Pricepoint- I work in Brooklyn- try finding a healthy meal for under 10 dollars. Also break down the time to drive to the supermarket, shop, prep, cook, put in containers. With that being said, I feel the price is reasonable. Quality- everything I ordered was very enjoyable and didn't regret any dish I picked. My only complaint- a few of the dishes had undercooked rice. Awaiting my next order and many more. Game changer for me.

(You save money if you pre-order and commit to a plan for the week. From what I understand, you can pre-select exactly which meals you want. I am told they have more options available online than they stock in store. You can also add on a delivery option.) We have tried at least 10 different meals, between my boyfriend and I. The meals we have experienced mostly range from good to great. There were one or two that I really liked, otherwise I wouldn't say that they're exceptional or particularly exciting. (4 stars because there have not been any meals so far that I haven't liked.) My favorites so far have been the spicy lemongrass chicken dumplings and the cheddar bbq steak bowl. My coworker really enjoys the frozen protein drinks. The meals are small- however perfectly portion controlled for me. A little expensive for the amount of protein- my boyfriend definitely needs at least two to hold him over for lunch. It's a good start for someone who is trying to lose weight / be mindful of their carb/protein intake, especially if meal prepping is difficult for you. Otherwise, honestly I feel like I could cook most of the meals myself and adjust the flavors more to my liking. This service is certainly a convenient option for those who prefer not to cook or go out for lunch everyday. We like to grab a few to have as options for the week, it saves a lot of time and money. The less decisions for us to make later, the better. The store has a decent selection, which changes routinely. They have at least 10, maybe even 15 options when you walk in. The staff is friendly and accommodating when approached, but otherwise indifferent. We serve ourselves, which I kind of prefer because you can look around and check out the different options. The only thing I would change about the store is that there is no menu posted to summarize the different meal options for the day/week. The only way to know what is in the different fridges is to physically open each fridge and take inventory yourself. Out of all of the meal prep services I am familiar with, so far this one is the most convenient for me locally. I am a personal trainer and have ordered from many different meal prep companies. I used to pay $50 just for the shipping from Florida- so this is definitely easier on my wallet. Bottom line- I suggest you check out this service to see what they're made of yourself. $10/meal isn't going to break the bank, plus the meals are healthier than what you can usually find for takeout.

When I brought this to the assistant's attention, she called her supervisor and explained that the label had not been updated to reflect the new price. While I understand pricing errors can happen, good customer service would have been to honor the clearly marked price and correct future labels--not insist I pay more than what was advertised. Instead, I was told I had to pay the higher price. It left me questioning the store's pricing practices. This isn't the first disappointing experience. On another occasion, the same assistant refused to let me return a meal I had just purchased--despite the fact that I hadn't even left the store and only wanted to exchange it because my daughter changed her mind. Additionally, I've noticed that the portion sizes of the meals have been shrinking noticeably over the past year. Overall, I'm becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the service and value at this location.

I wanted to go with protein rich but lower calorie options that I could easily heat up at work, so I grabbed a chicken penne alla vodka and the low carb hibachi chicken. I do wish the hibachi chicken came with a bit of spice as the sauce was only sweet, but I just threw on some sriracha once I got home. Portions are very generous. I actually divided up the two meals into three containers. The veggies in the low carb hibachi chicken meal tasted great. Overall, especially with the BOGO option, these meals are good quality, fresh, and reasonably priced. They also had a lot of nutrition conscious snacks and breakfast foods. I would visit again when I'm in a bind for meal prepping.

I've tried so many of their fresh and frozen meals - not limited to shrimp, salmon, steak, chicken meals. There are a variety of flavors as well and I love how clean their ingredients are! My husband and I gravitated towards redefine meals over other meal prep stores because of their clean, simple ingredients and use of avocado oils. I also love how they offer frozen meals as well for a discount. I bought a few of them and there was no lack of taste or flavor when warmed/thawed. I am also extremity grateful for the first responder discount offered. It is helpful for those who don't have the best schedules to at least have a healthy, fueling meal so I really appreciate that offering. Looking at all the food vendors, decided to give these guys a try. The stuff I saw coming out of this tent was crazy! The scotch egg, a little darker than I expected. looks like those friers were getting a workout and the oil was a little dirty. The hand pie was pretty tasty, had a good pulled pork and cheese filling. needed to drain a little, came out very hot and grease dripping off of it into the paper. The taco tray was 3 tacos of all their different meats. filled to the gills with every topping they had and heavy. I wouldn't be able to tell you how a single person could even feasibly eat 3 tacos from this place, they were that filled. And I saw the garbage plate they offered...That's a 4 person operation.
