a side note, my home in Phoenix had a faulty air handler (same time as the Tucson compressor failure) and it was hard to finding someone to come over ASAP. I mentioned it to Chandler and he said he could send a guy up from Tucson to replace it if needed. Well beyond what I could expect. read more

We had a new unit installed, not by Mission. About 6 months later, it was only blowing hot air and ran solidly as it never cooled. Called person who installed and he came a couple of times, but never fixed it and said warranty was not in force. Called him many times and left messages, but he never would return our calls. Finally called Mission and they were so understanding and sent someone out ASAP. He double checked and found the warranty WAS in force. After ordering the part, another tech came and fixed it. It has run great ever since. We've had a/c companies before who were totally dishonest and would have ripped us off royally had we not double checked them. This company is very honest, reasonable and just generally great to work with. I highly recommend them. read more

Scott and Coleman, two technicians from Mission Heating and Cooling, are great. It was 107 degrees and our AC unit went out! Hottest week of the year. Our appointment was scheduled for the afternoon, but they got a break and came early. We were expecting the worst: Since we have an old system, we thought the compressor might have failed. New units are prohibitively expensive. Scott from Mission Heating came by and immediately solved the problem: It was a capacitor, and he replaced the two old fuses which were showing great signs of wear, too. Got the cool air up and running in minutes! Great job, Mission. My 92-year-old mother thanks you, too. read more

Pride Mechanical Heating and Air conditioning came out three times and wasn't able fix my A/C unit, they then told me that the cost to repair it wouldn't be worth it considering the age of the unit 13 years old, and that I should replace it, I was quoted $9200 for a new unit. I told the repairman that I would get a few more quotes, and he told me me he would write up my estimate and get back to me. I never heard back from them again. I called Mission heating and cooling and was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't need a new unit, and that the serviceman had my unit up and running within a half hour for a modest $150. Honesty is the best policy. read more

I am super impressed with Mission Heating & Cooling. They have been fantastic! They quickly repaired a compressor problem for me earlier this spring, coming out same day to troubleshoot, then again same-day (no charge) late Dec. right before the holidays for another problem. With our unit inoperative, they quickly got me on their schedule (within days!) to replace all 3 of my aging heat pump/air con's with highly efficient and quiet variable speed units with by far the best value and longest/most comprehensive warranty in town! I was completely satisfied and impressed with the professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail of the installation. read more

I arrived on a Monday afternoon in Marana. The temp outside was in the teens. The house had been unoccupied for several months. The thermostat for some reason was set at 95 degrees and wouldn't change. I called a well rated AC repair and they said they couldn't come out till Thursday. After a hot, sleepless night, I called Mission Heating and cooling. Their guy was there in less than one hour ! He apologized for taking so long. He started checking adjustments and fuses and circuit breakers and the AC started blowing cold air. He picked up his tools and said, "No charge." I think most places charge you just to show up. read more

We just moved into a new house and changed the thermostats and the downstairs AC was not working. I called Mission on Monday and they had availability the next day. We were unable to do that so they worked with our schedule and came on Friday (today). They gave a two hour window and showed up in that time. The technician was very knowledgeable and quick and even looked at our furnace to make sure that was working while he was here. They are reasonably priced as well. If anything goes wrong again this is the place I will call and recommend to anyone that needs work. Thank you mission heating and cooling. read more

We had a New AC. Unit installed by Mission Heating and Cooling. We have used there service in the past and they are great. From there picks we went with a Goodman 3 1/2 Ton 16 seers 2 stage compressor unit. Came with a 10 yr. warranty parts and labor. The installation was very professionaly done my Michael and Joe. They had to add duck work for new unit to line up. Couldn't be more please with the work that was performed. New unit is more efficient than old one. Rained really hard that night and no leaks. You'll be very happy with this company. read more

This company was referred to me by my next door neighbor, when I asked her who I should use to help me replace my drop-down sheet metal vents to the Swamp cooler, in my attic. She said, "Easy!!", and gave me Mission's number. I couldn't thank her enough! They guaranteed and back up their work. They showed up, when no one else did. They finished ahead of schedule and were respectable to my home. They also quoted me far less for the job, than all the other companies did, for the same exact services. They are my go-to. Thank you so much. read more

I had to deal with two other companies in Tucson - I'm not going to badmouth them here - only to be frustrated with their inability to return calls, not showing up for appointments and excessive costs on an entire new A/C unit. Giving up on them, I called Mission and within a week - during the Arizona August heat!!- they came out, measured and replaced my whole system! Also, respectful, quick and almost 2K cheaper. Some HVAC people can be "shady", NOT Mission. Godly and helpful owners. Could not be more pleased! read more

We received valuable consultation from Chandler Macomber, the owner of Mission Heating and Cooling, before deciding the type of installation and upgrade that met our immediate and future needs. We were even encouraged to compare their bids with other companies. The Mission Heating and Cooling techs were efficient and competent in their area of expertise. They removed our old unit and cleaned up before leaving. We had a great experience and would trust this company with any future service. Thank you! read more
