Broke the mould with this one! Not your typical earthy cookie cutter restaraunt in the hills, this place is a unique offering that has style and substance! I feel like there's no 'bad' seats here as whilst outside the deck was beautiful and spacious the inside was just as trendy and gorgeous. Theres a variety of great cocktails and I was really happy to see them included on the lunch menu because you know, it's 6pm somewhere in the world right!?! Haha With a firecracker of a menu mixing mexican, tapas and burgers no one goes hungry here. We ordered the broccolini with a curd and the southern fried chicken burger with a side of fries, fabulous options and not your typical burrito/taco/bean heavy menu. The food was excellent and the hint of mexican corn relish in the burger really brought it home. Coffees delivered a thick and tasty kick so claps all around. Finally, like holy wow the staff were attentive and friendly. I felt like they both really cared about our time there and while the food all arrived on time they checked what we were having to see how long it would be etc. Finally to illustrate how good this place was when my partner ordered an extra order of fries ontop of his meal he was warned that he might be stuck with too many but no, my bae does love potatoes like we're going through a famine. Best Ribs I've had out!! It literally falls off the bone (and I hadn't really been able to say that when I've ordered ribs eating out). I've licked my fingers dry (in the most courteous possible manner that is) - because the BBQ flavoured sauce on this is extraordinary. Even though we've had to, I have not left my seat until I have written this honest review - for it is worth the admiration! Not wanting to have a sip of any kind of drink right now, for I need the Amazing TASTE to stay in my mouth for as long as possible! And oh boy! Great food, good customer service and a nice view, I have enjoyed coming here a number of times. Their burgers are a real treat and made with quality ingredients. As a person who is becoming more conscious about their meat eating habits I was also glad to see that the meat was local. The chips that come with the burgers are your classic french fries which gained browny points with me also. The last time I had dinner here I decided to branch out from the burgers and try one of their pastas and boy was I glad. I ordered the broccoli, prawn, chilli and garlic with gnocci and it was divine. There was just the right amount of chilli and the gnocci was nice and fluffy, the only complaint I could have was the amount of prawns (there were only five in the dish). This place is worth making the trip up into the hills. I especially recommend coming here on a rainy day/night, the view out onto the rainy Stirling streets is truly magical. read more

I'm hard to please on a Friday night. I get to a point at about 4.30pm on Friday arvo when i become like a 3yo toddler that needs specific things (space from other people, a few cold beers, not work, nothing annoying) otherwise i get super grumpy and occasionally throw tantys. However, there were no tantys to be had at Miss Perez. Such a pleasing night out. The menu has changed, which i was apprehensive about when we first arrived.....but still there were no tantys. It seems the kitchen has moved to a simpler, cheaper menu but haven't compromised on flavour or quality. I, for one, can see a much clearer logic to not keeping a heap of different tapas dishes on hand (potentially leading to loads of waste!) We grazed on the potato skins, prawn and veg gyozas (fried dumplings) and an amazing jamon on scrumptious 'truffled' toasts, while we perused the main menu. Eventually we chose the trout, pirri pirri chicken, pork fillet and i had the slow cooked beef ribs. Sides of greens and grilled corn rounded out an absolutely amazing main. Everyone loved all of their meals. All well cooked and well presented. The service was bang on. Attentive but not swarming which is difficult to pull off when there are a few empty tables (which there were - not heaps, but a few). We couldn't fit in any dessert but the choices looked great. There is local wine on the list. ..and O/S choices too. If you're looking to grab a decent bite up in the hills, come check out Miss Perez. You won't be disappointed! read more

Well hello Miss Perez! A lovely addition to the Adelaide Hills town Stirling. There are quite a few well regarded eating establishments in this hood, and Miss Perez just took things to a whole new level. Highlights for the table: King fish ceviche, aubergine cigars with whipped feta, scallops baked in baby onions with gorgonzola (the tabled was quick to order additional serves) and truffled egg yolk raviolo. I was very happy to see some my favourites on the drinks menu - Golden Axe Cider and Maidenii vermouth mixed into delicious cocktails. Wines were a little off the mark for me, with only international on the menu. I liked to see local wines (at least one..?), with so many great wine producers in SA, not to mention in the Adelaide Hills, it might have been nice to see a few more local wines on offer. Make sure youre seated somewhere that lets you admire the amazing wall art, Miss Perez you're captivating. read more

Very nice spot, great decor and friendly staff. We ordered beef Ragù pasta and Perez Burger (200 gr). The pasta was nicely sauced by a bit overcooked and the Ragù needed more seasoning for sure. The burger was the signature burger of the bar. Very nice butter toasted brioche bun, nice burger patty but was over cooked although it has been emphasised it will be served medium. The burger really asks for more flavour such as pickles or maybe some English mustard. But all and all it was a pleasant experience and maybe we'll visit it some time soon. read more

If you have NEVER been to Miss Perez, then you surely MUST put it on your list for "beautiful, quirky, fun places to visit for a mini road trip by day for a sweet cafe rendezvous, especially on an Autumn Saturday - or for warmth, wine and delectable sweets by night". A rabbit warren of little rooms allows for more private catch ups with family or to contain the littler rascals into one area, or pull up a stool at one of the two long communal tables sitting beside the wall sized mural of presumably the one Miss Perez. With gas fires ready to defrost your mitts and bits after a cool run from your car to the shop, wide range of local and not-so-local wineries, a kitchen which creates foods that will tantalize your tastebuds and coffee for days, you cannot miss this place anymore! Plus, (can there really be more????!!!), the interior design is enough to make you want to purchase an old warehouse and transform it into a thing of beauty. I wish that it was possible to give a negative number of stars to a place, as only that would adequately capture our experience. After waiting more than an hour to be served food, my son was served the equivalent of a chicken tender, broken into pieces as if we wouldn't notice. My husband's burger was served incorrect, despite him clearly explaining the desired changes. Worst of all, I was served a burger that I hadn't ordered (and that was inedible). When I pointed out the differences between what was listed on the menu and what I was given, the response was essentially a shrug. When I asked for a menu to order something else, I was told that they couldn't really tell me what they did or didn't have, as they were sold out of almost everything. They then told me that if I really wanted to order something, they could check if they maybe had it. The food and customer service were both terrible. I would avoid at all costs- there are so many better places in Stirling to enjoy. read more

First time here. Wanted to check out what everyone is talking about. Perfect opportunity when a scoopon voucher came up for buger, chips and a drink deal. So we booked for lunch and off we took a drive out to Stirling. We weren't disappointed. We ordered the Southern fried chicken burger and the Perz burger. Service was great and welcoming. Great cocktail menu and a great starters/ mains/ shared platters too. So if burgers arent your thing, they have you covered too. Straight up, I Love it. Finally Stirling has a funky restaurant/bar, Hallelujah!. Miss Perez has probably the best location in Stirling and can be found on the corner of Druids Ave & Mt Barker Rd, looking out over the picturesque main street of Stirling. I love sitting out on the balcony with a Mexican beer on a hot sunny day with a bowl of chipotle popcorn. The decode is awesome, very casual feeling with planter boxes on the walls and exposed warehouse style lighting. I'm still waiting for a chance to go for dinner but Miss Perez ticks all the boxes so far. Stay tuned for more! read more

A beautiful new restaurant & bar in Stirling. We visited for coffees post-lunch & the menu, whilst limited, made us wish we'd eaten there. The Latin American flavour fusion looked really appetising. Our coffees were well made & the service was fantastic. All staff were knowledgeable, friendly & willing to answer any questions. We were there to ascertain whether it would suit my 30th birthday party & walked away thinking the decking area would suit such a shindig really well. And if the 70-odd guests didn't quite fit, the staff advised us that half the restaurant could be commandeered for our use & the conveniently located second glass door entry would make this easily work. I have been visiting Ms Perez since it opened. The food is consistant but sadly the staff are not, as was the case this evening. The first part of the service was good but on finishing the meal we were unattended for a good 20 minutes with masses of empty plates on the table, and although the place was half full (!) the waitress thought it more important to polish glasses than clear the table or offer us desserts. We had just about decided to call it quits and go over the road for dessert when the Guy prompted the waitress to attend us. Not the best evening we've had there. read more

Talk about great, friendly, genuine service!! I was out for a morning ride and got to Stirling earlier than expected and Miss Perez weren't open yet. The guys were setting up and I asked if I could get a coffee. Without even blinking they said no problem, offered to fill up my water bottles and even went to get the paper!!! A picturesque spot in Stirling, an ideal 'destination location', a drive through the hills with a quirky food stop, sounds delightful..... - no initial interaction by staff, - approached counter, told to sit down as it is table service. - 30mins pass before water is brought to the table and food order taken. - 50mins later, food is served. (keeping in mind it is midweek and not busy.) Burgers were tasty, chips and sauces standard. chicken was presented well, with a nice spice. (potato skins were essentially crisps with melted cheese and garlic sauce, definitely worth a miss.) at the end of the meal, advised staff of disappointment with the time the meal took, which was met with a dumbfounded gaze. overall... food was interesting. service was rubbish. read more

I'm sure this place would have been great. In fact, we were so keen to try it, we drove from the other side of the city. Being a Fathers Day Sunday, we, also being sensible and aware adults, rang ahead to make sure if there was any chance at all of being seated BEFORE taking the drive across town into Stirling. We fully expected a flat no and sorry. Instead we were pleasantly surprised. Sure they said, I'm sure we can seat you when you come. It will be busy but we'll find you a spot. We'll see you when you get here. 35mins later, 4yr old kid tired and hungry, cold and windy day. We arrive. Excited at the prospect of warm food and wine. We are greeted with bewilderment and 'duh, what are you doing here' looks. The gronk who told me to come - Henry - throws of to some poor woman holding a list and an apologetic blank stare. 'Um, I'm sorry but we're booked out'. We explained that we rang ahead and were told to come. 'It's Fathers Day'. Oh really. Thank you. The rock we crawled out from does not have a calendar. No joke you numpty, that's why we called. We left in disgust. No creativity, no contrition, no solution to a problem they created. This is the worst thing about people in this industry, the inability to respond to people in a reasonable manner. If it's busy, say it's not likely you'll be seated. No harm, no foul. What you don't do is disregard the idea that maybe people will be highly inconvenienced by your frivolous words. We went to the far superior Locavore place across the road. Crazy, it was Father's Day there too, and yet they got creative and seated us. Perez - you have much work to do, when you couldn't even make a seating happen. Stopped in here afyer a drive out for a burger and a wine... what a great, cute little spot!! My partner had their signature beef burger and he said it was up there in his top 5 burgers... I had the chicken burger and it was huge! A nice selection of wines too from local providers makes this place the place to go for a relaxing drink and a bite to eat if you're in the area. This restaurant has been radically overpriced since opening.The food is very ordinary. Last time we went there we got ripped off: we ordered , amongst other things, prawns for $18.00. Well, to our astonishment, 5 of the smallest prawns ( like big shrimps) arrived, each on a wooden skewer. That was it. For money that would buy a decent gourmet meal in nearby cafes. Then recently I went again to give it another go. This is in spite of everyone in the community complaining about the poor value. So this time I ordered Jamon and toast for lunch. The waitress informed me it was a focaccia type meal with some truffle on the toast. The menu said truffle oil.These tiny mostly burnt bits of toast arrived ( Turkish bread sliced thinly in the conventional vertical manner of normal bread) with very thinly sliced super salty ham. That is it. Lunch!! $15.00 What a rip off . No truffle flavour was evident. No truffle in sight, only black grill lines on toast. I do not know who writes all these rave reviews of this place, but they cannot be local people, who all think this Miss Perez is a rip off. I will not be giving this restaurant another try. This weekend I got even more annoyed with Miss Perez's poor value because 9 of us went to a lovely restaurant 20 minutes from Miss Perez. Here we experienced value for money in a whole new building which they have to amortise presumably. Miss Perez only has a new kitchen and fit out to pay for. So impressed with the quality of service and food for lunch on Sunday. We stopped in and did not have a long time for lunch so were considering ordering take away. The super friendly and accommodating waitress greeted us, offered us a seat and some water while we had a read of the menus. We decided that the look of the food being served around us was too good not to dine in. Everything on the menu sounded amazing so it was hard to choose and the prices were very reasonable. We had the chicken burger and the fish and chips and could not fault the food in one bit. Quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and delicately presented. The best burger i have had in Adelaide. Amazing food and on Sunday nights they have a great deal for $25 p/person, where you get to sample their entree's and share a couple of mains. The only downside is some of the staff are quite up themselves, so if can be unwelcoming. They think they're pretty cool. read more
