She moved her office (I'll update once I find out where), but I didn't keep the info on the…read morelocation because I really don't want to see her anymore. She has no sense of doctor-patient cordiality/manners. She's not very friendly at all and seems very detached from and disinterested in her patients. I really did not like the way I was treated. It's hard to verbalize, but you'll know exactly what I mean if you choose to see her. That's exactly how my experience was--people told me about her and I couldn't understand what they meant, but when I saw her the first time, it all made sense. Her nurses are downright rude to top off her complete lack of emotion or genuineness. I've heard that, despite the negatives I mentioned, she knows her stuff, but she's not what I'm looking for. She's a bit too cold for me.

I have several chronic medical conditions and have been going to Patient First which isn't the best for someone like me. I was looking for someone who could give me all my prescriptions etc. Dr. Cella spent about an hour with me - she talked to me, took a full history, and I got a physical with lots of extra bloodwork because she wanted to test my vitamin d levels as well as screen me for celiac disease based on what my symptoms are. She was really nice and I walked out with 2 prescriptions for my insomnia and my anxiety disorder, as well as 2 referrals for an allergist and a dermatologist. Her office even made the appt for me for the dermatologist before I left. I'm excited to find a good PCP. The office is located behind JW hospital in the medical office park.

It was a very busy place. I arrived for my 930 new patient appointment at about 935. There was a registration line of several people. When it was my turn, I was greeted by a friendly person and went through the check-in and copay procedure, including digital forms on a tablet. I then had to wait in line, again, to give the tablet back. Then, it was off to wait. About 1020, (45 mins later), I was called back to be advised I arrived too late and would need to reschedule. I mentioned I was only about 8 mins late (including waiting in the registration line) and was advised new patients are supposed to arrive 15 mins early, so I was outside the 15 minute window. I get the late policies. I felt horrible for being a couple minutes late, but I was definitely within the 15 minute window. However, I wasn't advised I needed to arrive by 915, I was told my appointment was at 930 and to bring my ID, insurance card, and list of medications (I took notes). And, if I was outside the arrival window, why was I allowed to register, pay my co-payment, and sit for 45 minutes just to be told to reschedule? Patients are usually advised of late arrival at registration. Thanks for wasting my time off from work. Will I get my $25 back? (It applied to the next visit!) I'm adding one star for the friendliness of the registration clerk and the doctor. I was able to reschedule the next week, and the reviews and recommendations for this doctor are overwhelmingly great, so we will see how it goes and I will update. UPDATE: I went back for appointment, previous results in hand, and asked to run the same labs, stating valid reasons, including an issue I had previously that was detected by running a lab not being ordered, and also that we couldn't compare apples to oranges, etc. The first request was refused and the second request was ignored, so I made an appointment with a different doctor. Side Rant: It is so hard to find a doctor that will work with you and not ON you. No one knows my body and my medical history better than ME! After all, I'm paying for a service. It's like going to a restaurant and having the server tell you what you are going to eat. LOL Feel free to message me recommendations! IMHO, the office staff could use some training in scheduling. Be sure to take extra time off work so you can arrive 15 mins earlier than your appointment or risk having to reschedule! She seems like a great doctor, just not one willing to work WITH me for my particular issue. YMMV
