Unethical business practices coupled with inadequate and under qualified employees in the office makes this a place I would not recommend to anyone. My Mom in Law, Michelle Aikin is a long time high school counselor at Damonte Ranch High School and came into this office because of hearing issues. She was told that the school district health insurance would cover most of the cost of her very expensive hearing aid but that she would still need to pay the entire amount up front. The office would then file paperwork with her insurance company and My Hearing Centers would issue a refund for the difference.... WHAT?! Why would you ask a patient to pay the entire amount up front when you have already preauthorized the hearing aid coverage with the insurance company and knew how much they would be paying. My Hearing Centers required my mom to pay $1975.84 up front when the insurance company said that she would only be responsible for $460.00. This was all done in December of 2019. Tracy in the office at My Hearing Centers told my mom that the refund would be processed and she should receive it in 30-45 days. We are now in June 2020 and she has still not been issued a refund. The end of February we found out from the insurance company that the claim was never filed correctly. In the middle of March, Tracy told my mom that the refund was in the mail. NOT. TRUE. The end of March, after speaking with the insurance company, we found out that the corrected claim was NEVER SUBMITTED. All this time my mom had been speaking with the insurance company and they insured that the claim would be expedited as soon as My Hearing Centers filed the correct paperwork. The beginning of May, Tracy said that the insurance company contacted her and she would arrange for a refund with the corporate office at My Hearing Centers. It is now June and my mom finally received a call from Tracy. She said that the refund would be only be $900, so again, paperwork was filed incorrectly because someone can't do basic math. The refund due should be $1575.84. So, My Hearing Centers, when will this be resolved? When will you fix this colossal SH*T STORM? You took advantage of trusting person and now my mom feels duped, pissed, wronged and just plain disrespected.

I am scheduled to see an ENT in a couple of months and my problem will likely require surgery. At some point in the future I will go see Pat again to determine if correction is warranted. Three months ago I met with Dr. Hudson and his team and was given three options. Dr. Hudson recommended a sinus balloon dilation. Did the procedure and there was a drastic improvement in my breathing. I am a CPAP user and I no longer need to use sinus sprays before sleep. Come to find out for an MRI I had to do for another health issue that my sinuses are solid white with, again, huge polyps. Paper clearly states very obvious polyps and Sinus Disease and I saw the imaging, solid white sinuses (supposed to be clear/not visible) even on a day I wasn't sick at all. I can't even breathe and sleep most nights. So frustrating to have to go through this process AGAIN with another ENT because the one I had already gone to literally refused to do their job.
