Prices are reasonable, and they have a nice selection of meats and poultry. I also grabbed some ham hocks for making split pea and navy bean soup. Formerly Inclema's Meats, the shop is under new ownership. The prices are definitely in line with it's central city location. The staff is friendly and helpful but the quality of the meats can not compare with suburban butcher shops or grocery chains. The steaks are prepackaged and as I found out may have more fat than meets the eye. But it is great for an area that does not have anything else close by, so I'm giving it 3 stars just for trying! read more

Bought a whole strip for $4.99 a pound the weight tag on the package said it weighed 9.51 lbs.The counter girl asked if i wanted it trimmed and I said no package it all fat included. Got it home and the package weighed 7.15 lbs.
