Very tasty place! It had good sushi and food. Standard pricing and what you would expect for classic items. More casual so you'll shouldn't come too dressed up. More simple decorations and it is a cute small place. But, if you are looking for something more upscale, this might not be the right place but keep this place in mind! Very family owned feeling and it's a more small and intimate restaurant. Waitress and front desk worker ran the restaurant for all of the tables. Service was fast and speedy too.

So far the most consistent, friendly, and delicious fresh sushi in the area! This is a mom and pop place and is my go to for a sushi craving. Their sushi is super fresh and all the fish used is equally just as fresh. My partner usually gets the Hwe Dup Bop- which is a raw fish bibimbap with TONS of fresh greens, avocado, shredded radish and you eat it together with warm steamed white rice and gochujang mixed altogether. Their house salad is the freshest house salad ever at a sushi restaurant and their ginger carrot dressing is superb! The owner is such a nice lady and adds to the entire experience. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice family owned restaurant on a quiet street. We were first customers of the day and the place was quiet except for K Pop music. Started w some hot teas, then miso soup or salad. The sushi and sashimi were all fresh, large and tasty. We had leftovers to take two small boxes to the kids. Nice place, off street parking and charming atmosphere.

I love this place . This spot used to be a Korean restaurant but now it is a family owned restaurant that serves sushi and Korean food. It is a small place though with maybe 10 tables varying from 4-8 chairs. Parking is limited to the few spots up front and a couple spots in the back. The prices for lunch special are very affordable and fair. I got the 3 rolls for $13 and I was full and satisfied after eating everything. I really like the ginger dressing of the salad. It's chunkier and less watery than a Japanese place I worked as a server at so that was interesting. Presentation of all the food was phenomenal. I truly like their salmon. Some places have salmon that tastes odd to me but their was fabulous. Their spicy tuna and shrimp are actually spicy compared to your usual place. In regards to the salmon bento box, I like how the salmon rests on a blanket of broccoli and carrots which is on top of a bed of rice. Overall, I enjoyed this place and will come again!

Family owned restaurant, serving delicious sushi, sashimi and variety of Japanese dishes. The restaurant is pretty small, with space for 8-9 tables. Inside is little bit cramped. They have a decent menu, with lots of sushi sashimi variety, and combos up to 60 pieces. There are other appetizers items and main to try as well. All the items we tasted from sushi sashimi to fried fish, japchae al were delicious. I kept eating through out our dinner time, until we left the restaurant. They serve food within a manageable wait time, and the service is good.

Went for friends gathering for 11 people. They did good job on keeping the orders coming out. Food is pretty good. Nothing bad but nothing super amazing. Great dinner spot!

We had heard from a friend that a new good sushi restaurant had opened up in Edison and I was happy to hear it. Quite frankly the Edison area is oddly slim pickings when it comes to good sushi and sashimi. To get my fix I've traveled to Princeton and even as far as north NJ. I'm glad there's now a good option closer to home. We ordered the sashimi regular and 2 special rolls - the salmon lover and the dynamite roll. Everything was very good and service and wait time after ordering was on point. The sashimi consisted of 2 white fishes likely snapper and yellow tail, salmon, tuna and octopus. They were served with wasabi and soy sauce but also with Korean chogochujang. The restaurant has a bit of a Korean flare as the owners are native Korean speakers and they have items such as bibimbap and even a Korean sashimi dish on the menu, I think it starts with an H. Everything tasted very good. It came with a bowl of miso soup and a delicious bowl of salad that was served with a refreshing ginger dressing. The rolls also were very good with generous pieces of sashimi and tasty rice. They were rolled well and pretty generously portioned. Also the restaurant is byob and the manager who came by to say hello was very personable and friendly. I saw they have some very good lunch specials on the menu too we will try next time.

Got the lunch special--guy on the phone was nice enough to give it to me even though lunch specials are not available on Saturday (I didn't know when I called). The rolls were good, especially the shrimp tempura. I didn't receive any soy sauce packets when I opened the bag when I got home though, so make sure to ask for some.

Great food, attentive service, nice decor. I selected chicken teriyaki, tasty, plenty of food, lunch tomorrow. My sister, husband picked Hawaiian sushi, K pop roll, Naruto roll. They loved it! I tried Asian plum tea, very fruity, good. Shrimp human, tasty.

Small cozy restaurant with great food! The sashimi platter we ordered was so fresh and food came out pretty quickly. Would highly recommend giving them a try!

As a belated birthday celebration, my friend and I went to Miso Sushi to satisfy our sushi craving. When we got there at 7:30 pm, the place was completely empty, and it interestingly stayed that way during our entire visit. We each got personal appetizers and two rolls. My friend got pork gyozas (6) and I got takoyaki which came at the conclusion of our meal. My takoyaki was delicious and did not disappoint. I got the shrimp tempura and mango/avocado roll which were both tasty, and the mango/avocado combination was especially refreshing. My friend got the sweet potato and asparagus roll, and she was equally satisfied by her choices.

My family and I came here for lunch. It's a very cute small place. We loved it! Sushi was delicious, and the food shrimp tempura udon soup was amazing! Price was pretty expensive, but worth it! Would definitely love to come back!

They are honestly the best sushi restaurant in the area. You can't go wrong by coming here. Their sushi is the freshest. I don't know where they source their fish but it's amazing! I honestly think they're on par with the sushi I had in Japan, and the sushi in Japan is the best quality

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

I so wanted to love this place, and was so excited to try it when reading the menu. Otoro? Ramen?…read moreGyudon? It all sounded like the perfect restaurant, but I'm really hesitant to return. Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

Upon entering, you've entered a high speed Japanese train with lights and signage surrounding you. The little train cars that bring your food are super fun, and the conveyor belt is actually filled with food. The little robots that bring you appetizers are a fun touch too! There's a great mix of both sushi and cooked food here, and each dish has such amazing flavor (which is surprising for an AYCE establishment.) I was fully expecting something to taste off or not hit the mark, but that never came. While the sushi rolls are fun, the cooked food is definitely the star. The fried rice was flavorful, meats had great sear to them and the sauces were tasty. I've never been to an all you can eat that had agedashi tofu, so it was a surprise to me seeing this on the menu! Whether you're into raw sushi or cooked meals, there's food for everyone. I fully understand why wait times are so long - we waited for 1.5 hours for an early weekend dinner. Definitely need to visit this place at least once, maybe twice, or just all the time, because the bang for your buck here is unreal!

So when a friend chose Sushi O for her birthday outing I was less than excited, I was told they had hibachi style chicken and steak so that softened the blow. Sushi O is conveniently located off of route 1 in a medium size plaza with a good amount of parking. When you walk in, the soothing dim lights with the soft purple icicle lights is such a vibe, great for a date night. The music also has a soothing quality that almost puts you in a calming trance. The restaurant is well kept and clean. Let me tell you, the servers? Top notch. We were helped by a man when we first came in, and later a woman. Both were incredibly pleasant, attentive, and did not rush us at all. We were there from just before 6 until after 8... a record for our after work crowd!! I also left my favorite sunglasses behind which would have been so upsetting, but our female server ran out to make sure I did not leave without them, I was so appreciative. Last but certainly not least- the FOOD! So remember, I'm a sushi hater? No longer! They had a fantastic peanut and avocado roll that I ordered with soy paper instead of seaweed (I really don't like the taste of the sea) paired with the soy sauce it was a nice amalgamation of flavor and texture, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered pan fried gyoza and edamame for the table both extremely well executed. A friend said the gyoza was melt in your mouth quality and I felt that was quite accurate. I tried my friend's sweet potato roll which did have seaweed wrap on it but I actually really liked that too! For my meal I got hibachi steak. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I'm not big on mushrooms but I even gobbled those up- so good! With the hibachi meals you get plenty of food- salad, miso soup, your choice of hibachi style protein, hibachi mixed vegetables & hibachi rice. I had such a great experience at Sushi O, I will definitely be back. They have officially converted me!
