I cannot thank Pat and Alan enough because the medical professionals that just looked into my ears with that useless tool in their office had told me my ears looked good while ignoring my symptoms. I am scheduled to see an ENT in a couple of months and my problem will likely require surgery. At some point in the future I will go see Pat again to determine if correction is warranted. This appliance is the missing link I didn't know I needed for so many years. I came to Sierra sleep so nervous about the price tag and the commitment that this treatment called for and the team at Sierra sleep put me immediately at ease. They felt like they genuinely cared about my experience and how to get me feeling my absolute best. They made me feel confident that the commitment I was making so the right, and it absolutely was. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was met by Kat, who is so sweet and easy to chat with and incredibly helpful with anything financial/insurance related or providing quick answers and reassurance. She's such a great cheerleader for your overall health, even though she is not a practitioner. I then met with their myo coach, Nikki, for my evaluation. She listened intently to my long (really long!) life story of health struggles including chronic pain and took lots of scans and measurements. She told me she sees what I'm experiencing all over my face and reassured me they were the right solution for me after decades of searching for answers in every eastern and western medicine practice I could get into. I cried when she first told me that, in part because I believed her, but also because I was honestly terrified to believe her after all this time of feeling like people promised they were the solution to all of my problems. Nikki told me she had a very similar story to mine and that this treatment changed her life. I felt excited to continue to hear about what they found in my eval. After my eval, I was given a wearable device to go home with and perform a sleep study. A month later, the findings from that sleep study and all of my scans were presented to me by their wonderful practice clinical director, Lancette. She presented the findings of my eval to me with detailed information and documentation, even providing a helpful summary of it all later to give to other practitioners. She shared I had a severely undersized airway, among other issues. She guided me on what was next to help me feeling my best. I selected the oral appliance therapy and myo coaching treatment options. I began myo coaching immediately, where Nikki was so fun to hang out with while also kicking my butt with oral exercises I could barely perform. She's a joy to spend time with and has endless expertise to share to help improve your oral motor functioning and overall wellbeing. Finally, I met Dr.Bocchi when the oral appliance arrived a several weeks later. He is caring, attentive to your questions and concerns, and very skilled with the treatment modality. He has tested all of his treatments on himself, which provided me great relief when you hear about the bad outcomes that people talk about with appliance therapy to expand your jaw. I'm 4ish months into wearing the appliance nightly and my face is already starting to change. If I felt like this for the last ten years, I wouldn't have self identified as having chronic pain and tension and I definitely would not have shown up at Sierra sleep begging for answers. I'm no where near done in my journey though, I am excited to see how great I can feel.

He was in a big hurry as always and did not see the PCO which is a film commonly grows on new lenses after cataract removal. He told me to come back in 6 mo. The eye glasses were no help that he prescribed. I went to an optometrist and he told me that I had PCO on lense and needed to have it zapped with a Zag laser. I went to Dr. Manning and he zapped the PCO and then my vision was fine in my left eye. A month later, I had my rt eye zapped. Dr Gammet should have found the PCO. It is common to get it even two years later.

I…read morewanted to wait for the CT scan that I also was referred to from my M.D. I was reading and I walked in. There was no one else in there, I walked up to the counter and told the girl I had an appointment gave her my name. Just kind of strange to have a new patient without much in the way of greetings or social interaction. The wait in the first waiting room was about 10 min. After filling out paper work and doing the insurance stuff, the office girl asked for the copay and then took me to the second waiting room. There was 1 other person in the second room. After about 10 minutes, 2 more people showed up. After 15 minutes, the second waiting room was completely full. Still no sign of neurologist or Physician Assistant. Took about 30 minutes to get called in. I was seen initially by the physician assistant. He was polite and friendly. He asked good pointed questions He did the full neurological test check for loss of sensation and stuff like that. After the initial evaluation, the physician is called in neurologist. Went over a few items and then referred me to have an MRI. Quick and efficient, but no bedside manner, other than the physician assistant. They have followed other medical offices and make appointments only available Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
