This is how she told me I was low in magnesium, testosterone & had a parasite. no science or actual medicine used. Sent me off with pills for an unidentified parasite, tincture of cilantro, magnesium & to buy a "grounding mat to sleep on". Didn't bother to look & see I was already taking magnesium. I believe in Eastern medicine but Dr Brobyn is a quack calling herself a doctor. Do not waste time or money with her.

Ever since they merged with the new pain management company, they've had problems with me for some reason. They tried to get me off of their service 10 months ago but their reason was a joke and they backed off. Well, they tried it again and told me I had a find another doctor. I asked them for the results of my specimen. I've called the medication line 4 times in the last 3 weeks and left the same message but as of yet, no response. So, what are they hiding? What are they afraid of ? I believe that ever since they new company took over, they wanted me off of their service because of the amount of pain meds they were prescribing to me for 5 years. So they made up this story that one of my meds wasn't in my sample. They told me to find another pain management doctor!! Well, it's not that easy. A new doctor thinks all the reasons I need a new doctor is because of misuse of my meds!! That's not accurate so now I have to go through horrible pain and back to living in my bed!! I've contacted my attorney to look into this nightmare of mine. I'm convinced that the new company wasn't happy with how much pain meds I was having and got worried about themselves so they made up a reason to get rid of me. My spine is fused on 7 vertebrae into my hip bones. I didn't have a cut on my finger!!

This lady named Sue pulled up my uncle's name…read moreand made a comment "There are 9000s of you in the system", and then she asked for the birthdate, and said "Well, that doesn't help. What's the first name?". She went on to tell me how I couldn't ask to get an A1c because they're only ordered once a patient is a diabetic even though the last glucose was above normal (btw, according to the latest 2021 ADA guideline and the previous years, FPG 100-125 is one of the criteria for prediabetes), and he is above 45. She said to just eat better, watch the carbs and it should be fine. I don't appreciate how she was giving medical advice when she's not a healthcare provider. We gave her the respect when she spoke, however, when it was my turn to talk, she constantly interrupted me with her loud, crude tone. There's only so much unprofessionalism I can take before I responded- and yes, I reciprocated. From what I heard, the doctor is great and caring, but the staff could use some sensitivity training and allow patients and caregivers to talk instead of treating us like sub-humans.

After so many years I tell myself that we are among his favorite patients, but it's probably how he makes all his patients feel. I like how I never feel rushed when I'm in the room with the doctor, and if I'm there for one specific issue, he asks me questions about other aspects of my health, ie. what else is going on? My son started with Dr Mike's brother Dr Jay at birth and continued until he aged out of going to a pediatrician (which was a surprisingly sad day for me!) and now he too is doing great with Dr Mike. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.
