I then told the attendant about the issue who then scolded me as if I were a child for opening it and mad i was telling on her to do her job. I then left disgusted to not buy anything and had trouble getting into my car because all the workers there park in the front spots and take their breaks in their car with their doors open blocking customers to get in and out of their car.

I'm sorry, there is no way that's legal. Anything bought under $5 on debit has a 55cent tax. I use debit and credit cards everywhere and I've NEVER been charged so much. I've seen them charge customers different prices higher prices than what's posted. Most of the items dont have pricing on the so they can charge you 100-400% more. Unfortunately this is the closest local store that I can go to since I dont drive, yet, but weather permitted I will ride my bike to a further store. They have a lot of unhappy customers which is probably why one of their window was smashed out .....I DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE OR DAMAGING SOMEONE PROPERTY AT ALL, but I guess karma is a bitch after all. Thankfully, this Fastrac was located right across the street from our hotel. Much more than a gas station, Fastrac serves fresh sandwiches, pizza, and baked baked goods. The only other place I could compare it too would be a WaWa, but I have never seen a WaWa with such a large dining room. I enjoyed the many varieties of hot and iced coffee. My men said the breakfast sandwiches, made fresh were very good. We did not eat it, but the pizza looked good for gas station pizza. The staff was always so pleasant. Great choice for a quick bite or coffee!

It was a wonderland for curious readers. It gives me no pleasure to report that the Worldwide News of today is not even a shadow of what it once was. The parking lot and structure are still there, but both appear to be frequented more by the down and out than by lovers of the written word. Less than 20% of the store is still devoted to the display of newspapers, magazines, or paperbacks. Approximately half of the store is empty or functioning as storage space for non-used display racks, while the balance is devoted to tables and convenience foods. It's just sad. There is one draw to be found onsite, however: a giant mural facing the parking lot depicting "sleeping bears." Ironically, due in no small part to the ambience created by the store, to many people the image suggested is one of copulating rodents. (See photo)

There are definitely regulars and it was very busy when I was there (~8:30 PM on a Thursday). Heads up that if you use a credit card, you'll be charged a fee for each transaction. If you want a drink, this is the place. Holy cannoli, it's like 80% beverages! But I went on this night to try Jay's Kitchen, since I'd heard some rave reviews. I had the manto (chicken dumplings smothered in yogurt sauce and topped with lentils, $12.99) and my fiancee had the chicken makhani ($11.99). I also got a bolani for each of us. Jay was super friendly and said it would be about 15 minutes. It was closer to 30 minutes, but it was okay. My fiancee's makhani was pretty sweet, but flavorful. She didn't like it, though. The bolani ($2.50) were good to try, but not our cup of tea. My manto had good flavor, but I didn't think it had enough of the yogurt sauce and I wouldn't get it again. I wish that Jay had said what the sauces he gave on the side were and what to put them on. Overall, I'm glad that we tried Jay's food and would probably have something else (like a gyro or sub), but likely won't go out of our way.
