I've been a Mirasol resident for several years now. One of the main perks about this property aside from the lush landscape and architecture is the response to any minor maintenance request. Maintenance technician Daniel has been effectively managing requests for a couple of years now! He always shows up on time, as scheduled. He is friendly, polite, and knows his stuff. He takes the time to explain everything to me and makes sure the job is done quickly, but carefully. I have been especially impressed with how clean he leaves everything when finished. Used to love living here. But now... we pay more than 3k a month to look at garbage everywhere, dirty parking lots, unresolved maintenance requests (ticket closed, but item not fixed) dirty stairwells and patios (not cluttered, IC no longer will power wash like they used to) dog poop everywhere, a residential office than is NEVER available and when you do get a hold of someone, they lie to you about relaying information to the maintenance team, they require renters insurance, but only certain types of renter's insurance (had to switch bc apparently paperwork wasnt up to snuff), property work alerts that come the day before or day of or just have the wrong date entirely. Maintenance crew is great. They do their best. But IC has slashed staff so hard it is impossible for them to do a good job. read more

I lived at Mirasol for 2 years and Palmeras for 2 years prior ( the complex affiliated with this one). I am sad with my experience at Mirasol, and do not recommend you to move here or to rent from Irvine Company. The apartment complex is a facade. Parking is a joke, you will never find a spot (even after their so-called "inspections" and "permit enforcement"). "Remodeled" Gym includes no good additions and is extremely small. Pool area is small. While the apartments are large and spacious, for what you pay for.. its not worth it. The trashcans always full and overloaded with known raccoon problems. Cops have been present multiple times in this complex and after move out, you will get gorged with fees (even if you did not cause said fees). During your stay at Mirasol if you do choose to live there-- inspections in your apartment constantly, construction/gardening at all times, when they have 3rd party vendors come do services-- dont expect them do a good job. Needless to say, living here during COVID while being stuck in my apartment was torture. I am so glad to be done with Irvine Company and their horrible apartments. Its a shame they have monopolized apartments in Irvine, but do yourself a favor and look outside Irvine Company as your landlord. read more

These allegations are COMPLETELY false and we keep getting this type of harassment from this company. I had two unexpected issues pop up and requested maintenance help early Friday morning (refrigerator filter replacement and garage door problems). Not too long after I put in the request, I get a knock on the door and received immediate help from Walter. He was very friendly, professional, and made sure all of my questions were addressed during the visit. He also went out of his way to check-in with me later in the day to make sure I was updated on the garage door fix. Ive been having dryer issues that past 6 months or so that's been driving me nuts. Thank God for Walter! Walter stopped by earlier today for my scheduled maintenance and he was awesome! His service and care was beyond anything I've experienced. Not only was he knowledgeable and able to fix the dryer but he was so patient when I asked if he could also check the washer as it's been leaking. Without any hesitation Walter was quick to check the washer and test it out. He ran an initial test and saw nothing but Walter went above and beyond and ran a few different tests to make sure there was no leak. There was a leak and he ended up replacing a part for that as well. Walter was amazing and so thorough. Thankful that there are people out there that are still service oriented. read more

We just moved in to Mirasol and it's been great. Colton in the leasing office was extremely helpful! He answered all of our questions, and dealt with any issues in a very timely manner, thank you. It is always peaceful and quiet, I haven't experienced any of the negative issues other reviewers have. Upon moving in, we found some minor problems to address. Sal the Maintenance Manger, was there quick, fast, and in a hurry. He addressed all of the issues and fixed everything immediately. Sal's customer service and communication was outstanding. Irvine company's third party worker stole my valuables when there was a water leaking repair inside one of my bathroom. It's incredible but things literally happened. The resident office attitude was like they didn't have any responsibility while they just checked with their third party. No camera around Mirasol living space but only some within business center.The response is palpable no one will admit and return. Even worse, the office told me that was the lessen what I could learn from. It's ridiculers since i did nothing wrong. It's not the way to resolve problem and even try to pass blame to their resident. One month passed, no further info just like nothing happened. I filed the case with Irvine police and purchased indoor cameras otherwise I am not feeling save. For anyone's heads up, no matter current resident or you want to live here, the thief is still around you. Be careful and watch your valuables! Love living here. All staff is so nice and helpful ! I had a list of maintenance requests I needed done and Sal came the day after I put in the request and fixed everything for me. He was so polite, super quick and answered all questions I had.The requests were for my bathroom, but he asked and made sure everything else in my apartment was working properly. I put in a ticket for a water leak in my bathroom that I couldn't trace. When I put in a ticket, I didn't think it would be addressed in the next couple of days because I didn't mark it as an emergency. Within the same day, Walter came in, evaluated every water source, and diagnosed that it was coming from the toilet's old internal hardware. It was incredible that he fixed this in less than 10 minutes. Walter's professionalism, quality of expertise, and knowledgeability was top notch. My wife and I moved in mid Oct 2019 and this review is for the sales team (Nick and Amanda) and resident services at Mirasol. Nick and Amanda were not only easy to work with but also very accommodating to our situation. I met with Nick multiple times to check out the apartment before finalizing it and he took my calls and visit with a smile on his face everytime. After making the deposit, we was supposed to move in on a Friday but our plans were delayed because of Saddleridge fire evacuations. Instead of forcing us to move or raising the rent on us, Amanda worked with me directly to get us extensions and find possible work arounds. She followed up multiple times during the day and went to her management to find ways to help us. We are very thankful to Nick and Amanda for their kindness and professionalism. We met Victor during apartment inspection tour. He was very professional and worked with us to make sure it was a pleasant move in experience. In the few weeks that we have been here, we reached out to him for small issues and he has taken care of those in a matter of hours. I prefer talking to him directly about any issues knowing they will be taken care of. We even called him to come over to our apt with his maintenance team to take a look at a few things, and he showed up on time with his team and addressed the minor touch up work with his team. Mirasol community is serious about taking care of their residents from sales teams to resident services. My wife and i looked at 20+ Irvine company apartments and so glad we chose Mirasol. I wanted to update my review for Mirasol as we just completed an apartment transfer about 5 months ago into our new unit. We were in a one bedroom over the last year here and loved the community so much we stayed and upgraded to a 2-bedroom. It's still quiet, everyone is friendly. The staff is nice. However..... we were charged $1,130 for our last apartment. They replaced the carpet, pad and supposedly had to "decontaminate" the subfloor. Wowwwwwza. That is the most money we have been charged moving out of an apartment in the last 10 years, even in other Irvine company apartments that were physically nicer/newer than these ones on the inside. And we literally move every year so we are used to paying a few hundred dollars here and there. I have a son who was 3 & 4 years old while living here in the 1 bedroom lease over the last year, who is a typical kiddo. Made some spills here and there. But I have a carpet steamer. So I steamed the carpet in the apartment at least every other weekend to make sure it stayed decently looking. I had no idea having a 3-4 year old in a carpeted apartment would cost me $1130? Unfortunately, we can't really argue anything with Irvine company because we would never win. So we are stuck paying for it on a monthly plan (which we just paid off almost 5.5 months later). Had I known that we were going to be charged that much, I would have moved back to an apartment with laminate floors and definitely wouldn't have done a transfer into another carpeted mirasol apartment. The 2-bedroom we are in now, is way bigger than our 1-bedroom, so are we going to be paying $2000+ next year? Lol. I certainly hope that doesn't end up being the case. Also, this apartment was not in quite as good of condition as our last one. Lots of weird spots on the baseboards. Also where the cabinets meet the tile in the kitchen and just above that...were disintegrating or breaking apart. The spare bathroom tub peeled a week after moving in, the Wi-Fi is in the DINING ROOM in our new floor plan.... Which blows. There's a huge crack in our kitchen countertop which they had repaired before we moved in, but it's weird looking. And also, our entire apartment building itself leans to the left. All the doors on the right side of the apartment slam closed, and all of the doors on the left side fling open. I had to put magnet door stoppers on all the doors to keep them open. Which sucks. I brought this to the attention of the office as it made me really nervous, and they said an inspector was coming that same week to look at all the buildings, but I never heard back. [See photos]. (Also, just a side note.... They did offer to come clean up the baseboards and fix the bathtub but I just haven't had time for them to come in to do that as I work from home and I'm on virtual meetings almost all day). Also, another complaint I have in our new location is the trash bins. We are the first bins when you drive into the community, so the surrounding neighbors are CONSTANTLY dumping super large items in our trash area. I'm not sure what mirasol is doing to control the situation, but it is so embarrassing paying so much to live in a nice community and then looking out our windows or walking to our car just to see trashy sectional sofas and large garbage items overflowing into the street. Also, why am I paying for trash that is being used by all of Stonegate and more? (See photo example) Mirasol is overall still a really nice place to live.... But I will say our experience last year was much better than it has been this year so far. Would recommend if you don't have kids or any sort of animal that would put any marks on the carpet. read more

New here. So far pretty impressed with the apartment community and especially management/maintenance team. Though pandemic restrictions are in place, management tried to help in each and very step of my move in through phone calls and sometimes in person with social distancing protocol. Very smooth move in the experience. My job requires lot of relocation. I did 6 moves in the past 7 years within USA and this is one of the best experience I had with apartment communities. Each person I spoke with in their office is very helpful. I just utilized mirasol Maintenance team for the first time today. I can clearly see their first priority is customer. Walter came in and listened on each questions and addressed them in very professional way. He is very good. Lindsey, leasing consultant, is the best and helpful. She listened to all my requirements and recommended best one. Also, I had to change my mind after sometime due to school enrollment ..yet she helped in finding new one within no time. Wanted to leave a 5 star review for Walter and Daniel. Our fridge stopped working and the maintenance service was great. Daniel quickly identified the issue and was able to get the fridge up and running again. We also noticed a lot of June bugs, spiders and roaches in our home and Daniel reassured us they would re-spray their perimeter with bug repellant. Walter came by the next day to follow up on our fridge and did a very thorough job of checking the back and underside to ensure no other issues. We are in Mirasol for almost 8 months,now it's a beautiful place, clean bright and the staff (the office and the maintenance) are super friendly. A week back we had issues with our kitchen sink, I called first thing in the morning and by 10 am Daniel and Walter came in to check and fixed it immediately not only this time I noticed every time I have an issue I see the maintenance guys respond immediately, once they said it will take 48 hrs to fix the issue but within 5-6hrs I see Walter and Daniel came in to fix the problem. They are super clean very friendly and leave the premises spotless in fact when I had issue with my washer Daniel and Walter (I have only seen them mostly) they even helped me and explained everything related to the washer clean it which made me feel like he installed a new one.
