    BACON

This spot is popping! Parking lot was full which is an excellent sign. We took a ticket and browsed the various coolers and sauces while waiting. Saturday morning is a super busy time to visit. We tried blueberry sausages, pepper bacon, cheddar beef sticks and jalepeno cheddar beef sticks. The meat is high quality, delicious and packed with flavor. Having such amazing meats to prepare Easter weekend was a treat!

Best place to get your venison processed. My uncle has been getting sausages here for years, and I joined in getting some sausage here too. Last year, we went with the slim sticks, kielbasa, smoked reuben, Italian sausage, Bratwurst, and blueberry maple breakfast sausage. Every one of these has been exceptional, and everyone that we have shared them with have been exceedingly impressed. Despite being further away than our hunting camp, this is definitely worth the added drive.

This meat, smoking, packaging business might be off the beaten path right off 104 on Basket Road, in Webster, right near the Monroe-Wayne County line, is very well known in the NE metro for their amazing smoked bacon and infinite sausage possibilities. They also do steaks, pork loin and have all sorts of sausages, but they close to the general public in October, but take meat orders to get us all through the areas cold and nasty Winter. If you want game processing done right, this is also the place. They only do game orders in November then close for the cold season. I imagine the family heads to warmer climates, until they re-open mid Spring. If you love Bacon, this is a must visit place. I even took a shot of my Winter's bacon and hand cut steak order.

    Garbage plate sausage!

I'll jump on the bandwagon for Costanza's. This is an awesome place to pick up hand crafted unique meats and even cheeses for any occasion. We have been here a few times and every time we come we look forward to trying something new. Every foodie should stop by. My personal favorite (so far) is the garbage plate sausage. These sausages are loaded inside with spices, onions, and bits of home fries and macaroni salad noodles. It sounds strange...but they are showstoppers. We've really enjoyed the red pepper mozzerella sausages and are also big fans of the blueberry breakfast sausages. We've even tried their jerky. They have lots of chicken sausages to choose from as well and also have specials for marinated chicken breasts and even homemade roast beef and smoked cheeses and smoked bacon. We are looking forward to visiting them in the Spring when they open again for the season. Be sure to check their hours and their availability of goods in advance if there is something particular you want to try.

I've wanted to stop here for a while, a groupon finally made me do it. Fresh chicken and pork sausage, bacon and meat cuts. Asiago/chive and chipotle/honey sausages apple/cinnamon and mango bacon are in my bag.

The bacon was great and then sausages are the best to bring on a camping trip. We can't wait until they open up again in 2024

The blueberry maple breakfast sausage is very popular and they slice their huge variety of bacons to order.

I have absolutely no clue why I have never written a review on this place.. well here we go…read more I've been here to pick up things for events and raffles.. Ive tried the oils and vinegars pre-Covid. Lots of fun things to try and it gives you ideas of things to use with different foods. (Mayer Lemon EVOO!) Oils as a garnish or to sauté with, make salad dressings, dip your bread..the list goes on. Thing is with Covid I have no idea if you can try anything? I would say ask.. I buy blind and I just go by a description so... What's nice is they ship and they have a few other locations. If you want to give a gift to someone who loves to cook but not sure what to get them. Come here you can get a bunch of different things or get a prepared box of boxed up oils and etc. Staff is friendly and helpful considering Covid it's not a big place and they will regulate the flow of customers if it gets a bit too much. What's good about this place is where it is, after you go in here depending the time frame you can pop in to Baker Street Bakery for some bread and treats. Check out Salty a lovely boutique store or go to Cafe Sasso, Glen Edith, The Chai Guy or Pittsford Dairy for some drinks and treats. Parking is street or behind the building on Somerton. Give them a whirl.

I absolutely love any stop into F. Oliver's. Looking for a unique gift you know people will use?…read moreThis is the spot! The staff here are total experts when it comes to helping you find a unique flavor profiles and combinations, and, while I haven't been in during the COVID times, know they have an amazing tasting process during the normal times. I adore their balsamics and am particularly partial to the fig and berry-based bottles. We always have F. Olivers with our Sunday sauce at my parents house - paired with some Wegmans garlic tuscan bread?! Forget it. I always look forward to my next order of oils and balsamics. Stop in if you have yet to, making stops at Salty and Baker Street Bakery in the awesome Somerton plaza. F. Olivers also has a location in Canandaigua. Happy dipping!
