Dr Martinez has saved me! I haven't felt better in years. He offers so much more than just a chiropractic adjustment and his machines are state of the art. read more

For the past year, I've had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Martinez, and I can confidently say he is the finest chiropractor with whom I've ever had the opportunity to work. Having availed myself of chiropractic services for approximately 25 years and having been treated by over a dozen practitioners across various locations, I never anticipated encountering a chiropractor who could match the exceptional care I received in San Francisco--until I met Dr. Martinez. His approach is not only thorough and educational, but his ability to identify and address pain points surpasses any other experience I've had. Thanks to his expertise, my back has never felt better, and I am deeply grateful for the level of care and attention to detail that Dr. Martinez provides. read more

Anything I say about treatment is second-hand, as it was my wife that received treatment. My experience is from a billing view with this outlet. My wife goes in for treatment as a first-time patient, receives treatment, and is charged beyond our co-pay. She brings this to my attention, and I call our insurance to discuss it. Since it was so soon after treatment, a claim was not received, so I called back a week later, and found out there was a wrong coding on the chiropractor's end. In the meantime, we received our EOB, and it clearly showed that the extra charge was NOT to be paid. After having a conference call with our insurance and a young lady from ISS, it appeared that with the EOB being provided, a corrected claim would be sent, and we'd be refunded our over-pay of about $85. About 3 weeks later, no refund, and when I called ISS, the same young lady told me there would still be no refund, though a new claim was sent in with corrected codes. Interesting. Though ISS says and shows my wife signed a form agreeing to extra treatment, if needed, and payment, what I saw also stated that it would be based on insurance coverage, and ours, based on treatment, shows the co-pay was all we needed to pay. read more

Dr. May is a life saver. I've had neck pain and chronic headaches on and off for about 5 years. Injections, physical therapy, meds, chiro. You name it, I've done it all. I recognize that every once and awhile I just need a good adjustment. But it's hard to find a chiropractor that's willing to adjust you without putting you on some 6 week plan, 2x a week, and then you finish feeling like you can't survive a week without an adjustment. That is NOT the case here. I was referred by someone who assured me Dr. May wouldn't do that so I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did! Dr. May listened to my background and chief complaints and offered up some suggestions. We discussed a treatment plan that targeted one area at a time so we could try and pin point the area that was causing the pain/discomfort/headaches. After the first adjustment I felt significant relief. After the second one I felt like a new person. I have two more adjustments to go and then we'll discuss next steps. I feel confident in his approach. The office is modern, clean, and the staff is friendly. I look forward to having Dr. May as my chiropractor in the years to come. read more

I have been treated by Dr Martinez for 10 plus years. I had a severely crooked neck from years of extremely intensive studying. I had no clue of how bad the condition was until I was treated by Dr Martinez. I knew something was wrong and my husband had recommended Dr Martinez because he had a good experience with him. I had a week of chiropractic treatments and my neck was straight. Changed my life. I am really afraid of chiropractic treatments for an unknown reason. I trust no one but Dr Martinez to manipulate my spine. read more

Dr May is hands down the best Chiropractor in Reno and the practice in which he works! He is more than just a back cracking Doc, he's a tissue healing miracle worker! I have been seeing him for 2 year now and he has put me back together on several occasions from lower back issues to tennis elbow and a number of sprained body parts! Better than Disneyland. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I've been going to see Dr. May since week 14. I've had some sciatic pain, ankle swelling, lower back pain, mid back pain, neck pain from adjusting my sleeping positions - you name it. I literally count down the days until my next appointments. Dr. May does such a great job of explaining what he's doing and making you feel calm so you can relax during the adjustments and I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I love that he actually assesses your mobility and takes time to listen to what is bothering you so he can give you the right adjustments vs. doing the same routine every time you go in. He has been so good with the pregnancy, always asks how I'm feeling, and always checked if I was comfortable laying on my back or stomach (early on). Now that I am bigger he has adjusted all of my movements so I don't have to lay flat but I get the same 5 star treatment every time. I started making appointments for my husband to see him too so I don't have to keep walking on his back or cracking his neck. I recommend Dr. May to every person who needs a chiro and I highly recommend him for prenatal adjustments as well. Appointments are always easy to make and I have never once waited more than 5-10 minutes. Most of the time he takes me in early. Tuesdays and Thursdays he typically stays late until 5:30 or so, so it makes it easy if you have a strict work schedule. The office staff is so sweet and helpful as well which can make such a difference! He isn't one of those money driven chiro's that just want you to come in often so they get paid. He truly cares about all of his patients and lets you decide when you want to come back. I started at 4 weeks and was feeling good by then so I pushed it back to 5, but now that my baby is getting bigger I'm going in closer to every 3 weeks. I just love that it's totally up to me and he doesn't try to push me to come in more often than I want. read more

I have been seeing Dr. May for a little over 6 months now at it is always a great experience. He is honest and not out to make a quick buck and see as many patients as possible. He really spends time with his clients and is genuinely trying to help. I also recommended my dad to come see him as my dad has had 4 back surgeries and could find a chiropractor that would actually adjust him. Dr. May saw him immediately and his ailments were no challenge. My dad is raving about his experience and how much better he feels. read more

There is an old lore that chiropractors get you hooked on treatment so they can keep getting your money... That's like the mechanic getting money out of you for those unnecessary oil changes. Dr. May and the crew provide a maintenance program that caters to you. Want more adjustments to stay limber, they do it. Want to pop in after a game and get realignment, come on down! I always leave feeling better, and that is the key. read more

If you've been searching for the best chiropractor in town look no further! Dr.May has exceeded my expectations. I've seen several chiropractors that have all ended up doing the same thing with no results. When I came to Dr.May I had given up all hope because of my history with other doctors. Dr. May took his time to really understand my concerns and history. After a few visits I could already see the difference. He has helped me and still does, also helps my husband and daughter. It's awesome to be under the care of someone who really strives to help and be completely honest. I appreciate all that he has done for us. I 100% recommend Dr.May! read more

I am retired ath The Doctors, Chiropractors, and support staff are amazing! They work a team to make sure your unique pain needs are not just met, but solved. They believe in cultivating long term relationships with their patients in order to see you to your finish line! Dr. Martinez has always found a way to go above and beyond! Thank you for making time to adjust me today. I am mildly addicted to athletics. My body is a tool and I am extremely hard on it-in demand of its performance. Thank you for helping me reach my goals! I started seeing Dr. May when he came to the office. I like his holistic approach to what the cause is rather than simply treating the symptoms. He believes in seeing a patient until they are better and then sending them home with exercises or ideas to keep them healthy. As a runner, I need a soft tissue expert which is what I found in Dr. May. He went to a sports chiropractic school that focused on injuries I seem to get as an athlete. read more

Once in constant misery, I started seeing Dr. May 2.5 years ago (1-2x/mo) for a disc herniation in my lumbar spine, and I have remained pain-free ever since. The staff is always awesome and accommodating, appointments are on-time, and treatments, no matter what the ailment, are always effective. Highly recommend! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Martinez since I was 16. (I am now 31) After moving to Portland, I tried many chiropractors and found none that where even close. went here for the customer appreciation day. ive been looking for a chiropractor who does applied kinesiology, sadly they do not do this here. my wife and i both got adjusted and felt much better when we left. i have a follow up, but at almost $50 a treatment i wont be going back very offen. (my last chiropractor charged $20 a visit but he is in las vegas) the treatment helped but my problems are bigger than a one time shot. the doctor i saw was knowledgable and had some unique moves but without applied kinesiology ill keep looking. cheaper and applied kinesiology and u get 5 stars. read more

I'm really skeptical about Chiropractic in general, but when I had my daughter last July, I hurt my lower back. I let it keep hurting for over a year before I finally broke down and decided to see a chiropractor. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Martinez, and I'm really glad she did. His bedside manner is very warm and he's always there to give good advice and help when I need it. I've been seeing him for about 2 months now and the pain is down from a 6 to probably a 2. I'll keep going every 3 to 4 weeks until the pain is gone, but I'm well on my way thanks to Dr. Martinez! read more

In the past two years, I've had two accidents. The first was a slip and fall which brought me much pain to my back and hips. I struggled daily to walk up the stairs in my house. I could not walk long distances without pain radiating from my hips down to my ankles. I've tried acupuncture/acupressure with temporary relief. I've tried trigger point injections and other injections into my sacroili joint... Sometimes with relief and only temporarily. About nine months after my accident, I met Dr. Martinez at a Women's Show. Since I've been seeing Dr. MARTINEZ, I CAN NOW go up stairs painfree and walk at a brisk pace. My second accident was an auto accident which reinjured my hip and neck areas. I continued to see Dr. MARTINEZ for adjustments to my hip, back, shoulder, and neck pains. At this same time, I was seeing Massage Therapist, Jesse Filsinger, in the same office. My body was a mess with pain in joints, a lot of tightness and "knots" in the shoulder /neck areas. I always felt better after each visit...loose and like I was "walking on air." He would ask how I felt physically before each session and would work the massages accordingly. These massages relaxed me to where it always gave me a great sleep that night. I highly recommend this office...I've also worked with Sheila, physical therapist; Jessie, Dr. Martinez' assistant; and Lindsey, the receptionist. This is the nicest group of people that helped me mend from my accidents. read more

Dr. Trevor May is fantastic. My girlfriend recommended him to me when I started experiencing sciatic pain while running. Dr. May listened closely to my symptoms and quickly knew what was going on. He is very conservative and didn't send me for unnecessary imaging. After just one adjustment my range of motion in my leg had improved by at least 50%. Amazing!!!He didn't tell me that I had to stop running and has allowed me to work out as I normally would. His goal is to get me out of pain while doing what I normally do and since I work out at least five days a week he is the perfect doctor for me. I would highly recommend Dr. May for chiropractic care! The office staff is also very nice! They were very understanding when I had to cancel my appointment at the last minute due to my daughter being sick. They squeezed me in for an appointment the very next day. Thank you integrated spinal solutions, you guys are great! read more

if you ever need a chiropractor, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Cissell. best ever! !

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Trevor May. I am very active, work out and run every day, and a busy mom of three and a wife and run three businesses...well that is a lot of stress and demand on my body, mind and spirit. Whether I have had a bad fall skiing or have pulled a calf muscle, Dr. May has diagnosed everything and treated me so that I can keep going without really skipping a beat - which I really need because there is no "stop" sign to our lives really. His functional approach and being open to working with other healthcare professionals is the reason I left my other chiropractor of almost 25 years and switched to Dr. May after just one appointment. Everyone that I have referred to Dr. May has been over the moon happy with their results as well, which makes me feel great that they are well taken care of as they are all people I care about very much. read more

I went in for a routine adjustment...... The chiro gave me a strange shoulder adjustment. I said OW!!! THAT HURT!!!!! He said i would feel sooo much better. Maybe I would need to ice that night...... I woke up feeling like I was having a heart attack. I had Intense pinching horrible pain on the top of my left breast & I couldn't breathe!!!! I struggled w getting myself 2 miles to urgent care & they diagnosed a cracked rib on the top left side where I received the adjustment. When i got back to my car I called the chiro & he said to rest & recuperate & try not to talk or move much. I CANT BELIEVE HE DIDNT SAY IM SORRY!!! I have heard from the chiropractor since, he would like me to go to his doctor for evaluation with all my previous records. WHAT GOOD WILL THAT DO!!! I sit here on day 4 after my adjustment in bed trying to breathe & dying every time i cough or sneeze or burp. He needs to take responsibility for this injury read more

I highly recommend Dr. Cissell. I woke up the other morning and was in so much pain I couldn't even move my neck to the right or barely do every day movements. I left Dr. Cissells office feeling back to myself and I was able to move my neck again. I will be going back to Dr. Cissell every week now! read more

I've been a pt of Dr. Mae's for about a month now. Never have I had such an incredible medical experience. The staff here are so kind and always greet me by name at every appointment. My mom is also a pt here with Dr. Martinez and has expressed the same phenomenal experience every time she comes in. Dr. Mae always listens to how I'm feeling and directs the appointment accordingly, he very nice and has a great sense of humor. Back pain is one of the most frustrating things in the world, but integrated spinal solutions makes things so much better. I am pregnant and I had slipped and fell on my bottom. My lower left side was hurting sooo bad sometimes it would hurt just to get out of bed and bend in certain ways. I needed to be exercising but it would hurt just to walk. I made an appointment with Dr. Martinez and he told me exactly what was going on especially with my extra weight. He adjusted my back and it felt very relaxing. He aligned my back which will help with my delivery. I have gone back a few times and he said I can go also after delivery. Even though he wasn't able to do everything he would normally do because I am pregnant my back feels amazing. That pain from the fall is gone. His staff is also very nice and helpful. I think is amazing how I can touch the floor, which I never could before, without bending my knees and I am 8 months pregnant. My coworkers have also seen him and have had great experiences. read more

I recently saw Dr. Cissel as a new patient and I'm not impressed. I gave an extra star as they got me in quickly, and he made a -15 second call that night to see how I was. For $75.00 for the 10+ minutes I was in with him, I've had MUCH better and less expensive chiropractic care and compassion. He was just your basic wam bam crack em' mam - too heavy handed for me. I think all chiropractors BEFORE adjustment should apply some wet heat, let you rest a bit and they (or a machine) do a mini massage, so you are relaxed and the adjustment is better. Even though I told him I probably couldn't come back a couple days later, he pushed for an appointment and told me to cancel if I had to. Told me to come see him 3 times a week, (this is about more $) and is not necessary, as I've had this problem before and was pain free just once a week for only 3 weeks. I wish ALL medical/dental etc. offices would quit asking for people for their PRIVATE driver's license's and Social Security#'s (I paid in cash). read more

Integrated Spinal Solutions has offered me a comprehensive treatment plan that includes the most effective options for my individual needs. The office is friendly and the staff is highly knowledgeable. Having been in pain for so long with no relief, I went to a surgeon and had an MRI for low back pain. Due to the results of the MRI he suggested surgery as the last resort and had me try other alternatives. On my own, I had tried physical therapy, epidural; pain management shots, prescription medication; yoga, acupuncture and massage therapy and none offered long term relief. I saw a commercial about Spinal Decompression and contacted Integrated Spinal Solutions. I met with Dr. Martinez for more information. I spoke to the surgeon and he agreed with Dr. Martinez at ISS as well as highly recommended him. It was the best decision I ever made. After several treatments I began to move from acute pain to freedom in movement without pain. I no longer need the decompression therapy and have moved on to an as needed, low maintenance general chiropractic care treatment plan. I know it is good for people like me who sit at the computer all day and do not move around as much to have that maintenance plan. They offer more than one location for your convenience, and you get the same quality care. They encourage total body health as well. I started with Dr. Martinez, but Dr. Riley and Dr. Welsh are great too... I have never known a chiropractic office to be so caring and comprehensive in treatment options. Go visit them for yourself and see what a difference it will make for you. read more
