I was working as a home health aide and my client had an appointment here. While we were in the waiting room he asked if he can get out of his wheelchair and into a regular chair, I hesitated for a moment because I was not sure if he could stand or not. I asked him if he was able to stand and he said yes, I then helped him into the chair. When his appointment was over, we came back into the waiting room. My client accidently dropped his glasses, I said oops, picked them up and gave them back to him. A few hours later I get a call from my supervisor saying that someone from this office said that I was very rude to my client, that I acted like it was an inconvenience for him to sit in a chair and that I mumbled stupid under my breath after he dropped his glasses. I did nothing of the sort. The receptionist was the only one that could of done this. She called my place of employment and blatantly lied, causing me to lose my assignments. She should report real elderly abusers instead of lying on people that are just trying to make a living! So caregivers watch out for this crooked place and that lying receptionist that looks like a man. I should have sued them for defamation of character.
