What a horrible place! My 12 year old daughter went in there. She was TOTALLY ignored (despite the fact that there were 4 clerks and only one other customer). She browsed for awhile and came out to ask me to come in and give her advice, but she barely got three steps outside of the place and a clerk was yelling at her, accusing her of stealing; made her empty her pockets on the sidewalk and finding nothing she left my daughter trembling and sobbing outside the store! I called 3 times asking for someone to call my daughter and apologize and finally they told me that for legal reasons they would NOT apologize or admit that they had made a mistake! While they "warned" her that they had surveillance cameras they told me that their cameras don't show everything (still suggesting that my daughter HAD taken something, again, despite the fact that they searched her and found nothing!). My daughter is a real gem; she'd give away the shirt off her back; nevermind take anything that wasn't hers... What upset her the Most was that someone could even conceive that SHE would do such a thing; and now they refuse to tell a 12 year old child they made a mistake. Also, a 12 year old girl should be a PRIZED customer; right on the cusp of womanhood and newly addicted to make up; yet they treated her like something they'd find on the bottom of their shoes; from the moment she walked in! The owner was contacted and couldn't care less... Their makeup may be flawless but their customer service sucks and I'll never stoop so low. LOTS of great shops in Burlington carry all the products they have; find one that treats you respectfully and have an enjoyable time. read more

I've been going here for years, no joke. The owner has continuously put the effort in and you can tell. EVERYONE is friendly, happy to see you and happy to help. EVERYONE is knowledgable about the products they are selling and they stand behind them. There spa services are top notch (never been for nails, but just about everything else, including gorgeous makeup applications, (ask for Amber if she's available, but regardless, they're all highly skilled) This is the ONLY place to buy makeup in the Burlington area as far as I'm concerned. And the skincare lines they have cannot be beat! Love, love, love this place but be prepared to open your wallet!! any one who already buys the brands they carry (trish mcevoy, Laura Mercier, tata harper, Revive, la mer, etc.) already knows they're not cheap! I have never purchased something here and been disappointed, I'm sure you wont either! read more

A boutique that makes you feel like a million bucks. I am always hesitant to enter any upscale boutique as most places make you feel pressured to buy or try to oversell you on expensive products - not here. I visited Mirror Mirror while on vacation and it honestly was a highlight of my trip. I entered the beautiful store and had mentioned I just wanted to browse around - they respected my space and allowed me to shop without feeling pressured. Once I needed help they were very knowledgeable, gave me some pampering, and were understanding with the selections that I had made. They gave me wonderful samples and had let me know that once I return home if I need anything to give them a call and they will mail any products I would like right to me! I can't wait to continue my relationship with this company and also continue to support a locally owned small business. read more

I just want to say how wonderful Jess is ! I walked into your shop grieving the loss of the 5 students that were killed in the wrong way crash on 89 a short while ago. I knew 4 out of the 5 since they were babies, and was devastated. I went up to Burlington to buy clothes and much needed makeup for the funerals. I was kind of embarrassed by the way I looked, no makeup on, hadn't showered. I shared with Jess the circumstances, and poof! She sat me down, made me up beautifully, expertly demonstrated several products and made me feel the best I had in days. Her manner was beyond sweet, and loving. She made me feel special. I want you to know how high quality of an employee Jess is, and that coupled with her skilled cosmetology talents, will make me a life long client at Mirror Mirror. Thank you Jess for all of the TLC , I will never forget it! Best, Carolyn read more

I feel really crummy after my experience there last week. I went in looking for a little bit of a lift to my makeup and ended up having a women do my face up so heavy, not listen to what I really wanted, and try to sell me literally $1000 worth of product. I had no idea what anything cost and while I thought I'd spend $150 at most, my order came to $450! I got home and realized (after having friends and my kids tell me) that my makeup was much too heavy and not a good match for my look. I see on my receipt that I won't be getting a refund for these unopened products. I feel terrible that I let my pride, embarrassment, intimidation and the message that I'm not pretty enough, get in between me and money I could have spent on something better. read more

I just had my first ever facial (I'm a guy!), and it was awesome. My wife is addicted to the new hydra facials, and she got me a gift card for one for Christmas. Meg did the facial, and she was excellent. I looked in the mirror when I was done, and I don't think my skin has looked so clean and fresh in 20 years. I take decent care of my skin, but nothing crazy; Meg had some simple suggestions for tweaks to my day-to-day routine that would keep my skin looking younger and healthier. Some related to managing sweat when working out, others related to aftershave and using an exfoliant occasionally. Whether you're a lady or a guy, I highly recommend giving this a shot--I'll be back for another one in a few months! read more

I was so happy to find a place that sells luxury makeup and skincare after moving here, but it's not as pleasant as it seems! I was told some horror stories about this place, but I suppose I had to see for myself. One girl that helped me was super sweet, but the manager and some guy were so pushy and made me feel uncomfortable....like being there for a service wasn't good enough for them. They were basically tag teaming trying to get me to buy products I didn't need or want. I'm sure some people that work here are talented, but I can tell that the ones who aren't just hardcore push sales on anyone who walks in the door.....sounds harsh, but I'm just being honest. read more

My face went from beef jerky to prime rib in a matter of 30 minutes. My 2nd facial in life after getting one years ago at Stowe mountain lodge. My attendant Lauren Scholski made me feel peaceful and knowledgeable about each treatment. I suffer with rosacea do to stress and the past few years of you know what. First time I have looked in the mirror and happy at what is looking back to me. I could spend all day at this joint and then book another appointment for the next day if money and time allows. Don't miss out it's a remarkable experience. I also got "after care" after some recommended purchases and boy were they game changers. read more

My fiancé and I were taking a trip up north a few weeks ago, and Mirror Mirror was one of our final stops in Burlington before heading home. Although their store isn't exactly something I would seek out myself, I was incredibly pleased with our visit. While my wife was being shown around the store, looking at different items, the husband of the owner and I were able to chat while he did other work. We both were being attended to and made felt right at home! For experience alone I'd give Mirror Mirror five stars, but according to my wife they have a great assortment of products too! read more

I love Mirror Mirror! It's like going into Sephora, but with a much cozier and friendlier atmosphere. Great to find so many top of the line products at a small business in Vermont. Everyone that I have met on the floor is helpful, personable, and knowledgable. They will also bring you a glass of water if you need to wet your whistle. I recently had a wonderful facial done by Hannah. She really took her time getting to know my skin and designing a custom facial just for me. It was so relaxing and my skin was so smooth afterwards. Looking forward to my next visit to Mirror Mirror. read more

Mirror mirror in downtown Burlington has a multitude of products and services! Not to mention their fantastic craftsman! I have a wedding today and to prep I came in for a hydra facial, henna brow tint, and a spray tan. Can I say Hydrafacial any louder! My skin is transformed... less pigmentation, and I am glowing! Today I came in to get my makeup done for the wedding and they booked me for an hour and wow what they can do it an hour. Lindsey and her crew are absolutely fantastic and are up in all of the newest trends. I couldn't be happier!!! Highly recommended!! read more

What a great place to spend time. It is sooo easy to lose track of time when you are in a playground of products and get to learn from some of the best in the business! My only suggestion would be to the city of Burlington! With businesses like this in town- we need free parking! Forget about sephora or even Mac. Supporting LOCAL businesses and forming relationships any and all of the friendly and eager staff that work here really takes you from a shopping or spa trip, to a soul awakening, beautiful experience. Thank you, Mirror Mirror! read more

I crack up reading these negative reviews! I ventured into this beautiful store about 9 years ago when I purchased a bare minerals starter kit. I will continue to support Mirror Mirror forever. Once again tonight I had an amazing time with all the staff. I honestly don't make millions and I'm always treated like a queen when I walk through their doors. So I can't understand why certain customers had a bad experience. It honestly irritates me Mirror Mirror get a bad review when I know how Lindsey runs her store. read more

The staff here are the amazing. My mom and I went in on a whim and our skin has never looked better. I am so thankful for their customer service and great products. If you need a new look or just want better looking skin, Mirror Mirror has the products and the knowledge of how to apply it. I continue to order product from them even though I live in PA. The staff were kind and patient and gave us the beauty tips and skin care we needed. Thank you Mirror Mirror from helping me age gracefully and naturally!! read more

Mirror mirror is a great business, many people I know love mirror mirror and influenced me to go and get a facial, the experience was great and I could tell results within a hour. The employees are super kind and helpful. The hair salon is also amazing and helpful. showing me products that helped with my hair damage. I forgot to ask the name of the worker who touched up my makeup when I went but she made me look amazing and I'm so glad I started going to mirror mirror. 10/10 I definitely reccomend. read more
