The time from order to pickup is consistently fast, and the food is hot at pickup. It is a great place for take-out food. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is errors in order-taking; it has happened so many times that before leaving the parking lot we always check to ensure we've recieved the correct items.

I tried to give this new spot a fair shot, especially because it's so close to me, but it was pretty disappointing to say the least. The cooked food selection was limited. No fried oysters?! On top of that, the cooked food that we did order was bland and bordered on nursing home food. Service was very slow even though it wasn't busy. It took almost an hour for the sushi to be served and we only ordered 2 rolls and a few pieces of nigiri. I noticed that there were way more waitstaff than sushi chefs. The interior was decorated beautifully and the employees were nice, but that's really the only positive thing I have to say :(

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

I so wanted to love this place, and was so excited to try it when reading the menu. Otoro? Ramen?…read moreGyudon? It all sounded like the perfect restaurant, but I'm really hesitant to return. Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

I ordered the Judy Roll, spicy salmon, spicy crab, and the Crazy Tuna Roll. The Judy Roll was really good, and the Crazy Tuna Roll ended up being my favorite of the night. I honestly expected the place to be much busier because the atmosphere and food were solid. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
