Their brunch list, on the other hand, had much more to offer, so my friend and I stopped in there for a late afternoon meal. We had gotten held up shopping around town, so we arrived close to the end of their brunch time window, and the place was completely empty. The restaurant's rustic, Mediterranean elegance was not lost on us, however. We kept it simple and only ordered main dishes. I opted for the Tofu Scramble, which was plated with a side of Calabrian deep-fried potatoes and some sort of spicy tomatillo salsa that was studded with chickpeas. The whole dish had a lot of seasoning, but it was greasy. I tried a few of my friend's za'atar fries, and they were also very oily. She thought her Fried Chicken Sandwich was decent, though. We both felt like REYLA was a stunning restaurant with just above mediocre food. I would not be opposed to going back there, but I would not rush there either.

We don't come as often as we used to because yes it is pricey but I would much rather come here and have a special night with incredible service, food, and drinks than still spend over $100 at another restaurant and get average food. The Grand Tavern is unpretentious, welcoming, entrees offer sizable portions. I have NEVER left hungry. Main complaints I see are price - again, yes it's expensive but it's worth it. Also you can see the menu before you go, how do you not know what you're walking into?? Complaints about the burger. First of all the menu changes seasonally. There's no way their patty is frozen. Everything is FRESH AF. And yeah, American cheese is king on a burger. Again, it's on the menu what did you expect? This is a restaurant that has literally never disappointed. Their happy hour is really good in terms of food and drink specials. The owners are great people that are actively involved and focused on the customer experience. They have a huge bar in nicely renovated building. I definitely recommend Patrick's if you're coming to the shore or live here year round like me. Great place.

Everyone at my table raved about their food from the pasta Arrabiata, to the veal special to what I had which was the crab pasta. There was so much crab and the sauce was so light. We all ordered the Rodizio and were very happy we did. The hot and cold buffet offered a large selection of salads, vegetables and proteins (including meats!) as well as sides for the main course. We knew enough not to fill up with the carbs to save room for the meats. We would have been happy with just the buffet! The Rodizio came out hot, fast and nonstop. They come out first with chicken and pork, wait for the good stuff! The Pincanha was my favorite, along with the filet mingon and other steaks. The short ribs were chewy (maybe just a bad cut) and the lamb was gamey according to a guest - otherwise excellent. Try the grilled pineapple - very good. We had 3 large bottles of wine turned into sangria to 'die for'. Highly recommended. One thing I did not like was the bill included an automatic 20% tip (fine that's what I usually tip) but added another line for a tip. Maybe it's what they all do now but I believe 20% is generous. How many people didn't realize and tipped 40% by accident! Also strangely, they don't have voicemail, so if you call on a Tuesday (when they are closed) no machine picks up so you think they are out of business. That's a simple fix. I highly recommend Flames Brazilian Steakhouse and although it sounds expensive, it's no more than what you would pay at any other good restaurant. Well done.

I actually even ordered a second one because I don't know when I will ever get back down here I loved the bread service. It came with not just classic olive oil, but there was whipped ricotta cheese, and there was also some capers and olives, which were absolutely delicious. I started with the house salad. The presentation and the taste were absolutely amazing. I then had the halibut which was out of this world it was cooked perfectly . The flavor was amazing and then for dessert I had their special mini Zeppoli's half filled with Nutella and half filled with cannoli cream. I don't usually eat like this, but I figured I would treat myself for once and I enjoyed every moment of it and I cannot wait for the time when I can go back here
