The food was great. The only downside was that one of our items were not sent. The el pastor tacos are delicious.

Visit Date: January 20, 2026…read more I got the LI cafe passport book from my co-worker for Christmas. In January I got to go to two coffee shops in this book, for five was the second one. I went with one of my friends. We both had the mochas and I had a shot of espresso because the book recommended it. The espresso was good, not overly bitter, pretty much just right. The mocha was amazing a good ratio of chocolate, coffee and espresso. It was pretty busy here and the atmosphere was nice. The snacks looked really good maybe one day I'll go back for a pastry. I give for five five stars and five beans and would recommend coming here if you like coffee shops.

The elitist attitude continued throughout the transaction; she couldn't be bothered to tell me which beans she was using, and once the coffee was finished, she didn't even acknowledge me or announce that the drink was ready. It's a shame when a shop's "gatekeeping" attitude ruins the experience. There is no excuse for treating customers with that much contempt. I won't be returning to a place that makes me feel like an inconvenience for ordering a coffee.

Their pastries are top notch, both in ingredient and aesthetics, but beyond that I am most impressed with the customer service at this location. They stand behind excellence and ensure customer satisfaction, and it shows in their demeanor and action when something is not 100% up to par. If you're looking for something delicious and beautiful, or a piece of cake, tart, or mousse that will impress, this is your place! It's worth every penny!

And now an even closer location in Plainview! Pretty soon they're gonna open one right in my backyard or something haha. It is a lovely spot for authentic French-inspired pastries and coffee. I've had everything here including cupcakes, brownies, croissants, macarons, cookies, madelines, etc. I've also come here to get a small cake for special occasions. It is also a very nice place to come with friends and enjoy a coffee and pastries. The elegant, pristine interior with marble accents and beautiful displays creates a welcoming Parisian vibe. Perfect for a quick treat or relaxed sit-down. I love the cookies here, they're soft and chewy unlike the Plainview FWS I always leave with a giant bag of 5 of every different flavor of cookie(chocolate chip, nutella, oreo, pistachio, etc) because the texture is so soft and smooth. My new obsession is the fruits of the forest cake. So delicious! Its a must try!!! It gets packed in here, but the line moves quickly! If you haven't tried FWS yet, what are you waiting for?

After being seated by the hostess and handed menus, she explained to us how to order. We make our selections then go up to the counter and order our meals. The gentleman who took our order was friendly. You're given a number to display on your table and the meal and drinks are brought to you. My son had a Rum Rock Punch and The TEA. I ordered a Margarita Flight (choice of four) and the Shrimp and Grits. The food was fresh and flavorful, both of us throughly enjoyed our meals. The drinks were also good. The drinks in the flight were not labeled. I wish they had been. The food, drinks and service surrounded by festive decor made for a wonderful brunch experience. We will definitely be returning......

The staff was welcoming and sat us down promptly. I ordered a special item being promoted for February, the Red Velvet Waffles. I can't say it tasted exactly like red velvet; it had more of a mixed berry sort of taste, but it was good nonetheless, especially with the side of sausage and fresh fruit. (It tasted even better the next day after being reheated in the oven.) The real star of our visit was the Shrimp and Grits. It was well-seasoned and had a great consistency. I would definitely order either of these meals again. Looking forward to returning to try more items off their menu.

The person I was with was even greeted with a "you know that item costs this much" when they placed their order .....all because of my shirt. They are on UberEats so if you are dressed casual you can get it delivered (or perhaps pick it up) I am sad to hear that they will be closing, I do want to get there one more time for lunch as it was always a nice experience aside from the one encounter.

Seventh street staff is accommodating and attentive. The food was very good. We started with the hot antipasto. Although it's really only enough for two people. You need another app for more people. The bread basket was a nice touch. The menu is very extensive and well priced. I had the salmon which was well portioned and tasty with a Dijon. My aunt had a thin grilled chicken and vegetables. We both loved their scalloped potatoes, yum. My mother had gnocchi bolognese which was very good as well. For desert we went with rainbow cookie but it was missing that rainbow taste. The fruit tart with cream was nice but the cream could have been thicker to give it more taste. Cappuccinos were too light mostly milk in color and taste. Overall very happy this place is still here, it has everything and in a prime location.
