Although I have used Donald many times in the past, he was oddly unresponsive to a plumbing emergency Although I have always been satisfied with Miser plumbing in the past, I will likely not use them going forward given they didn't respond to multiple voice or text messages read more

Donald was fantastic! He was prompt, professional, and quickly fixed our garbage disposal. He explained the issue clearly and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Great service at a fair price--I highly recommend Donald of Miser plumbing west! read more

We contacted Miser Plumbing West 12/30/24 and got a quick response from Donald. I explained that my garbage disposal wasn't working, and he was available next day. He came in got the job done in about an hour. He had all the materials he needed with him, very friendly, and professional. Donald will be our new go to plumber! Would definitely recommend for your plumbing services! read more

Will use again--Kitchen/disposal clog. Quick service during holidays, diagnosed and fixed the problem, gave reasonable quote and flexible payment (Venmo). Sink works great again thanks to Donald! read more

Randy and Donald worked with our tenant's schedule, and got the job done to their satisfaction (our tenants set a high bar), and at a reasonable price to boot! Thanks Miser!! You are our go-to guys now!! read more

We had a really good experience with Miser Plumbing. It was nice to be able to get emergency visit on a Sat. Don was super knowledgeable & fixed our leak within the hour. Good Plumbers are worth their weight in gold. I would definitely call again if I have more plumbing issues; he has replaced our old plumber! read more

Great service! Called and spoke with Donald and told him we needed new toilets installed. We scheduled the appointment for later in the week. He was on time and ready to go. After installing the toilets and explaining why we needed to get new ones he cleaned up after himself and left. I would highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs. Since then we have called him out for various other issues (leaking faucets, water pressure). read more

These guys are the real deal. We had some tree roots blocking our mainline so the whole house was stopped up, it was a nightmare.. I hit up yelp looking for a South Bay plumber and called Miser Plumbing who said they could help us out. Donald showed up quick and gave us the most affordable options.. Really good advise actually. not some BS sales pitch. Then he proceeded to yank the toilet and rip those roots out. We were back up and running in 45 minutes. After that, he intuitively stopped my toilet from constantly wasting water. Bottom line these guys are affordable, honest, clean and helpful. Just straight up amazing service! read more

Such a breathe of fresh air. Donald called back quickly, texted me when he was coming and did a great, clean job. Had a pipe clog that he fixed and when he left you would never know he was there. Nice guy, too. Highly recommend! read more

Don has been my plumber for 5 years. His work is amazing. He prices are good for his quality of work. I would recommend him to everyone.

I had Donald come by to look at replacing a number of old angle stops in a condo I own and install an recessed icemaker box for the refrigerator. All the work was done very well, and although the recessed box became more of a project then anticipated he still finished in the same amount of time and within the quoted price. Donald was very responsive and did excellent work. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing jobs. read more

I had a faucet that I was unable to install (without leaking) after several attempts. So I gave up and contacted Miser Plumbing. Donny quoted me a reasonable price, and then he stuck with that price even though the job ended up being much more complicated than anyone thought and required multiple visits to finish. It's a family business, and I met both father and son. Both were very nice, and I was fully satisfied with the finished job. read more

If you're like me, I'm very picky about who works on my cars and home. Finding a competent and trusting plumber is similar to finding an automobile mechanic. They need to be honest, fair, competent, and trustworthy. This exactly describes Donald (owner/operator of Miser Plumbing West). Had a leak under the house and used Home Advisor services. Donald contacted me shortly after I had submitted a request for plumbing services. Right off the bat, Donald made a great first impression. Answered all of my questions, was very professional, and offered to come inspect my problem with NO service charges (most other plumbing companies charge you to inspect the issue). We agreed on a service date/time. He arrived exactly on time and crawled under the house to inspect the leak. He determined that there was a small leak in one my pressurized pipes and provided me with several options to resolve the issue. No sales pressure here...just the facts. I chose my option and he happily took it from there. Here's my honest feedback. Donald is a very friendly and competent plumber. His level of integrity impressed me throughout the entire process and he is a person of great character. I'm so happy to have found Donald and will be using his services from here on. I highly recommend giving Donald a call if you have plumbing needs. Oh, by the way, he charges less than all of the other plumbers I've used in the past :) Thanks for reading. read more

Miser plumbing is awesome. Moved into a place with shower that didn't have cold water. Donnie looked at it real quick and fixed the moen fixture super quick. Very easy to work with and he will jump through the hoops that hoa makes you go through. Highly recommended and easy to work with. read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I had such a great experience working with Donald that I had to leave him a 5 star review. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We had a really bad leak coming from our water heater in the middle of the night and it was clear that it needed to be replaced. Our landlord called Donald and I swear he was at our house in less than 20 minutes to take a look. He stopped the leaking for the night and was back first thing in the morning with a new unit which he installed in just a few hours. Donald is the real deal. Fast, communicative, quality work, trustworthy, down to earth - he even took his shoes off when he came into our house! read more

As everybody else says, working with Miser was a total pleasure. My go-to company that I've used in the past was apparently sold and the new owners have less-than-stellar Yelp reviews so I looked around here (and on Angie's list) and Miser came up with top marks all around. I had them replace a hot water heater for me and while here also took care of a slow-draining bathroom sink. The work was done efficiently and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. Nice guy too, on top of it all! Totally recommended. read more

I would highly recommend Miser Plumbing West! I had a major stoppage in the bathroom so I called one of the bigger companies only to find that their quote was outrageous!!! So I called a friend and she told me to call Miser Plumbing West and ask for Donald. Wow! He actually answered the phone, was very courteous and personable. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, had a nice truck with all the equipment that he needed to do the job. He explained the situation and what he needed to do and gave me a quote. He worked very hard to resolve my problem and cleaned up after he was finished. He wrote a detailed invoice as to what the problem was and what he did to take care of it. His price was less than half of the the bigger well known company. I really like supporting the mom and pop businesses in the South Bay. So the next time you need a plumber, I would definitely give Donald a call. read more

He is just awesome! Really trustful, makes you feel comfortable when entering your home. Super nice guy. Highly recommended

Randy and his son Don are great guys and simply the best at what they do! I can say that after nearly two decades of having had them work on our condominium building and my own unit. They've done it all - water heater and appliance installations, copper pipe pinhole leaks, drain clearing, repiping, shut off valves -- and lots of good advice on how to avoid or fix plumbing problems. read more
