Quick service!!! Great fast food style BBQ. Sides are good. Patriotic and Veteran and first responders are acknowledged everyday at noon. Casual atmosphere and friendly staff.

Had an exceptional meal at highland that they catered. The brisket was on point! The cornbread was delicious and and Mac and cheese... oh my god give me the whole things! It was so good! Highly recommend.

A friend and I tried Mission BBQ for the first time not too long ago. Firstly, the atmosphere is absolutely AMAZING! It's all focused on those who have served our country. The food was delicious and it made choosing a protein and sides difficult, so we'll just have to return soon for the great service and excellent food choices. Also, since it was our first time, we were brought a super dessert to the table and it was definitely worth writing home about!

My first visit here. I really enjoyed it. I loved the way it is decorated. It is dedicated to first responders and veterans. They have a donation system, where you can donate a picture or patch from the first responder or veteran in your life. Which is super cool! The prices were very reasonable, and the portions substantial. We split a 3 meat sampler plate, and couldn't finish it all. It was a great way to try a little of a lot of food choices. We tried brisket, ribs, and chicken. I enjoyed them all a lot. We also tried their fries, which were ok, and their Mac and cheese, which was yummo! You order in the back, and then choose your seat. They called our name in like 2-3 minutes. Hot, delicious, and for 2 people we spend 40.00 with Tip. We will definitely go back, and bring some friends. We couldn't stop talking about it. Finding good food in this area is hit or miss. This was a nice win! I really love how their restaurant theme had purpose, and not just a cute kitschy vibe. Very family oriented.

Good BBQ for the price. I came here Sunday evening around 5:30pm for dinner. The restaurant has cool indoor decor and regular table and booth seating. Ordering was at the back of the room, and food came out just 2-3 minutes after ordering. It's a self serve so I picked up food then pick table I want. They have outdoor tables as well. Restaurant is clean and staffs are friendly. Out of 3 meat I got, pull pork, sausage, brisket, the pull pork was better. Brisket was a bit dry and I had to cut the outside since they all burn and bitter. For the price, it's decent place if you want quick BBQ meal

Mission. BBQ is amazing, when you walk in you can tell you are in a place that welcomes people. The counter is not fast food, but quick service- friendly, efficient and responsive to any and all needs or questions... a bonus word of advice- every piece of smoked meat is amazing- but don't sleep on the Smoked Cheeseburger. From the soft bun to the slight smoke flavor to juicy center- this is my new Go to at Mission.. A palace not to miss!!

A very unique place. Try and get there before noon so you can partake in the singing of the national anthem (it is pretty cool). They shut service for about 5 minutes to do this but it's very heartwarming. Lots of veterans and stories told. Food is great as long as you like smoked meats. Pictured are the garden salad with pulled chicken and the pulled chicken entree with greens and beans. Inside is fully decorated in service member photos and various first responder patches. Worth the trip.

Street parking only - don't park behind the building. No steps to get in but there are double doors that might be challenging for someone with mobility challenges. The website describes all of the sauces for the chicken and how spicy they are. I ordered the boneless Gangnam lunch special. It came with 5 pieces of boneless chicken breast, white rice and a beverage (I had a water). I also ordered a side of the pickled radish to try. It was 15 min for the food to come out, but it was hot and fresh! I had to let it cool down before I could take a real bite. It was excellent! And I loved the pickled radish too! Sadly no one else came in to eat while we were there. There were a couple people that came in for pick up orders. I hope people will support this business so it stays open. I would come back but would order ahead so I didn't have to wait for the food.

10/10 - Absolutely Incredible!…read more We catered my daughter's graduation party from Texas BBQ Joint in Spencerport, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the food. We ordered the pulled pork, baked beans, salt potatoes, cornbread, and every single dish was beyond amazing. I've been to plenty of events with catered food, and let's be honest--it's usually just "okay." Most of the time, catered food never tastes as good as it does in the restaurant. That was not the case here. Everything tasted like it had just come straight from the kitchen. The pulled pork was unbelievably tender and juicy. It honestly didn't even need BBQ sauce...and I have never eaten pulled pork without adding sauce! It was that flavorful. The baked beans were next level. The meat mixed throughout made them so rich and delicious. My family used to make the old Momma Brown's baked beans all dressed up with bacon and other ingredients, and I've missed those for years. These were even better than I could have imagined. The salt potatoes were cooked to perfection--every bite tasted like it had the ideal balance of butter and salt infused throughout. And the cornbread...I am so glad I didn't cancel it when I was debating! It was more like a sweet, moist corn cake than traditional cornbread. It held together perfectly, wasn't dry at all, and was hands-down the best cornbread I've ever had. The best part? Every single person at the party was talking about how amazing the food was. We picked everything up ourselves, and it was still hot, fresh, and ready to serve. We will absolutely be ordering from Texas BBQ Joint again. If you're looking for catering--or even just a great meal--do yourself a favor and give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

I had the Pulled Pork Fries, which are also available on the food truck menu. They were so good that I wanted to leave a review both here and at the K2 Brewing page. The fries are perfectly crispy and hold up well against the slaw and barbecue sauce. I absolutely loved the sweet and slightly tangy sauce, and the addition of apple cider vinegar is excellent. The slaw is crunchy and provides a good texture contrast to the fries and pork. The pork was so delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Their menu is small and straight forward, but it seems like a lot of their menu items had big portions. I inquired if they served any of their meats a la carte so I don't stuff myself before hitting the next truck. Unfortunately they don't, however the staff member was more than happy to let me sample pieces of their pulled pork and brisket before deciding. Both of these meats were awesome but lacked the heavy smokey flavor I was looking for directly. No worries, because they were still so good that I opted for the Connor Plate knowing well that I couldn't finish it all. For $12 the Connor Plate was a heaping portion of meat, mac salad, corn and beans. The mac salad was not too heavy on the mustard and mayo (perfect!) and the bean medley was sweet and abundant. The barbecue sauce was added the savory and smokey flavor I wanted but was also sweet. The whole pallet of the dish is a little too sweet for me but for everyone else, this dish is still a solid choice! I think they might have other sauce options (hopefully something spicy), so I look forward to checking them out again and pigging out!
