Randomly decided to stop in with my wife for dinner. When we walked in the door the barbecue smell was so appetizing, we couldn't wait to get started! It took a few minutes to get a grasp on the menu. The staff was friendly and helped explain everything. I ultimately went with the lean brisket, a side of coleslaw, a side of collard greens and they also added in a piece of cornbread. My wife got the same, except she got the regular brisket which was much more fatty. I absolutely loved my food. Even though the brisket was lean, it was still very tender and of course the flavor was sensational. The sides were also solid. I liked that the coleslaw was chopped on the finer side and it wasn't too saucy. The collard greens also had great seasoning. I didn't try the cornbread but it looked pretty good. The only complaint we had was the texture of my wife's brisket which was a little on the mushy side. The flavor was good, it's just texture wise, most of it was like a big blob of meat and fat, rather than brisket slices. She wound up throwing more than half away. I've actually passed this place a million times and eaten at restaurants all over the area. But somehow I never stopped in at Mission BBQ. Glad I did! Four stars, I am looking forward to trying more items off their menu.

Been here numerous times. Haven't been in a while. Had an issue in the past but thought I'd give them another shot... they have the best sausages, jalapeno & cheddar! Plus usually their moist brisket is delicious and today it was perfect. We split a XL combo of 3 meats. I wanted the brisket and sausages I asked about having more brisket than sausages, so two orders of it and the girl told me order 2 sausages and one brisket... yeah that was totally wrong. There was barely any to share of the brisket. But it was still delicious. Other than that the staff is amazingly helpful, they keep it clean, very helpful when you pick up your food. Such a fun place. It is very hard to figure out your food, I would say look at the menu before you go.

YES!! It can be hard to find good BBQ (dry, not good sauces, the list goes on) but this place is top notch. Pulled pork and brisket sandwich were excellent and their sides are a good size + very good!! The sauce selection is everything you need and more to make your sandwich experience one for the books. Staff is great and prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality. Try her out!!

Pic of 2 meat platter and brisket sandwich along with ribs! I love all of the sauce options (mix em up to make the perfect blend)

Came to Florida for my nieces birth and needed a good filling dinner, so of course being from Texas I went for BBQ- I chose mission due to their amazing reviews. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! HUGE HUGE shout out to Heather who came by our table to ask how we were and when we told her it was our first time she came back with a platter of all of their sides!! Super unexpected but very much appreciated- it shows how much they care about their customers! Now onto the food OOOOOOOOO it was soooo good!! I am still thinking about those ribs and that brisket! Wish I could've snuck it passed TSA without smelling like a bbq lol

I really enjoyed my first visit to Mission. The staff were super friendly, dining area was very clean and there was a ton of bbq sauce options to try! The brisket was our favorite with tons of flavor. The pulled pork and pulled chicken was also very good! Mac and cheese was average but paired well with the meats. Fries were delicious and fresh cut! Prices were a little high but still worth it!

The meatloaf was delicious! Sides are always fresh and tasty too! The meatloaf is a seasonal item but the brisket is out of this world !

Very poor service and cleanliness, not to mention small portions. A tip, next time don't ask a customer to move so you can clean a table.

We got the pulled pork sandwich, (the only tolerable item to eat) and the 2 meat combo with brisket & ribs. The sides were corn bread l, Mac & beans. The brisket was so dry, as shown in the photo and the ribs couldn't even been chewed off or cut off if we tried. They have two bbq sauces a smoked bbq sauce and a mustard sauce. No plain or basic bbq sauces. That could have made the pork a bit better. The Mac n cheese was good but came out cold. The beans tasted odd, then I looked at the menu and saw that they were vegetarian. Interesting. Lastly the cornbread... I couldn't believe it. It was soaked in some kind of hunny sauce. That was so sweet, if it was just the cornbread it would have tasted better. This is a hard pass. Sorry. Way too many places around to get good bbq.

He got the pulled pork with collard greens and beans. He liked it all. I tried his sides and they were great. I got the small brisket platter. There were only two slices of meat on the plate -- looked quite skimpy especially after removing the fatty edge. The meat was a bit dry and needed help -- by adding some of the sweet bbq sauce. I wouldn't order the brisket again. For my sides, I got the shells Mac n cheese. That was creamy. I liked it. And I got the sticky corn bread. That was a bit too sweet. I'd get it plain next time, if I got it again. We shared a sweet tea. I didn't care for it at all. There was so much honey flavor in it that it was almost thick and cloying. Not refreshing at all. I'd get a soda next time. For someone who loves sweet, I was surprised to ever find "too sweet" in my vocabulary. But I'd definitely come back to try the ribs or the pork. The pastrami sounds intriguing, but they don't always have it and it's not available on a set schedule. I asked about it and was told to call to see if they had it that day. But the lemony collards and beans will definitely be added into my future visit.

His sides were baked beans and mac n cheese. - server was attentive and kept our soda refilled Mild bummers: - Mac n cheese would be better if it had a crust on it - it was very loud here...not a huge deal breaker but given I have some hearing loss, it was hard for me to hear our server and my husband. There was an excessively loud table to our side and nobody used their "indoor voices". But it seemed every table was a bit loud and maybe it was because there are a lot of tvs and I know people were vocal while watching whatever was on. I just prefer no TVs in restaurants that are not sports bars. Oh well. Overall, we were satisfied and would come back again.

It was in the center of a plaza with a huge sign outside. I got the BBQ pork sandwich that came with 2 sides. The bread was so soft. I liked the sandwich. I didn't taste much seasonings in the pork. It was a good sandwich. I then ordered the corn fritters which were big, and excellent lol. I enjoyed them. I was happy with the meal. I ordered takeout out. I sat by the bar and waited for it. The staff was friendly. I didn't have to wait long and it was an enjoyable time. I liked the music playing and again the staff was great.

There were a couple trucks parked when we entered the shopping center on the SE corner of Congress and Lantana. My husband knew they were not the right ones. We drove around to find the Family Dollar store. Yes! Right where they said they'd be. There was even a picnic table right out front where we could dine. You order and pay at the window. Your food is packed to go which worked out as we brought a few things home. They do a lot of takeout, obviously. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich. I got the rib sandwich. We shared a small order of baked beans. And he also got some banana pudding. His pulled pork was tender. He added some of their sweet sauce to taste. Ate every bit. My rib sandwich was also very good. I had it open faced. Didn't even need to add sauce. And brought a couple ribs home. The baked beans were fantastic. Nice bits of meat and great flavor. The pudding was my least favorite -- I only had a taste, but too many cookies for me. We even got to meet Howard. He came out to check all was good. And later he said hi to a few of his regular customers. He told us everything is "house" made. What a nice touch to meet the chef/founder! I now know where we will come when we have a bbq craving. And I need to try their rib tips and brisket as well.
