Both my husband myself and my son are patient of Dr. Mike. I would highly recommend him. The office is a little hard but that's because they're overwhelmed with patients but they're very nice. Everyone's very pleasant. Very helpful and Dr Mike is incredible. He listens. He handles everything and he's there for you whenever you need him despite the fact that he has a very large practice. Is one of the doctors that we used to have growing up and he hasn't changed he is just a sweetheart. I would highly recommend him!! 5* read more

Five stars! Dr Mike is the best. My whole family is lucky to call him our PCP. My husband and I have been seeing him for probably 20 years or more, and we are always well taken care of by the doctor and his efficient and professional office staff. After so many years I tell myself that we are among his favorite patients, but it's probably how he makes all his patients feel. I like how I never feel rushed when I'm in the room with the doctor, and if I'm there for one specific issue, he asks me questions about other aspects of my health, ie. what else is going on? My son started with Dr Mike's brother Dr Jay at birth and continued until he aged out of going to a pediatrician (which was a surprisingly sad day for me!) and now he too is doing great with Dr Mike. My family and I have been seeing Dr Mirmanesh for about 7-10 years. We have never had trouble getting an immediate appointment, if it was warranted. I have never been to a doctor that truly is concern with what I have to say. When I need the services of doctors outside his specialty, he's always refers all of us to other good doctors. I trust this gentleman with my life. I'm 72 with Heart Disease and Diabetics and he takes excellent care of me and my family. Both my husband and I enjoyed Dr. Mirmanesh BUT his office staff- we found their actions intolerable. Husband was in hospital, every single specialist my husband called picked up the phone within 24 hrs called back to answer important life threatening questions for the hospital ---except for this Dr. His excuse was "...had I known I would have picked it up." Front desk said they told him. He went out and complained to them and as you can guess--- it was downhill after that. Because I was out taking care of my husband and myself I needed a slip for school and they were so late getting it signed by Doctor that I couldn't take the exam on time. Two weeks wasn't time enough? Guess that was my pay back for complaining. They used highly unprofessional remarks the last time we were in which agitated Bob and we just decided Doc is good but Front desk communication patient care is an art and these girls just don't have it . There are several really good doctors out there and no need to tolerate nonsense. If you don't mind the drama, he's a thorough, great doctor! read more

My daughter had a sore throat and it pain while breathing. She went to an emergency care unit and they tested for bacterial infection: results were negative. She then went to primary physician and informed of culture test. He gave her exam and concluded some type of bacterial infection was still possible and possible bronchitis. He did not perform any tests to confirm this diagnosis. He then prescribed steroid and antibacterial "Z-pak". As result daughter was sick within three days with blood in stool. She went to emergency room and was tested for stool sample. Was not informed to give liquid sample to test for Cdiff. Was given antibiotic for C diff and 3 day later told to discontinue due to neg lab results. Strong negative Symptoms (can't eat, sleep, or work) persisted. Went back to ER and was admitted, correct test was applied and Cdiff was identified and treated for ~1 week in hospital. As result, daughter was out of work for one month, and was released from dental office for lack of work (she is hygienist). Daughter also faces 5K in expenses for hospital bill. Discussed with 3 other medical resources and consensus was combination of medications that caused Cdiff infection. Also of concern was that meds were given after culture indicated no bacterial infection, and no retest was completed to justify administering of medicine. Also no Xray of chest was given to confirm diagnosis of bronchitis. beware of old school Doctors! read more

My experience with Dr. Mirmanesh has been phenomenal. He has been professional, concerned and extremely thorough over the course of 5 visits. In fact, his thoroughness was responsible for uncovering a hidden medical condition that could have resulted in serious health consequences if left untreated. The specialist he referred me to was "stunned" (his words) that a primary doc picked it up. I recommend Dr. Mirmanesh highly. read more

My last experience with Dr Mirmanesh and his staff was a very negative one. The doctor apparently looked at the wrong information in my file and decided not to renew my blood pressure medication as well as other needed prescriptions. He insisted that he had written a prescription while in his office but hadn't. When I pointed out his error, I was told that there was nothing they could do and his staff refused to address the situation any further. They apparently never make copies for their patient's files of scripts that are written. He accused me of doctor shopping. DOCTOR SHOPPING, really??? For blood pressure meds. Come on! This doctor refused to admit that he made a big mistake. He is so cheap, he won't hire full time help. read more

While I really like Dr. Mirmanesh, my experience with his office has been extremely frustrating. As mentioned in a previous posting, they don't seem to track the prescriptions they write. The support staff seems to be unable to locate prescription orders. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a refill of an acne cream. Thankfully, it's not life or death, but it is concerning that every time I call to follow up (they have never called me back as promised) they seem to be confused about which medication it is (he's never had any other and he has had only 1 refill so far---should be easy to find in a file). My second complaint is that they ask you to physically come into the office for paperwork, and some tasks you have to pay for in cash. That seems a bit antiquated to me, we have faxes, emails and secure websites that should help to avoid a drive to his office to get a signature. I will be switching physicians because I think there are good doctors who will better fit my expectations. Just thought I'd share my experience in case there are others who have my preferences. Again, Dr. Mirmanesh is a really attentive and bright physician so if you don't care about the other things, he would be a good doctor to have. read more
